My daughters bb torch has developed an issue where at the top of the phone there r two buttons one for locking screen and one for muting songs and such like. But now every time u press this button it plays a message telling her she has No New Messages. How to switch it off as it wasn't there before.

View 1 Replies View RelatedPeriodically when i am using my iphone and i press the home button it get stuck in and is very difficult to get back out. This doesnt happen every time i use the home button but it is happening more and more frequently. It started happening about a month before the iphone warranty ran out and i didnt think much of it. However now the iphone has been out of warranty for a month it seems to be happening more and more frequently.

I updated to the lollipop software or whatever it's called and my phone literally does nothing anymore it takes about a minute for it to respond to the home button being pressed, and I literally cant open a single app. I cant even get into settings whenever I hit anything on my phone, if my phone responds at all, i just get a black screen. What in the world is wrong with my phone?

Just updated my phone to 5.1, when pressing the shutter button for quick way to take pictures, it now takes 30seconds for camera to come on screen then flickers and won't take a picture. Is there anyway I can reverse this upgrade as it has not improved anything on my phone, it is still very hard to hear when ringing or playing music and now I can't take pictures correctly.

This started occurring after I left my phone to charge overnight and it hasn't stopped since. I've tried running it in safe mode, but the problem still occurs. This started to happen after the ICS update, of late, just for no apparent reason, the tablet reboots when using it. especially playing some games...Now, it is not usable, it just reboots in a loop, sometimes when it reboots sucessfully, its hardly stable for a minute or two then it reboots again.I have not dropped it or it never had any accidents.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought a new Iphone 4s, Since the minute I activated it, it randomally turns itself on and off, locking the screen etc.
Sometimes it stopps for several hours, and then starts to lock again every five seconds. If i turn it off, it turns back on by itself.
I'm pretty sure the problem is with the "lock button", it sends signals even when i dont touch it at all.

I've been having a problem with my Torch since I downloaded updates to a few apps the other day. Now any time the Mute button on the top right of the Torch is hit, a chime sounds and a few seconds later a woman's voice says "you have no new messages". My phone is always on silent, but the voice and chime still sound at full volume. This happens frequently as the button gets triggered when my phone is in my pocket.

In disbelief, I've let the phone restart, made sure no programs were open, and that the phone had finished starting up before going to 'call' and pressing numbers. ANY number, from 1 to 0, gives that restart.I've tried a restoring to factory settings. No joy. I'm reluctant to do a complete hard reset as I have a fair amount of data on the phone.

View 6 Replies View RelatedFirst post here. I just bought my z2 and I absolutely love it but am deeply disheartened and concerned by one problem I'm having which pretty much is the most important thing I need.
Almost every time I make a call - the mute, speaker, end call or other buttons get pressed while I'm talking. I've tried to make sure that the proximity sensor is covered by my ear and it still happens. I've also run the diagnostics and although they pass I've noticed that the vibration for the proximity sensor test does not always stay on if I put the phone up against my ear and move it around. Eventually the vibration turns off and some on screen buttons are pressed.
My trackpad does not scroll but it works when pressed. It has been like this for about 4weeks.I have not dropped it or kept it near water.its just 2monthes old and I baby it so much.there is a tiny red light(I think its the infra-red)showing inside the trackpad so I think its not totally spoilt.since this problem started my phone takes too much time(about 10mins)to come up anytime I take out the battery.and most times the phone is slow in operating. It has worked twice during the 4weeks interval.the first time my battery was flat and I removed it from my phone then when I wanted to charge it came up at a normal time(1min)and was scrolling but stopped scrolling again in about 2mins while I was using it. The other time was wen my camera was not snapping and was giving me error message I removed the battery and put it back and it came up quickly and trackpad was scrolling. I noticed it was scrollin but I did not scroll it much after about 12mins I decided to check and it was still scrolling but when I continued to use it,it just stopped in about 1min.
