Dec 19, 2011I have a torch 9800 and had upgraded Os to 6.0.. I live in Virginia and use AT&T Wireless. I would get an error loading the program after reinstalling it. I had read about this issue and I decided not to worry about it and went on without those programs.Now..Today i no longer have app world? I uninstalled and reinstalled many times.Read many forums and even wiped the phone and reinstalled.still no app world. I do need assistance, as I had programs (installed thorugh app world) and would like to reinstall them.I currently have The Blackberry Torch 9800 3g, WiFi with the 6.0 Bundle 2647 (v6.0.0.600, Platform 6.6.0.223)

Oct 27, 2011Purcahsed 9810 on 10/25/2011 and have noticed if I open slider to use Qwery keyboard I will then lose the ability to use the virtual keyboard until I pull the battery. Also noticed that screen will no longer rotate. Bad device? Software issue in OS 7?

Mar 15, 2012When I doube tap the home button to use the camera from the home screen, it sort of 'hops' up about 1/2 a cm, but then bounces back down without opening the camera app, this is only since the upgrade to 5.1. I tried a hard reset, but no joy (and no shortcut to the camera either!!)

Feb 15, 2012I dropped my 9810 in cup of soda and have had it in a container of uncooked rice for 4 days.It's has completely dried out. I turn it back on for the first time, and all my new notifications appear, but unfortunately I cannot access them because my touchscreen function is not working nor is the select button working.I was hoping I would just turn my device back on and everything would be working as normal, but I guess that was wishful thinking.

Jan 19, 2011When I hit the lock button, my screen turns off, but turns back on only 5-10 seconds after by itself and then stays on until the battery dies. It does stay off if I insert it into a Blackberry belt holster, so as long as I leave it there, it's fine, but I want to take it out and not have the battery drain so quickly.
The only way I can ensure the screen is off when not in the holster is to power off, but I need my phone to be on 24/7 for business.

Aug 13, 2010I just found that it's not just OS6.It's better on BOLD because pressing "end" button while in Standby mode will just wake the device.Is there Standby mode in OS6? on Torch? When you are composing email/txt msg, once you touch the "send" icon on touchscreen the msg will just be sent immediately. I hate this because I might hit it randomly. Is there any way to add a confirmation window there?

May 11, 2012Recently my iPhone 4's lock button collapsed and it is now longer functioning. In reaction to this I visited the Genius Bar and they informed me that it could not be repaired and that I was required, due to my warranty being up, to pay £120 for a replacement. This was as much as I expected at the time. However, shortly afterwards the wifi connection stopped working and my iPhone can no longer sustain connection outwith 2m from the router.
I then phoned my insurance company with this problem, and they informed me that I willbe unable to claim for a replacement as it is a manufacturing defect and not damage. Despite my warranty being up, is there any grounds for argument that such a hardware defect, outside of my control, is reason to claim for a free or reduced price replacement from Apple? I am unsure where I stand. I have had this phone since May 2011 and it seems ridiculous that a phone that comes with a 2 month contract cannot last, without accident, for the same duration.
Galaxy S6 :: Long Press Home Button - No Longer Opens Up Voice Search
Jul 14, 2015I install an app on the playstore for remote control of kodi on my htpc computer , after uninstalling it , noticed when I long press and hold my home button It no longer opens up voice search, it opens google now cards page I then have to click on the mic button at the top to perform a voice search.
Is there a way to reset this ? , I uninstalled updates on google app cleared data ect , now when I press and hold my home button I only get these 2 options.
If I select "google" it opens google now page (same way as above)
Looking for a way tog et pack the long press home button and you can instantly start talking to the google voice .
I am stock rooted...
