So I have a 3gs running 4.0.1 jailbroken. I'm selling the phone tomorrow so I just did a phone reset and selected erase all data and contacts and such, and now when attempting to start up it freezes on the apple logo when the spinner thing is going around.Am I screwed and have to upgrade to 4.1 now? Tried to put into DFU mode and reinstall 4.0.1 but obviously apple doesn't allow that.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm probably gonna get flamed, but here goes.I have a 32 3GS that I jailbroke with Spirit for 3.1.3. I got my new iP4 and wanted to reset the phone with out getting away from 3.1.3 (so I could rejailbreak super easy for sale). I did "Reset all Data and Settings" under the settings menu. From what I understand, this would erase all music, videos, email accounts, texts, ect and also erase everything from the JB, themes, apps, mods, ect.
Basically reset it back to 3.1.3 stock, without using iTunes.I was under the impression this would take somewhere between 1 - 2 hrs. But the Apple logo and Progress Bar showed up, the Bar filled up after a minute or two and the phone restarted. It then sat at the Apple logo for over 10 minutes before I noticed. I assumed it was "bricked" and attempted to go into DFU mode. When I would hold down the SLeep and Home buttons the Apple Logo would disappear and phone would turn off, but then immediately attempt to restart without me doing anything. So DFU button combo didn't do anything, I also tried Recovery mode to no avail. Is sitting at the Apple Boot Logo forever supposed to be part of this process? Anything else I can do? I am thinking of letting the batt just die completely and recharging it and hoping that will break the endless reboot so I can DFU or Recovery mode the thing.
I have iphone 3gs, i have downloaded free games and apps from app strore installed and it was working fine. i even updated the games a couple of times. Two days ago I attempt to Reset-Erase all settings & Content of my phone. It was stuck with apple logo. till now. What to do? Now it is stuck there and when I connect it to my PC it does not appear there also.It is just charging and chargning only. when i disconnect it shows battery low.

So this morning I woke up to my phone on a boot loop on the Google Logo. I have no custom roms or mods on it other than I am running ART. I suspect it could be battery related as it will only seem to do this on the charger but when I don't have it plugged in it won't even start up. When it's plugged in it won't even seem to want to stay "off", it boots up to the google logo on its own. If I hold down the volume rocker I can get into the bootloader but it resets before I can select anything and boots right back into the google logo.

I have an iPhone 3GS, and yesterday it ran out of charge. I plugged it into my wall socket as normal, but all I got was the black screen with the apple logo, which disappeared after about 15 seconds. I have tried to hold down the home and on/off key together; to try and restore it, but nothing happened. I have tried to plug into my computer and open in iTunes, but iTunes does not find it. The only thing it appears to do when it is plugged into anything, is show the apple logo on the screen and then switch off after about 15 seconds.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI was updating my Iphone 5 to the new update and left it plugged in to finish the update. When I came back it was stuck on the white loading screen and a message on the computer said iTunes could not connect to the Iphone because it was locked with a passcode and wants me to enter the passcode. However I cannot enter the passcode because the phone won't let me. I cannot get the iphone to shut off or restart as my top button hasn't been very responsive lately.

It had been working fine until this morning when the iPhone is now stuck in the loop of restarting and stuck in the Apple logo screen.I have tried to hold both the sleep and Home button to reset. But, it just goes back to the same loop.Since the iPhone does not reach the Passcode screen, it is not even recognized by iTunes. So, I cannot restore it, either. How should I proceed?
I just reset my Iphone 4 using "erase all content and settings" option and it goes blank. I connected it to my computer and it only shows the apple logo, this has been going on for several hours now. I tried to hold the power and home button at the same time, the logo just go on and off and when I release the buttons the apple goes back again. The I-tunes doe not recognized my i-phone (it was not listed on the devices).

View 4 Replies View RelatedPhone has been working on and off. Occasionally it would get caught in the restart loop but now it is just getting stuck on the logo. I can get into recovery, factory rest, wipe caches but after doing all that still it gets stuck. The phone is unlocked and rooted..
ROM? was that used during the jailbreaking process?
Didnt attempt to OTA (?) it just started with this out of nowhere.
The phone is T-Mobile.
By "working on and off" i mean the phone was working perfectly fine up until like a month ago when it started occasionally falling into a reboot loop. I would resolved that by factory reseting, it will work for a few days then go into the restarting again. now, after falling into yet another restart situation, and factory reseting (like the 5th time), the phone is just stuck on the HTC logo. I am able to access ClockworkMod Recovery but nothing I do inside here works... Ive factory reset and emptied every emptyable cahe I see.
I installed lifetime free ovi maps on to N97 via computer and it worked initially. Then all of a sudden everything went black and phone restarted itself and since then it is stuck on the white screen with nokia logo.I have taken out battery umpteen times and everytime it is stuck. Won't go beyond this point.

My Nexus 5 which I have been using for 5 months without any issues has suddenly got stuck on the startup screen. This whole day it has just been showing the google screen and nothing I do would change it. I tried rebooting but that didn't work either.
View 10 Replies View Relatedmy mobile was working perfectly fine until I turned it off.And as soon as I turned it off, it got stuck on dim NOKIA logo screen. It vibrates when I slide the side switch. And also when I press the Menu button the Lock screen comes, but when I press the Unlock tab it goes back to NOKIA logo But doesnt do anything else... I really don't want to loose any data... If I wait until it runs out of battery (as the battery was also low, probablly 20-30% left) and then I plug the charger will it start working? I want to keep the hard reset as a very very last option...
