I was using my phone this afternoon (5310 xpressmusic) after finishing my conversation after pushing the end button my screen went black. Any ideas on how to get it back? the phone still works I can receive and make calls I just can't see any thing. I have tried turning it off and on, removing the battery and waiting before replacing.
View 4 RepliesI am helping out a friend who has a Nokia 6280. She claimed that it's infected by a virus because her problems started after using a Bluetooth headset. I don't quite believe this as I've heard it's more likely to be struck by lightning than to have this phone infected with a virus. Anyhow, the problem is the following: When you power on the phone, you get the Nokia handshake, then the phone loads. However, as soon as the phone loads, a bunch of black lines appear to streak across the screen rendering it black. That's not a huge issue because it goes away after a few seconds. Now I've read this could be an issue related to the ribbon that connects to the screen, but the screen turning black does not occur in any other instance other than right after when the main screen appears. I can play with the slider all day and nothing will happen, but like clockwork the problem appears after the phone loads.What gives? The phone works fine otherwise, so what could the problem be? If you need any more information I will be happy to provide. I've uploaded a video of this issue here (using my 5800 XpressMusic at night - the quality isn't that great sorry, but it does show the problem). Pardon the audio - my kids were watching Spongebob Squarepants so you might want to turn the audio all the way down! I guess my question is two-fold:
1) can this in fact be the result of a virus?
2) if this isn't due to a virus, what is it due to?
I Bought Nokia 5310 Xpress music before one week. I dont know where is the problem. Music play very quiet. Maybe someone can help me ?

I have no idea how this happened - the phone is brand new. Is there a way to go through the phone settings to change the volume or is the only option the external volume controls?
View 6 Replies View Relatedi have a big problem with my Nokia 5310 Express Music.My memory card has disappeared .I can't see her when i connect my phone via usb to pc , i can't see her when i am on the phone.It seems the problem is from my phone , cuz when i tried to put other mem card to my phone , it doesn't work again , and when i put my card to other phone ( nokia ) it worked successful.Many times i tried to solve the problem with reinstall the software of my phone , but with no result.So i will be greatful someone can help me for this problem.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI bought this phone specifically for listening to music, however it has a fatal flaw for me.I plug in the Nokia supplied earphones with or without the remote control, or standard earphones of any kind and the radio picks up stations and MP3's play beautifully.For 30 seconds.
Then the earphones disconnect or the radio stops playing and tells me to connect the wired headset, though it has not been disconnected or even budged on the table.I then stop the MP3 player or radio. Still not unplugging the earphones, and they miraculously reconnect again..I have just tested it and this happens with phone calls as well.I have updated the firmware to 10.01 and everything else works fine, just this disconnecting problem.

I bought this Nokia 5310 Xpress Music. Few months after buying the games started crashing. i.e. when I go to the games folder, the phone restarts. Though once when my brother sent me an application that got saved in the games folder via bluetooth. I could open the folder for about 5 sec, before it again crashed.

I recently purchased a Nokia 5310 Xpress Music about a week ago. It is a great phone, but the problem I am experiencing has to with the memory card. When I try to format it, I select "Options" while "Memory Card" is highlighted but I do not have the option of formatting it. Is there something wrong with my phone? Currently, my phone is V 06.68, which I am assuming is the latest version, since I have the Nokia Ovi Suite installed, and when I select "Update", it says I have the latest version.

First of all i was sending a message and the screen randomly went black and red lines came across the screen for a few seconds then it went back to my message .. Then I was charging it Good Friday and took it out to make a call and the screen went white as if I was turning the phone on as nokia came across the screen please help why is it doing this?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have a problem setting my call barring on the 5310. According to 5310 manual, the default access code for call barring is 12345. The problem is the input field only has 4 spaces for numbers so it fails to activate because I can only enter 1234. BTW, I haven't set any of my own security codes yet. From searching the web I have found people have have this issue with this phone and the access codes. They were given various codes to try, but the matter was not resolved. None of them work. Could someone please tell me what the default access code is for the 5310?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a 16GB Nokia n96, and it was working completely fine till a couple weeks back the screen went blank, so i assumed it had switched itself off. I took the battery out and tried switching it back on, but the screen didn't come on. The phone vibrated once like normal on start-up, then the keypad lit up and the buttons on the slide-up bit, but nothing can be seen on the screen. I can also hear the beeps when i press different buttons, and also I could remember off by heart where my music player was on it, so i pressed the right buttons and my music actually started playing!

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently I purchased an E75 off of Ebay. The problem is, whenever I try to utilize the main camera, all I see is blackness. The viewfinder does not seem to work at all. Scrolling through the camera toolbar takes a while and tooltips remain on the screen without fading away as they supposedly should. I have tried taking picture regardless of the issue, but I recieved an error message which says "Unexpected error has occurred. Restart your phone." or something similar. I get the same result in Video Mode.I have done hard resets and firmware updates to the latest firmware possible, but to no avail. What could it be? Would I need to take it to a Nokia Care Center?

View 4 Replies View RelatedSometime ago noticed that 920 screen goes black when I answer the call or press Call button.And while the screen is black it doesn't response either.Its almost impossible to cancel call when this happens.Only means to cancel the call I've come up with so far is to push lock button twice and try to push End call button when it appears for appr. 0,2 seconds and then disappears again.
