Galaxy S6 :: Why Screen Keep Turning On Every Time Lock Button Pressed
Aug 27, 2015Every the lock button is pressed the screen turns back on by itself after a few seconds. The same thing happens when the phone is left to timeout. This started occurring after I left my phone to charge overnight and it hasn't stopped since. I've tried running it in safe mode, but the problem still occurs. I have also tried factory resetting, clearing cache, and a simple restart.

Jun 4, 2012Whenever I lock the screen, and then get a text message, the screen will stay lit for a really long time. Like longer than it used to. I usually have to end up pressing the lock button to make it go off, but not until it I realize that it's been lit for a long time.

This doesnt happen every time i use the home button but it is happening more and more frequently. It started happening about a month before the iphone warranty ran out and i didnt think much of it. However now the iphone has been out of warranty for a month it seems to be happening more and more frequently.

May 21, 2015I updated to the lollipop software or whatever it's called and my phone literally does nothing anymore it takes about a minute for it to respond to the home button being pressed, and I literally cant open a single app. I cant even get into settings whenever I hit anything on my phone, if my phone responds at all, i just get a black screen. Feb 8, 2012the new screen unlock bar which has been released with the new 40.xx firmware is just a malfunction.The sensitifity is too high.If you wait till the animated bar is coming to the center, then touch it with the finger - and still it unlocks.I have so many problems with this new feature - the screen/key lock is unlocking so many times by itselfs..Does anybody else experiences these problems?

Aug 4, 2014Just updated my phone to 5.1, when pressing the shutter button for quick way to take pictures, it now takes 30seconds for camera to come on screen then flickers and won't take a picture. But i observed the gentle swipe now takes the unlock icon only upto middle and its not so fast....its lagging a lot....So is there any thing i can do ? Is there anywhere i can set the touch sensitivity? its very irritating when the phone wont get unlocked with a gentle swipe...

Nov 20, 2011Yet another problem with my Bold 9930 I'm sad at this point that the device I love so much is already dying on me, hasn't even been 3 months yet I'm going to mention all the problems with this device, but the one that started few weeks ago and has gotten to the point where it just adds on to the frustrationAfter locking the device, when i try to unlock, using the top lock button, I just see blank screen, screen and keypad lit up thou. Sometimes when i restart my device, it won't display the blackberry logo and the progress bar, i just get the blank lit up screen. and after 5 - 10 minutes or so, i use random buttons on the keypad to get the display back, but nothing works. i just see blank screen and lit up keypad. Display would randonly get back but its a pain in the &&& to get the device display back after so many tries

May 28, 2012I bought a new Iphone 4s, Since the minute I activated it, it randomally turns itself on and off, locking the screen etc.
Sometimes it stopps for several hours, and then starts to lock again every five seconds. If i turn it off, it turns back on by itself.
I'm pretty sure the problem is with the "lock button", it sends signals even when i dont touch it at all.

May 19, 2014First post here. I just bought my z2 and I absolutely love it but am deeply disheartened and concerned by one problem I'm having which pretty much is the most important thing I need.

Almost every time I make a call - the mute, speaker, end call or other buttons get pressed while I'm talking. I've tried to make sure that the proximity sensor is covered by my ear and it still happens. I've also run the diagnostics and although they pass I've noticed that the vibration for the proximity sensor test does not always stay on if I put the phone up against my ear and move it around. Eventually the vibration turns off and some on screen buttons are pressed.

Oct 13, 2011I can't seem to turn off the "unlock" option on my Nokia X3 -02 phone.A few people have suggested changing my security settings, but that's not the problem. Every few minutes the phone locks automatically, then I have to slide the unlock option to get the phone operational.Isn't there any way to override this "lock". It's completely automatic, and very very annoying to have to unlock the phone every time I want to use it. I realize the lock is there to protect unwanted use, but I'd rather be responsible for that and not have the phone decide when to lock.
