My N95 has been on the frits! It sometimes shows garbles colors, or a weird scanline diagonal draw of the screen. Sometimes if I slide it enough times the screen is drawn correctly but only the top left corner. Other times it just sits there on a black (no backlight) screen. Any reason why it's doing this?
View 5 RepliesMy iphone4 screen went black but i can see that the backlight is still on. i tried to plug it in but still nothing happened. i tried the hard reset but no apple logo came out. i cant use it. i want it to be fixed but there is no apple center near here.

I have had my Blackberry Torch now for about 10months and last week i think i may have got it slightly wet after i tried to answer the phone when getting out of the bath. Since then it has been ok but last night when i slid open the screen everything went black. As soon as i slide the screen shut it works again! This basically means that i can only use the phone as a touch screen phone when it is down (which isn't good for me as I always text using the keypad when it is slided open).I called o2 and they said before they send it off to be repaired that i should try upgrading all of the latest BB software as that might fix it. I have never had any upgrades but will this really be able to fix my screen? Is there any other way i can try and fix the phone myself?

The keypad still lights up, and the LED screen seems to be fine.I've tried everything up to a factory restart. Does anyone else have this problem, or know how to fix it? It's really quite annoying!
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am helping out a friend who has a Nokia 6280. She claimed that it's infected by a virus because her problems started after using a Bluetooth headset. I don't quite believe this as I've heard it's more likely to be struck by lightning than to have this phone infected with a virus. Anyhow, the problem is the following: When you power on the phone, you get the Nokia handshake, then the phone loads. However, as soon as the phone loads, a bunch of black lines appear to streak across the screen rendering it black. That's not a huge issue because it goes away after a few seconds. Now I've read this could be an issue related to the ribbon that connects to the screen, but the screen turning black does not occur in any other instance other than right after when the main screen appears. I can play with the slider all day and nothing will happen, but like clockwork the problem appears after the phone loads.What gives? The phone works fine otherwise, so what could the problem be? If you need any more information I will be happy to provide. I've uploaded a video of this issue here (using my 5800 XpressMusic at night - the quality isn't that great sorry, but it does show the problem). Pardon the audio - my kids were watching Spongebob Squarepants so you might want to turn the audio all the way down! I guess my question is two-fold:
1) can this in fact be the result of a virus?
2) if this isn't due to a virus, what is it due to?
I bought a Nokia 5530 in Xtra Vision recently and I've been having minor problems.. First of all i was sending a message and the screen randomly went black and red lines came across the screen for a few seconds then it went back to my message .. Then I was charging it Good Friday and took it out to make a call and the screen went white as if I was turning the phone on as nokia came across the screen please help why is it doing this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a 16GB Nokia n96, and it was working completely fine till a couple weeks back the screen went blank, so i assumed it had switched itself off. I took the battery out and tried switching it back on, but the screen didn't come on. The phone vibrated once like normal on start-up, then the keypad lit up and the buttons on the slide-up bit, but nothing can be seen on the screen. I can also hear the beeps when i press different buttons, and also I could remember off by heart where my music player was on it, so i pressed the right buttons and my music actually started playing!

View 2 Replies View Related I've a problem with my new sony product, I was in swimming pool after taking some photos the phone stop working, and the screen blinking and can not boot up the phone, after checking it I notice that there is some water in the back camera cover.So i waited about 5 hours and tried to recharge it, then trying to boot it I heard the startup sound with no data on the screen!I noticed that the screen/touch working but there's no back-light!
then I shuttled it down and wait again, after booting the screen has no data and the startup sound works, ( Also there is no vibration anymore! )
I tried to use the small off button but no way! I've also upgraded it via PC Companion but still have the same issue!!I don't know what to do the phone is new...
Recently I purchased an E75 off of Ebay. The problem is, whenever I try to utilize the main camera, all I see is blackness. The viewfinder does not seem to work at all. Scrolling through the camera toolbar takes a while and tooltips remain on the screen without fading away as they supposedly should. I have tried taking picture regardless of the issue, but I recieved an error message which says "Unexpected error has occurred. Restart your phone." or something similar. I get the same result in Video Mode.I have done hard resets and firmware updates to the latest firmware possible, but to no avail. What could it be? Would I need to take it to a Nokia Care Center?

View 1 Replies View RelatedLately I've had trouble with my iPhone 4S backlight. The backlight does not always turn on when I wake the phone from sleep.
I've tried turning off the auto-brightness, but it does not help, the same behaviour continues. When the backlight is not on toggling the auto-brightness button or adjusting the brightness or covering the ambient light sensor have no effect, the backlight stays off. Usually it just randomly turns on after I put the device to sleep and wake it up. And no, my cover does not block the sensor either.

Can anyone please help me with this problem i have only had this phone for two / three months and its already playing up. As I said I will just be on my phone then the screen will go black with red and black stripes going from one side of the phone to another, it will then turn itself on and off again. It is not water damaged and has not been dropped either..Anyone have any ideas what it could be?
