I have a Nokia 5310 and my external volume (+) button does not seem to be working at all. When I popped the keys off, it looks like the button isn't even connected. I have no idea how this happened - the phone is brand new. Is there a way to go through the phone settings to change the volume or is the only option the external volume controls?
View 6 Repliesi have a big problem with my Nokia 5310 Express Music.My memory card has disappeared .I can't see her when i connect my phone via usb to pc , i can't see her when i am on the phone.It seems the problem is from my phone , cuz when i tried to put other mem card to my phone , it doesn't work again , and when i put my card to other phone ( nokia ) it worked successful.Many times i tried to solve the problem with reinstall the software of my phone , but with no result.So i will be greatful someone can help me for this problem.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI bought this phone specifically for listening to music, however it has a fatal flaw for me.I plug in the Nokia supplied earphones with or without the remote control, or standard earphones of any kind and the radio picks up stations and MP3's play beautifully.For 30 seconds.
Then the earphones disconnect or the radio stops playing and tells me to connect the wired headset, though it has not been disconnected or even budged on the table.I then stop the MP3 player or radio. Still not unplugging the earphones, and they miraculously reconnect again..I have just tested it and this happens with phone calls as well.I have updated the firmware to 10.01 and everything else works fine, just this disconnecting problem.
the volume up button of my new Bold 9900 does not work anymore. I got the device 5 weeks ago (and its the fifth device for the last year ...). The irony is that this is supposed to be the replacement for my 4th broke Bold 9780. I really start to regret the switch from Apple to Blackberry. The products are good as long as they work - let me correct - IF they work. And the replacement process takes ages.

Yesterday the volume down button and power button started not working. This has happened before and usually if I turn it off and on again the problem is fixed. That's not working this time. The power button works about 2/3rds of the time and the down volume button won't work at all, it sometimes even lowers the volume by itself. Because of this problem, whenever I turn the phone off and on again it brings me to the fastboot page and puts my phone on safemode, which I can't get out of. I've tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, doing a factory data reset, and using recovery mode.

I have an IPhone 3GS, and everything works fine when the headphones are not connected to the headphone jack. Volume buttons work fine, up and down.As soon as I plug any headphones/speaker, I am able to turn the volume up using the side buttons, but not down. I have gone through all of the sound, ipod, and general settings on the phone but cannot find a way to fix this. Btw, the IPhone is Jailbroken, so I would like to refrain from simply trying to update the IOS.

The increase (top one) volume button on the side of the phone does not work. The decrease volume button work fine. For example, I open up media player, put on an mp3, but it is too low to be able to hear so I click the volume button to increase it but it just does nothing. I have threw my Blackberry once or twice in frustration since I got it for Christmas. I imagine this might have something to do with the fault but I don't know for sure.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was at a party and used my phone for a few minutes 4 hours ago and there was no problem. Battery was 78%. After a while I realized my phone was not turning on. After coming back home I connected it to the wall charger and the light is blinking red. When I hold the start button there is a red light constantly but it won't turn on. Holding volume up and start button also doesn't work and there is no vibration. I tried the yellow reset button near the SIM tray and that didn't work either. My phone had a 16 GB built in memory which was pretty used up (It kept telling me transfer to SD card since memory was above 75%). I was going to buy a microSD card for it but now this happened. Is there something I can do to fix my phone?

I accidently dropped my 5530XM, which was in an ipod sock, from about 1 metre high onto my wooden floorboards. I found that the volume button suddenly stopped working. View 5 Replies View RelatedMy buttons seemed to have stopped working properly. In order to adjust the volume using the side button, I have to shut down the phone and then restart it. It will work for a while and then stops working and I have to go thru the process again. The home button just works whenever it wants. It doesn't fix the problem when I restart the phone. I can slide my finger in a circle around the button and it still doesn't work.

View 4 Replies View RelatedOn my Lumia 950, it will reset when I hold down the power button for 10 seconds but this should only happen when holding down both the volume down button and the power button at the same time. My Lumia 920, which is also running build 10.0.10586.29, can have just the power button held down and once I swipe away the power off prompt, it works normally and stays on just like I want.I would like to use my Qi enabled car mount but it needs to push down on the power button, causing it to constantly restart.

I seriously, 100% and completely agree with you. I really believe in the touch screen. I love it for everything I do on there. I don't think physical keyboards are easier like some people keep crowing, but GOD, the on-screen camera button is SO EFFING TERRIBLE I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! It makes it so awkward to hold the phone and push the button. There is a level of deep-rooted frustration that pops up when using any piece of technology other than my iphone. The only time that frustrated feeling takes over with the iphone is when I have to use that on-screen button to take a picture. It's a pain in the ass, taking multiple pictures sucks, taking pictures quickly sucks, being unaware of my surrounding while i'm concentrating on threading the needle that is making sure i hit the button correctly sucks. It takes the fun out of photography, it takes the spontaneity away and negates the whole advantage of having a camera with you at all times.
Please somebody beg, borrow, or kidnap steve into making the Perfectly positioned to be a shutter button in a comfortable and funny way that just works. Volume button into a camera shutter / video start stop button when the camera button is open.or at least give me the option. I did some looking and the Camera Zoom 2 app has this as an option. Anybody know of any others? I don't like being stuck using a 3rd party camera app as I'd rather use the one that apple designed to work best with their camera. Maybe I'm just paranoid about other camera apps taking longer, and taking worse pictures, but I really want apple to make this an option.
