Asha 30/40 Series :: 6210 Navigator: Reset Doesn't Work Out?
Oct 15, 2011
I have Nokia 6210 Navigator. A few days ago, it's screent started to go pink, rend etc. and the image on the screen was shaking. And one day later, it turned off itself and now I can't turn it on. When I press the turn on button, screen's light are ok,but there are no Nokia logo etc. 3-4 seconds later it turns off automatically.
Lately I've noticed that the pictures that I take with my phone aren't as good as they used to be. When I took a close look at the camera lens, I noticed that there appeared to be dust on the lens. Does anyone know how to remove the lens for cleaning, or is there another way of removing the dust?
I had tried all the possible ways to make Nimbuzz works on my asha 303 but nothing out..The app runs but can't connect .. Reinstall it don't help ! Reset or hard reset mobile don't help either .Is here any one had run it successfully before on asha 303?
If my MP3 Player is running while I'm downloading, the phone will crash & shut down, the GPS loses signal, I cannot install Nokia OVI Maps 3. The phone loses signal while I'm on the internet, etc. Does anyone know where I can get a change log for the Nokia Firmwares? I'm currently using v05.501 & I'm still experiencing the problems. Nokia Maps v3 doesn't want to install either?
I have a nokia 6210 navigator and I can't get it to connect to my PC by the USB cable. It worked fine about a week ago and now it won't connect. I have updated the software and it still won't connect, when I plug the lead in to the phone it says "USB connected in PC suite but the PC suite dose not recognise the phone. When I try to connect within the PC suite it still doesn't find the phone.
I'm the rather disgruntled owner of a Nokia 6210 Navigator and have recently learnt about the free navigation offered by Ovi Maps for selected phones. I contacted Nokia's Careline in Australia only to find they were not even aware that it was possible to get a free navigation version, and point blank argued with me until I provided them a link to show otherwise. As per norm, Nokia fails to provide good customer service, however having read the forums somewhat, I am hopeful that the moderators here might be my salvation.
I'm wondering if there is a list of phones that the free navigation may be added to? I'm also on a 3 mobile (Orange in the UK I think) with vendor specific firmware, if this isn't up to par, is there anything I can do? Are there any work arounds to enable support for my 6210 Navigator? Having been a nokia user for the past 10 years, I have been very frustrated by the lack of support provided customers, if I may; Moderators - convince me to stay with Nokia.
I can't install Nokia Sport Tracker on my Nokia 6210 Navigator because it gives me an error certificate. So, trying to update my cellphone, it does not have new update.? Nokia 6210 Navigator (RM-367) Micrologiciel: 3.25.124.04 (22 oct 2008) Code: 0569996. Looking the both same phone of my parents (Both RM-367), the version is higher 5.something and mine stays at 3.25 without any update... since 2008??
Ovi Suite and Pc Suite doesn't offer me any update. I'm desesperate (I've past a few days looking in google without solutions (for example changing the date of the phone, or configurate the application manager (all, no control online of the certificates,...) Nothing nothing... I'm thinking about flashing it with an updated software, ultimate action of a desperate man. it's strange that a mobile "updated" can't install a program from Ovi Suite.
I went to Download page http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/mail-for-exchange/compatibility-and-download#60 and there Nokia says me that my 6210 Navigator is "Certified Device" and offers me version MailForExchange(2.9.158)_S60_3_1.sisx.
But, when I try to confirm installation on the cell, I get a "The Mail Exchange software you are trying to install is not compatible with the device" and then sends me back to look at the same web page I downloaded from.
I`ve tried to upgrade my Nokia 6210 Navigator from Nokia maps 2.0 to Ovi maps 3.01 but it. Doesnít seems to work. If i try to upgrade it with the old Nokia map updater it just says: Cannot get enough information about the phone unspecified error. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? I also get a error message when i try to use this file that ovikovi posted (http://static.s2g.gate5.de/nokiamaps client/nokia_ maps_3.01_09wk44_b01_s60_3.1_lm_rom.sis). The error message that shows up in the phone is: It doesnít work to install this file, the unit is built in! And in Ovi Suite it says: The file is in use. Another application is using nokia_ maps_3.01_09wk44_b01_s60_3.1_lm_rom.sis /Iīve also tried to uninstall the version og Nokia maps that is installed on the phone but that doesnít seems to be an option ! Any one who has a clue of something that can solve my problem?

My nokia 2710 navigation edition, 5-months-old doesn't boot anymore since this morning. Everything was ok last night, then suddenly this morning something went wrong. It was stucked after the screen with the 2 hands. So i tried to remove battery, and now after reboot is stucked on date/time screen. I tried to remove memory card, sim card, nothing. I tried to connect it to pc to restore it with ovi, the symbol of usd appears on the phone but the pc can't see the phone.
I bought a Nokia C3-01 touch and type last year in the beginning of June. It's been a bit funny from time to time, but near Christmas it turned itself off and the camera stopped working. In January, the touchscreen started to become unresponsive and difficult to operate, to the point where I am often unable to get into the phone. And typing a text / navigating around the menu is an absolute nightmare. I've tried to calibrate the screen, but that doesn't help, as it doesn't recognise that it's being touched sometimes.I haven't dropped the phone or got it wet. I don't use the internet on it either, so I presumably can't have a virus.Would it still be under warranty? I've had nothing but trouble with it and it certainly reinforces the notion of 'buy cheap, buy twice'.
my 5130 XM camera is not working.it shows (camera on standby)when i press continue it does not work.it,s volume keys are also not working.please do somethingModerator's note: We have changed the title into a subject-related title. Tried to answer a call & the phone went dead. Tried to charge but it just beeps in cycles. Tried another battery & it's the same. The phone powers on to the Nokia hands but as soon as the time/date screen appears, the keypad can't set it. Then the screen locks after a few seconds & can't be unlocked. Despite the battery being fully charged it displays as near empty. When started without a SIM the OK button works to accept startup
whenever I try to open the music player it doesn't open, showing "operation failed". And also when I open any music file, it shows the same. I've already updated the firmware also. But this issue came after that only.
A couple days ago, this happened, but it did not work after many force restarts. I restored it to factory settings, and I got to the part where it says to let your phone restart, but after it did, the iPhone turned off and now it will not turn back on. iTunes cannot see it and I have tried charging it and it does not work. It had iOS 5.1.
