Apr 13, 2012Two major issues occur after an upgrade to OS6.
1. Ever since the upgrade from OS5 to OS6, I've been getting memory issues when simply browsing the internet. U get the message "The memory available on your device is low. Please close some tabs." just reading the news.
2. This is urgent. I just updated my OS6 and now my e-mail doesn't even work. Whenever I try to set it up under e-mail accounts "internet mail account", it just freezes or closes.
I've looked at the possible go to "mobile.blackberry.com" and go to communications but I don't see that option available. I also tried battery pulling many times to restart my e-mail service. This is coming close for me in drawing the line for BlackBerry phones.

Jan 1, 2012I am using bb Curve 9300 right now but when I insert my card in bb bold 9780 (which I just bought, emails don,t work. It just asks me the passwords for my existing emails but when I enter my passwords, nothing happens. It asks me to log in again. I can't set up new emails on this phone. It doesn't give me option to set up new emails.

Jan 4, 2012I have the BB 9700 Bold and I've updated to the new operating system OS 6 because the BlackBerry Software Device in my laptop requested it. I've updated to the OS 6 and now I cannot setup my email accounts. Can't add or delete any account. I go to "Setup->Email Account" and when I press "Internet Mail Account" nothing happens and it goes back to the "Setup" menu! I need to install a new account in my blackberry!

i get to the point where you have to select the email pproviders.i select gmail, enter my account name, then my password, press ok and it sends me back to the email provider selection list.
my only option there is press back or option.but back just takes me back to the begoning without any of the options being save.

Dec 30, 2014i have a problem with my galaxy S5 ATT. so im using Netgear wireless n-150 router WNR 1000,its updated,but the problem was before the update and after the update it is the same. i'm using yahoo,gmail and comcast emails.i was able to setup yahoo email without any problems,i can send and receive emails from my phone when connected to wifi and without wifi. but i wasnt able to add to that stock email app my gmail account and comcast while i was connected to my wifi.it gave me error that it wasnt able to connect to the server to verify information.
So I tried to set it up on the mobile network and there was no problem. so now when i connected to wifi in my house i cant receive emails or send them using gmail and comcast email,yahoo account is working fine. i checked all the settings,i reset the router,still nothing.the funny part is if i download gmail app it is working without any problems.and if i connect to any other wireless router,all 3 emails work. also when i connect to my wifi, I'm getting internet and i'm able to open pages without any problems. So it should be some settings in the router probably ...

Messages - catchall for everything
Desktop email icon
2nd/personal email icon
However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?
BB Curve 8900 :: Trackball Doesn't Work
Mar 19, 2010So I got my first BB 6 months ago! I loved it I babied it! I never had a phone do so much keep me so entertained. Keep me so up to date with everything> I left the G1 for the BB and it was still much better I could contact friends I could not any other way with the BBIM. Then one day she died in her track ball! So I had to replace her. That was 2 months into the love affair I was having with the BB.
So I got the replace meant and it was harder than anything to tell her by. I could tell my wife by with ease but not her. I loved her! She was my best friend my companion I never left her behind! So many bars so many experiences SO MUCH TROUBLE ELIMINATED. But she had to go, Like a horse with a broke leg she was worthless!
So on to my second one not so much babying as I still thought of her predecessor. She could never be HER! I however gave here a chance! and we grew a bond unlike no other.
we were inseparable every where together only a handful of hungover days did I forget to bring her with me to work. I m,ade up for that many a time!
She finally committed suicide of the track ball as well. Following her predecessor. So I had to replace her again but this time I had new knowledge of how to use her while I waited. I also had a callous numbness to her loss from my first marriage to a BB! So I was not hurt or lonely!
So as I awaited my replacement BB Curve 8900. I did not care as soon as it arrived she was done she was gone to the wayside! I hope you can be refurbished but I can never trust you ever!
My new mistress arrived I opened her fondled her and loaded her with all I had! Only to find out I had been burned. She did not work for data. or incoming calls. She was a teasing *****! So back to my previous mistress! With no track ball while I fight for a free upgrade due to have gone through 3 BB 8900 in 6 months WTF

I do not believe that this is a "GPS" issue.
