IPhone 5s :: Siri Responds With Content Not Available?
Aug 29, 2014I have been using Siri since the beginning and the question "Show my brother" always would show his information.
Since yesterday Siri will show his name, but not his info.
Instead of the info I now see the message "Content not available"
Also the request "Call my brother" fails.
I have not modified the iPhone the last month (meaning new apps or iOS upgrade).Â
When I go to my brother's contact record manually all information is correctly displayed.Â
The same problems occur for my father's and sister's record.Â
Other relationships like mother, wife etc. work fine.Â
I restarted my iPhone but that didn't work.Â
I went to my own address record and deleted the relationship brother.
Then I recreated it by asking: who is my brother?
Siri asked for his name and I provided it.
Didn't work either...Â

May 8, 2012i have a iphone 4s with ios 5.1.1 the volume button on the side no longer works when you press up or down it just pops up the screen that says ringer and the volume image but wont change the volume. also where the volume is on apps like Internet is a black box and you cant change the volume or anything.

May 11, 2012Recently my iPhone 4's lock button collapsed and it is now longer functioning. In reaction to this I visited the Genius Bar and they informed me that it could not be repaired and that I was required, due to my warranty being up, to pay £120 for a replacement. This was as much as I expected at the time. However, shortly afterwards the wifi connection stopped working and my iPhone can no longer sustain connection outwith 2m from the router.
I then phoned my insurance company with this problem, and they informed me that I willbe unable to claim for a replacement as it is a manufacturing defect and not damage. Despite my warranty being up, is there any grounds for argument that such a hardware defect, outside of my control, is reason to claim for a free or reduced price replacement from Apple? I am unsure where I stand. I have had this phone since May 2011 and it seems ridiculous that a phone that comes with a 2 month contract cannot last, without accident, for the same duration.

Mar 14, 2012After updating my 4s to iOS 5.1, I can no longer turn it off. The slider only go halvway to the right and slip back by it self under my finger. The unlock slider behaves the same way. ITunes says that the phone is updated to the last version. There simcard has not been locked by the provider. Is this a bug in this software update?

May 13, 2012Every evening I turn off my iPhone 4 to let it charge. In the morning when I turn it on I always heard the notification chimes of incoming texts, voicemails, and emails. Now I just get incoming texts and voicemail. I don't receive incoming emails from Hotmail until I go into my mailbox. It asks me if I want to connect to a wifi signal. I say cancel. It searches and then it brings up my new emails.

Jun 27, 2012A few months ago, my sleep button randomly got jammed in and I can't press it. But now the home button is all of the sudden not working. The only way I can get my phone to turn on is if I plug it in or if I get a text, call, email, or other notification. My contract just expired a few days ago.. can it be fixed or should I upgrade to the 4S? How much would that cost?
I have read that you can buy a new sleep button and install the Assistive Touch but I am worried that I will break my phone if I try to install the top button.

Jul 14, 2015I install an app on the playstore for remote control of kodi on my htpc computer , after uninstalling it , noticed when I long press and hold my home button It no longer opens up voice search, it opens google now cards page I then have to click on the mic button at the top to perform a voice search.
Is there a way to reset this ? , I uninstalled updates on google app cleared data ect , now when I press and hold my home button I only get these 2 options.
If I select "google" it opens google now page (same way as above)
Looking for a way tog et pack the long press home button and you can instantly start talking to the google voice .
I am stock rooted...

Jul 11, 2010I haven't seen anyone having this issue out of the numerous ones I've seen on this site. My iPhone 4's screen was sometimes going black. Hitting the home or power button wouldn't turn it back on. I'd have to hold down the home and power buttons to do a hard reboot to get it back up.
I returned my phone yesterday to get replaced because I was also having the No SIM Card Installed error. My new iPhone 4 is having the same black screen issue occasionally, though.
