A couple days ago, this happened, but it did not work after many force restarts. I restored it to factory settings, and I got to the part where it says to let your phone restart, but after it did, the iPhone turned off and now it will not turn back on. iTunes cannot see it and I have tried charging it and it does not work. It had iOS 5.1.
My Dad's having an issue with his iPhone 5. The cellphone won't turn on. This happened after he turned it off one day.Â
He's tried pressing home button and power button, but that doesn't work either. He believes that the phone has too little free memory for iOS to boot.Â
So we are just wondering if there is a way he can backup the photos/contacts in that case?Â
I bought my unlocked iPhone 4S in Maryland in January. I have been using the phone in India since the past couple of months and now my camera hardware doesn't work for no fault of my own (apparently it's due to humidity). Apple Support India will not repair a phone that's not bought in India, and I won't be returning to the US for another few months. What should I do?
P.S. Paid $650 instead of $200 so I could use this phone anywhere in the world but what they didn't tell me that I couldn't fix it anywhere in the world (were something to go wrong.)
I made a backup of my N8, thereafter a reset back to factory settings and re-installes the backup to the phone. Now... when pushing the camera buttom og icon nothing happens. It goes into black for a few sec and the back to menu
About a week or two, I have changed some configurations on the GPS Status(like Sensor Filter and such) and the GPS was taking too long to connect, in the same places that it got a lock time around 15s, now it takes 2 min, só I did a factory reset and the GPS worked good again.About 3 days ago, the GPS started to take too long for get a lock, around 2~3min, and I did a reset again, but doesn't work. I tried it many times again and still doesn't work.My phone is with the last update(via PC Companion) and I've tried a repair(via PC Companion too) with the SIM and SD cards, but don't solved my problem too. What can I do?I think thatits not hardware, because before it was working pretty well, I think that is software.Oh...I tried to turn off the phone disconnect the battery cable(under a rubber cover) for about 5 minutes and reconnect, but still the same. What can I do to solve this problem? Now the GPS cant get a lock, it find the satellites(5~7) but don't get a lock.
yester evening, I made a backup of my N8, thereafter a reset back to factory settings and re-installes the backup to the phone. Now... when pushing the camera buttom og icon nothing happens. It goes into black for a few sec and the back to menu
My iMessage doesn't work. So I restored my phone to original settings and it started to work again. And then yesterday it stopped again. It turned green and won't turn blue again.
I tried to make a hard reset to my NokiaC6-00.I used this code: *#7370#.Then 12345 for the security code. After that, A black screen showed in my Nokia and the green, white and red light turned on.I waited for 5min and nothing happens, so I removed the Battery then insert it again. Now when i press the Power button i feel the vibration but nothing happens.
it comes to black screen and have no reaction when i touch the screen, but iinstalled some camera application , i still works with those apps, but the quality is not good as default camera app.
I have Nokia 6210 Navigator. A few days ago, it's screent started to go pink, rend etc. and the image on the screen was shaking. And one day later, it turned off itself and now I can't turn it on. When I press the turn on button, screen's light are ok,but there are no Nokia logo etc. 3-4 seconds later it turns off automatically.
Around a week ago when I turned my motorola quench on I found that a bunch of settings were reset including the passcode lock and my choice to use the swype keyboard. Although I was able to change those back easily enough, my home button since then does not work. In order to close an app, I now have to use the back button (which means losing my pages if I am in a web browser). The command for pressing the home button twice still works.
Recently updated my iPhone 4 to ios 7.1.2. Currently my worst problem: instead of going into sleep mode, the phone turns off completely. I then cannot turn the phone back on with the sleep/wake button. To turn the phone back on, I need to do a hard reboot each time by holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously. I have tried going into settings/general/reset and selecting "reset all".
I got a blackberry storm from my friend about 2 weeks ago. When I got it, it worked perfectly, I personalized eveyrthing and I loved the phone. However, this week I was at work and I'm pretty sure the phone died. The red light stayed on, and when I was charging it in my car, it wouldn't hold a charge. It didn't turn on for 2 days, other than the white screen with the battery. I did a few battery pulls and left it plugged in. Now, it turns on when it wants to but the touchscreen realizes that my finger is there, but it doesn't click. What should I do? I took it to verizon and since I don't have insurance on it, they won't give me a new one.
The autoturn option is not working anymore. I've tested the gyroscope, accelerator and they are just fine yet the autoturn is not available for usage. I've also rebooted my phone turned on in safe mode and nothing seems to work.
My iphone password screen will not accept my password. It doesn't work. How do I disable the password or reset it? This is the password that comes up after you slide the arrow to open the phone on the home screen. I have upgraded to the IOS 5 software
I was at a party and used my phone for a few minutes 4 hours ago and there was no problem. Battery was 78%. After a while I realized my phone was not turning on. After coming back home I connected it to the wall charger and the light is blinking red. When I hold the start button there is a red light constantly but it won't turn on. Holding volume up and start button also doesn't work and there is no vibration. I tried the yellow reset button near the SIM tray and that didn't work either. My phone had a 16 GB built in memory which was pretty used up (It kept telling me transfer to SD card since memory was above 75%). I was going to buy a microSD card for it but now this happened. Is there something I can do to fix my phone?Â
when i turn on my Nokia 5530 XM i get an eror : "Home screen: function doesn't work on this device" . What's the reason of this error and maybe i could fix it on my own?
As soon as I restore iphone 4 firmware in itune, the power turn off and doesn't turn on again thought I press the power .It seems dead.Hardware damage?
It's my boyfriend's iPhone & we've dropped it plenty of times in the past going on 6 months now, so you can imagine it has plenty of cracks & the back had come off to where we taped it back on. Recently - a few days to a week ago I dropped it & it seemed fine until I tried taking a picture of our cats and the camera opened to a black screen. Everything else works fine except the speaker when we call out we have to put it on speaker for someone to hear us - already tried cleaning out all the ports. I don't want him to go to the iPhone store and have them complain about all the issues wrong with the phone and go extreme bill on him either. Yes I have tried restarting his phone, I just don't want to completely reboot it when it's under his mom's account & her iCloud. & The front facing camera works.
My iPhone4 doesn't turn on. What should I do? I spoke to someone, pressed end after we completed our call. I then looked at the screen an hour later and it doesn't turn on or respond to any touches. The electrical outlet isn't able to power it on, neither is my Macbook. What should I do?
I tried to charge my phone using my Apple Charer as well as connecting it to my MacBook Pro with a different wire, but it still doesn't turn on. It doesn't even show a charging symbol either.
Last week I restored my iphone 5 and I also updated it, it worked normally but the only problem was that battery was dying pretty fast. After charging it I turned it off and after a day when I tried to turn it on again it just didn't want to do that. I thought that battery died, I tried to charge it but there was no signs of charging, I tried turning it on, even pressed home button and power button but nothing was appearing, it was completely dead. Earlier I took it to this store and tried to change the charger and also to check if it was the battery but even after that phone stayed dead. I don't know what could be the problem. I tried everything. I can't turn it on, power-home button is not working obviously, when I try to connect it to itunes it doesn't recognize it at all (like it is not even connected), I tried changing usb and battery and still nothing.
My iPhone 3G is being recognised perfectly happily by iTunes, but absolutely nothing else. It doesn't appear in Finder and doesn't open iPhoto when I plug it in, so I can back up my photos.
I've tried restarting both the Mac (which is running Snow Leopard) and the iPhone. I've tried several cables. The result is always the same. iTunes spots the iPhone (it did use to automatically open iTunes, but I stopped that) and nothing else. No icon on the desktop, no appearance in Finder and won't show in any searches I do.
How can I fix this, and start backing up photos again?
