Nov 5, 2012I recently tried to download BB Travel. I connected my Torch to my laptop, but after I click on download, I do not see any further instructions. I do not see a button for sync.

BB Torch :: 9850 Back Button And Menu Button Unresponsive
Oct 23, 2011I have upgraded from a Curve to a Torch 9850. I have had the new phone for nearly 3 weeks and noticed that occasionally the back button and menu button would not work. In the beginning it was once or twice a day but this weekend it has been an all day event. The phone is fairly useless like this. It occurs with all applications as well as text and BB messenger.

Jul 24, 2011I recently purchased a Blackberry Sync Pod and for some reason the phone will not charge while on the dock. The phone wil enter bedside mode and i get a message stating that the phone will not charge. I am able to charge the phone without the dock using the exact same cable. The retailer isnt willing to assist in this matter as they say it is something I need to take up with the manufacture.whats wrong or how to make the phone charge?

May 5, 2012I am trying to upload music to my iPhone 4 from iTunes. I can see my iPhone under the Devices section and can browser through the various tabs "Summary", "Info", etc. In the Music tab, I check the box to "Sync Music" and opt for "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres". I make my selection and can see the Capacity updating with the selections made. But then the only option I have is to click "Revert". I can see the "Apply" button, but it is greyed out - and cannot be selected. No "Sync" button appears.

Jul 11, 2012I have a weird problem with a BB torch 9800, all of sudden the ''Send'' button disappears when I am trying to BBM, I have to remove the battery and put it back then the send button will be active for 30 minutes and then it disappears again, I have sent the device for repair twice and they ve replaced it the 3rd time with the same model and I am using a BB Curve and there is no problem whatsover with the send button on BBM.

Oct 27, 2011I bought a Blackberry Torch 9800 in March this year and am vary disappointed that the button strip has come off.This seems to be a common problem, having read some forum posts eg: I purchased a torch through Letstalk.com and was please to find the torch fit in the same holster I used for my curve. Unfortunately after 2 days I noticed the button panel peeled off. I tried sticking it back, but it kept coming off. I returned the phone through letstalk.com and got a new one. This time I did not use my holster at all. Now, after 2 weeks, the button panel on the new phone is coming off. This is definitely a design flaw, the edges of the panel are visably higher then the rest of the phone and easily catch when handled.

Aug 28, 2011basically i bought my BB torch like 6 months ago, ever since i got it it was freezing (not alot though) anyway like 3 weeks ago the home button (main button) stopped working i turned the device off then on again and it worked. but it stopped working like after a couple of days and i had to reboot it and stuff and its been doing the same thing over and over again and it gets worse everytime, till the home button stopped working at all. then i took the battery out without turning it off, then cleaned the device properly so it worked for like an hour then it stopped working.

I've been using it lightly for the past year or so and I hardly downloaded anything in that time.Lately, however, I've been downloading a bunch of apps and today I was informed via text message that I had surpassed my limit of 500 megs.Talking to Rogers support, we discovered that the Connection Preferences button under Network and Connections, then Mobile Network, wasn't there. He said it should be between Mobile Network and Network Selection Mode, which it wasn't.I have no option to have my phone switch automatically to my wireless when I'm back at my apartment, and as a result, it's using my Mobile Network to download everything, hence going over this month.Short of having to turn off my mobile network while I download stuff via my wireless (which means I won't be able to receive calls), what am I supposed to do? The guy on the phone told me to update my software, but I just tried through Blackberry Desktop and it said there was no update available.

BB Torch :: Menu/BlackBerry Button Not Working?
Jan 30, 2012I'm having an issue with the menu/BlackBerry button (whatever it's called) The button seems to be stuck. So when I push it the menu will come up but it will automatically do what is highlighted, which is often close or open the tray if on the home screen. If I lock the phone it will darken but then lighten up as if I have pressed the button, but I haven't. It will say screen locked but will continously darken and lighten back up.
I was having this issue a little while ago and even took my phone apart to clean as I thought that was the issue but it did not help. Then I needed to charge it, which I normally do by plug in, but this time I used usb to computer. There seemed to be a substantial update for my phone which once completed fixed the issue with the button. Which was a huge relief as I was thinking I would have to pay somebody to fix and I don't want to do that. It is very pricey.
Well today it started back up. I connected it to the computer but it said there were no updates and did not fix the button problem. And yes I have tried battery pull.

Oct 12, 2011A month ago I bought a blackberry torch 9800. At that moment I was very happy with it, because my other blackberry (curve 8520) had to be repared. ut now my bb 9800 has a failure. At this moment the trackpad works on 1 part of te screen. So you have to activate the part of the screen by touchscreen. For example: you can scroll through the menu but not scroll to the sound profiles. Therefore you have to touch the icon on the screen. And sometimes the keyboard doesn't work either. The buttons: dial, menu, return and on/off aren't working either.I have tried many things. Hard boot, master boot and a complete new installation of the OS.

I found a whole bunch of apps that overide the "unlock" part of that button via a slider, but all use the same button to lock. I pick it up, it locks, I put it in my pocket, it locks, it unlocks, I put it in the cradle at night and it locks...annoying to say the least.
