I'm running 6.0.1, rooted, xposed. When trying to change my profile picture or add a picture to any contacts, there is no longer an "apply" button. I can crop and everything like normal but once I'm finished I cannot select apply. I've tried uninstalling xposed with no luck.

I used to to be able to double tap to open camera and now it doesn't do anything at all. My power button to lock option in security is off. I'm on stock with elemental x kernel, with xposed. Idk if I accidentally enabled an option or disabled something in ex elemental kernel manager or limited a service in amplify that I shouldn't have.
And yes the double tap for camera is enabled in my settings and I cleared defaults too for the stock camera but nothing....
The 2 things for me is the fingerprint scanner takes just a bit longer to where the extra delay is noticeable, and my battery is draining a lot quicker than before.

All i want to know is there a way to make the restart button show up instead just power off when i press the power button? Don't wanna root this phone yet....
So, the 6P is a sodding big phone and I have fairly small hands.
Switching on to an unlocked state using the fingerprint reader is easy. Switching off requires the power button, which means wrestling the damn thing into a position where I can press the button.
I've looked at a few apps that switch off the screen with a shake or gesture, but these always result in a pattern request to unlock fully when turning back on with the fingerprint reader. Looking at this thread, it seems the Nova Launcher double-tap off function results in the same secondary security challenge when switching back on.
I assume this is because the third-party double-tap/shake/gesture event is only turning the screen off, not actually locking the device as the power button would.
Saw a post on reddit showing how the camera takes tilted/uneven pics (not level). I checked and sure enough I have the same problem. Here's the pic from that thread that shows the problem. Pic was taken level but you can see it's not level in the pic.
The strange thing appears to be that the tilt is consistent regardless of orientation, so is there hope that this means it's a software problem or should I contact google about an RMA? URL....
Have had my Nexus 5 for 4 days, and i noticed the other day that when i press the sleep button the power-down screen animation no longer happens. i dont really know the official term but it looks like an old CRT TV turning off, thats the best way i can describe it. so instead the screen just goes black. This really is not a problem just something i noticed and was curious about.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just finished updating my Iphone 4's firmware to iOS 5.1. I have all of my text messages, notes, contacts, and mail restored, but none of my music, videos, or any of my downloaded apps have been restored. I tried to manually restore them but the last backup didn't save music, videos, or apps only the texts, notes, and contacts. After checking and unchecking the sync apps, etc. box in itunes under my phone, itunes will update the amount of memory used on my iphone, but it doesn't actually sync anything. I have tried to manually manage my music and vice versa but still nothing.
Also, I cannot sync through wi-fi because even though the box is checked for it on iTunes, my phone is not recognizing. My main problem is that the apply button for my changed options on iTunes is NOT working aka greyed out. I don't want to call Apple support and pay a ridiculous amount for a problem that's probably easily fixed or restore my phone again. Also, I have tried restarting my phone, itunes, and my computer various times. I am running the latest version of iTunes, ios firmware, and I have a pc.

So I have been having an issue with my Hangouts no receiving picture msgs. Its as if Hangouts picks and chooses which ones it wants to allow. One notification says"new MMS message to download: size is 1265KB" followed by an expiration period. I click on download, but it keeps failing.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI've been looking for an app or xposed module but no luck. I've been out the Android game for awhile with the iPhone 6 but now I'm back. On the iPhone there is a tweak to allow you to have a guest mode button on the lock screen.
I find it to be more convenient when someone picks up my phone. They can enter guest mode without the back and forth handling.

I want to copy images from my phone to computer but what i have noticed is that it is not showing up all the images ! I have 697 images but it is showing only 297 images while connecting to PC. The images are there in Nexus 6P but it's not showing in PC. Tried both MTP and PTP, also tried removing and installing new device driver in PC.

When I attempt to edit a contact it asks me to use "com.android.contacts" or "com.google.android.contacts".
I'm not editing any contacts until it's fixed.
I have a rooted N5 and im running 6.0 build MRA58K and continue to get prompted to install a security update.My question is, is it safe to install this update, will i lose root or have to reroot? If i "unroot" the system with supersu and then install it after, would that work too? Also i would like to update my kernel to the newest version. Im running blu_spark build #30. Would i just reflash the kernel or do i have to jump through hoops by reflashing the rom first? I dont remember how it works.

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy touch screen has been playing up for several weeks nowWhen I try to touch the main screen it will select an area to the right of where I am touching, i.e. clicking the dial pad button will actually select the contacts button, clicking 'answer' on the keypad will put the caller on hold etc etc. Other times the scren will not respon at all.
The funny thing is, when I remove the phone's plastic casing, the touch screen works fine! Similarly, if i push the top part of the case to the sides (so it is not in contact with the digitiser) the touch screen will work again until my phone goes on lock and then when I unlock it the touch screen is stuffed again.
I'm not sure if this is a software or hardware problem. On one hand its as if the plastic casing of the phone is rubbing (putting pressure on) against the side of the touchscreen and causing it to not work (hardware) while on the other hand it could be software in that the problem keeps happening everytime the screen goes to sleep (it's not initialising right).The other problem which started at the exact same time is that the green button is not working sometimes when I try to answer calls or turn off my alarm.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should try? I've already done a hard reset. The next step is to buy a new digitizer/plastic case and see if that solves the problem.
