I looked up on my schools website how to add their email account to the iphone, followed all the directions,,, didnt work... took it to the apple store.. they couldnt figure it out. im on summer break for 4 months so im not gonna go to my schools computer services... its an exchange email account apparently.

If the display is on, it works fine, but if the display is off, the smart action is not triggered. The smart action doesn't start or end if the display is off, it just stays in the mode it was in when the display was last on.I had a smart action that turned off a few things when the display is off, but I disabled that smart action and I still had the issue of the location based smart actions not triggering.

My school e-mail is weird because when I go inside everything looks exactly like gmail but it isn't exactly gmail beacuse you can't sign on from www.gmail.com. Gotta go through the school website. So, I had to replace my BB8530 with a like-new replacement after my LCD screen adhesive had dried, but now I'm stuck.See, I don't know how they did it, but when I first got my BB the salesman was able to easily sync my school email address to it, which is on a gmail server.(Kent State, for anyone interested/has it themselves)

1. Ever since the upgrade from OS5 to OS6, I've been getting memory issues when simply browsing the internet. U get the message "The memory available on your device is low. Please close some tabs." just reading the news.
2. This is urgent. I just updated my OS6 and now my e-mail doesn't even work. Whenever I try to set it up under e-mail accounts "internet mail account", it just freezes or closes.
I've looked at the possible go to "mobile.blackberry.com" and go to communications but I don't see that option available. I also tried battery pulling many times to restart my e-mail service. This is coming close for me in drawing the line for BlackBerry phones.
I am using bb Curve 9300 right now but when I insert my card in bb bold 9780 (which I just bought, emails don,t work. It just asks me the passwords for my existing emails but when I enter my passwords, nothing happens. It asks me to log in again. I can't set up new emails on this phone. It doesn't give me option to set up new emails.

i've been trying to set up an email account on my e72 but i can't seem to get it right
i get to the point where you have to select the email pproviders.i select gmail, enter my account name, then my password, press ok and it sends me back to the email provider selection list.
my only option there is press back or option.but back just takes me back to the begoning without any of the options being save.
It's a couple of days my phone doesn't sync and download new emails. I switched to Aquamail and it's working. I can't understand what happened to the stock email app

So I tried to set it up on the mobile network and there was no problem. so now when i connected to wifi in my house i cant receive emails or send them using gmail and comcast email,yahoo account is working fine. i checked all the settings,i reset the router,still nothing.the funny part is if i download gmail app it is working without any problems.and if i connect to any other wireless router,all 3 emails work. also when i connect to my wifi, I'm getting internet and i'm able to open pages without any problems. A couple days ago, this happened, but it did not work after many force restarts. I restored it to factory settings, and I got to the part where it says to let your phone restart, but after it did, the iPhone turned off and now it will not turn back on. iTunes cannot see it and I have tried charging it and it does not work. From time to time, I experience that my Xperia X10 does not automatically sync e-mail accounts (using the supplied/standard e-mail application). I've set up a number of e-mail acocunts (6) with different update rates ranging from 15 to 60 minutes. I can go in to one of the accounts, whereby it syncs and I can see that I have received a number of new e-mails (for a period more than 6-12 hours, without receiving any type of notification.
This is really annoying since I miss important emails. What can be done to ensure that they sync automatically and that I receive notifications?

When I started going through the Set Up process on the phone itself, it asks me to enter my Apple ID so I can set up iCloud, App Store, etc, on my phone. But the bottom portion of my touchscreen doesn't work. So I can not type in my Apple email address, I can not switch the keyboard to numbers, since that bottom part of the screen doesn't work. I tried turning it sideways, but it stays vertical. So I can't even touch "Skip this step", since it's on the bottom part of the screen also. Now I can not send or receive calls or even use my phone! Is there any way to bypass this setup on my phone? Or set it up on my computer instead of the phone? I can't believe it won't even let me receive calls - do I really need to set up iCloud to receive phone calls?
