BB Curve :: Email Send Button No Longer Available?
May 19, 2011When I compose an email and after I've typed everything and added the address, when I want to send it my send button is missing, it worked fine till 2 months ago.

View 3 RepliesI used to be able to send emails no problem from my blackberry bold. However, I am no longer able to. When I go to send an email no "send" button is present only save draft. Even in full menu there is no send.

I can reply to older ones...I cn SMS and MMS.When I try to send...The only option offered is to "save as draft" and when I do...the email address is wiped or missing.
I'm on OS 5 Verizon.
I haven't changed any settings recently. I've pulled the battery several times.
I have an older iPhone.I can send an email to ONE address at a time from my gmail account address. Up until two months ago I was able to send emails from the iPhone to SEVERAL address at one time. The message I get is that the email address I am sending it to is not valid. When I click 'send anyway', it gives me the message "The mail server 'pop3.live.com' is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account into the Mail settings." And the iPhone sends the message to my Outbox. I try it several times but it won't go out until I delete all but one address.
Interestingly, when the email goes out to one person with a cc to me, then I can forward the cc message to more than one person.

Today the volume up button on right side of my Curve 8520 no longer works. Is there a fix? Is there another way I can control my volume when listening to music? I really don't want to replace my current Curve if I can.

Battery pull did not fix the issue.
I've had my Curve BB for over a month with little to no problems (it stopped 'pushing' to my custom email a couple weeks ago, but I researched and resent the service books, etc. and it worked fine after that). Now, however, it has dropped/removed my two custom email icons. Poof. Gone. One minute they were there, the next, gone. I've already checked to make sure they weren't hidden. They're not. I went into email setting again and it no longer even showed them as having been set up - one of them being my home email that is pushed to my BB and the second being my BB email itself.
When I try to reply to an email message on the new Bold 9900, I can't locate the Send button. All I can find is Save Draft. Is this a software glitch in the new OS or am I missing something obvious?

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy 8520's keyboard has started to play up.It wont send with the enter button on BBM.If I dont lock it and the screen goes black, i have to hold either the power button or the middle button to get the screen back.My alt button wont let me hold and type, I have to press it individually for each different symbol or letter.I've restored my whole phone but no difference.

I have registered my email address, (hotmail) and can send emails no problem. So far so good, except when I get a reply I get nothing on the blackberry but the replies are all in my hotmail inbox on my laptop. I have called geeks (carphone warehouse) and gurus at O2 and I have followed all their instructions. I managed to receive 1 email from my husband and then nothing since.

I went into email settings and sent the service books and that was no good. I reinstalled my O.S. and repeated the same process, and still no luck. My 8330 started acting up last night. Through my sprint.blackberry.net email I sent 5 to the same email address. I received the check mark stating they were sent successfully. 20 mins later or so my phone notifies me of a new email however there is not a new email, but now a red X in the email that just had the check mark. This happened multiple times. I tried resending the email and composing a new email and all scenarios were the same. Also, I was sent 4 emails last night from this same email address, none of which I received. I did 2 soft and 2 hard restarts throughout the course of the night nothing has changed. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it? I had this happen one other time, and I was to the point of smashing my phone. Email through my phone is the only way I have contact with certain people so this feature is VERY important to me.

It seems to have been setup in error. It appears in email settings as check box as whether or not to use it along with work email account that does work. The "desktop" account does not appear in the email set up wizard. How do I delete the "Desktop" account. I have attached the pictures.

After that I brought my device to BB centre in Indonesia ,upgraded my OS and they warned me I'll lose all the data inside my device, which is okay because I have my data backed up before After that they upgraded my device to version 5.0 bundle 1728.After finish restoring my data, I try to set my email (yahoo email account), and it prompt me to input a password... which I forgot what my password is (doh!).Then after that using my laptop, I reset my yahoo email account password, and set a new password. I'm surprised that when I try to set my email again it prompts me an error message : "Invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password. If the error persists, contact [URL]"Same problem when I try to login using yahoo messenger on my device, or my blackberry internet browser.
