Recently I dropped my BB into the river while fishing.I dried it out and everything still works except the UP Volume button. Does anyone know of an app that can control the volume using the touch screen or the keyboard?I've searched all over and found nothing.
The volume down button is not working on my apple iphone ear buds with remote dosent work. The pause and volume up button work. The portrait orientation is off.
My iphone 4 home button and the volume doesn't work. Have Besy Buy black tie protection plan but they want me to be without my phone for almost a month to repair. I can't do that.
I was at a party and used my phone for a few minutes 4 hours ago and there was no problem. Battery was 78%. After a while I realized my phone was not turning on. After coming back home I connected it to the wall charger and the light is blinking red. When I hold the start button there is a red light constantly but it won't turn on. Holding volume up and start button also doesn't work and there is no vibration. I tried the yellow reset button near the SIM tray and that didn't work either. My phone had a 16 GB built in memory which was pretty used up (It kept telling me transfer to SD card since memory was above 75%). I was going to buy a microSD card for it but now this happened. Is there something I can do to fix my phone?
I have a 9860 Torch and after two weeks, my hangup button stop working when I made calls. My ''back'' button too have the same problem when I'm in the menu.I reboot many time my device and the problem still. What I have to do? Return to my store. They told me: ''we have to send it back to Blackberry and wait many weeks to know if they will replace the device or charge you 60$ if they don't find the problem''.
Just recently (2 wks) the middle select button has quit working on my torch when I have the keyboard extended. I can still scroll around the screen with it, but when I push it to "select" it does nothing. The button works normally when I have the keyboard put away so this seems like a software problem or setting I have wrong
the volume up button of my new Bold 9900 does not work anymore. I got the device 5 weeks ago (and its the fifth device for the last year ...). The irony is that this is supposed to be the replacement for my 4th broke Bold 9780. I really start to regret the switch from Apple to Blackberry. The products are good as long as they work - let me correct - IF they work. And the replacement process takes ages.
I have a Nokia 5310 and my external volume (+) button does not seem to be working at all. When I popped the keys off, it looks like the button isn't even connected. I have no idea how this happened - the phone is brand new. Is there a way to go through the phone settings to change the volume or is the only option the external volume controls?
Yesterday the volume down button and power button started not working. This has happened before and usually if I turn it off and on again the problem is fixed. That's not working this time. The power button works about 2/3rds of the time and the down volume button won't work at all, it sometimes even lowers the volume by itself. Because of this problem, whenever I turn the phone off and on again it brings me to the fastboot page and puts my phone on safemode, which I can't get out of. I've tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, doing a factory data reset, and using recovery mode.
I have an IPhone 3GS, and everything works fine when the headphones are not connected to the headphone jack. Volume buttons work fine, up and down.As soon as I plug any headphones/speaker, I am able to turn the volume up using the side buttons, but not down. I have gone through all of the sound, ipod, and general settings on the phone but cannot find a way to fix this. Btw, the IPhone is Jailbroken, so I would like to refrain from simply trying to update the IOS.
The increase (top one) volume button on the side of the phone does not work. The decrease volume button work fine. For example, I open up media player, put on an mp3, but it is too low to be able to hear so I click the volume button to increase it but it just does nothing. I have threw my Blackberry once or twice in frustration since I got it for Christmas. I imagine this might have something to do with the fault but I don't know for sure.
My volume key down doesn't work anymore. In every occasion it doesn't work, while calling, listening music, or watching movies. If there is not, is there an alternative way to control the volume?
I cant use the volumecontrol on my IPhone 4S. Its just a few weeks old, it worked earlier, the notificationsounds works, the ringsignal works. But there is no sound when i liste to music, film, games. There are no control for volume on the screen either....I have restardet the phone from star
My volume doesn't work with or without headphones. When I try to turn up my volume the ringer shows but there isn't any white dots showing how high my volume is. When I watch a video, I can't slide my volume up because the bar isn't there. My volume will sometimes work and then stop in the middle of a song. also my phone will only ring sometimes when I receive a call. I can't listen to music with my headphones and I can't listen to music through my speakers. But when I use an iPod Dock through USB then my volume will work so I think phone jack is broken...
I think my title says it all, I've tried battery pulls and nothing helped. Is this just a hardware problem? Do I just need to return is or is there anything else I could try?
Sometimes I need my in-call volume high and sometimes low depending on where I am. The up doesn't work for anything, in-call volume, music, etc. I've had the phone a few months now.
I turn ring volume to maximum but its volume still lower than 70% of my other phone LG. Is it software issue or hardware issue? Moreover, the increasing ringtone seems doesn't work, the volume was in the normal level since beginning.
So, we've discussed this in other forums. There are hundreds that experience this problem. The volume will not raise or lower when the screen is off. (Such as holding it up to your ear.) You have to take the phone away from your ear and turn on the screen before you can change the volume. So, will they be fixing this any time soon? I know that theyre working on the hotspot, but this affects more users. Some have thought that this was put in by design to keep someone from inadvertently raising the volume while talking. If th the case, then Motorola needs to give us an option to turn this setting off. Many owners are upset about this. e heard that the volume will raise if you repeatedly press it. m on my second Razr and I can honestly tell you that neither worked this way.
I'm going to sell the phone for parts because the OK button doesn't work and the original frame is trashed, so it's using one from a different RAZR model. However, I have private data on the phone that I can't delete because the OK button doesn't work. Is there a way to delete everything without the button?
After half a day new iPhone 3GS stopped working properly. Home button doesn't respond. It works only when I plug iPhone to the computer.Voice cotrol runs by himself unexpectadly. iPhone 3GS with preinstalled iOSx 5.0.1. Should I update to the new 5.1 or downgrade to the 4.0 version?
