After updating my 4s to iOS 5.1, I can no longer turn it off. The slider only go halvway to the right and slip back by it self under my finger. The unlock slider behaves the same way. ITunes says that the phone is updated to the last version. There simcard has not been locked by the provider. Is this a bug in this software update?

after updating my iphone to ios 5.1.1, i no longer have sound. i have checked to make sure the sound options are on, and they are. the side buttons don't even allow me to increase/decrease volume. when i try to play music from my ipod/spotify/Internet etc. there is no sound, and there is no volume bar at the bottom of the screen. i am not sure what to do.

Every evening I turn off my iPhone 4 to let it charge. In the morning when I turn it on I always heard the notification chimes of incoming texts, voicemails, and emails. Now I just get incoming texts and voicemail. I don't receive incoming emails from Hotmail until I go into my mailbox. It asks me if I want to connect to a wifi signal. I say cancel. It searches and then it brings up my new emails.

I finally decided to update my iPhone 5s to 7.1.1 today, and now my iPhone is completely irresponsive. At first the iPhone had the "preparing update" screen up, so I figured I'd play some video games as I waited. After about 10-15 minutes I checked my phone again and it wouldn't turn on. I tried pressing and holding both the home button and the power button, but the screen remained dark and non responsive. I then plugged it into my wall charger, only to get the same black screen. This is the first time I've updated iOS on my iPhone as it is relatively new, but from what I can remember with my iPod Touch 5 it did not shut the entire system down when I updated it. Should I be concerned or is this normal for updating?

After updating my Nexus 5 to Marshmallow, I can no longer hang up the phone. The screen stays black when I move it away from my face. I have to unlock my phone or wait for the other person to hang up. Also, the screen doesn't always go to sleep anymore when it should.

View 12 Replies View RelatedSo I updated to the latest software available on my Z3 from Sony a few days ago (23.4.a.1.264) then on Friday the WiFi and Bluetooth completely stopped working, I couldn't connect to my pebble and my data started to get eaten up.
Since then, I plugged it into the computer, backed up the data then ran a system repair through Sony PC companion to no avail, and booting into safe mode does nothing either.
For some reason I am no longer able to turn on Bluetooth on on my Atrix. When I turn it on, it looks like it is turning on but then the widget and/or settings panel check box go back to the off state.
I've tried rebooting but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I've seen other posts which recommend a factory reset but I would prefer to not do this as I only factory reset my phone about a week ago.
How can I turn off voicemail to allow my phone to ring for longer... I have tried "cancel" in settings > Voicemail to no avail.

I TRIED updating my nokia 5230 by using OVI suite and during update my nokia 5230 suddenly turned off and updating stopped. I disconnected usb cable and tried to turn on the set but it wont turn on. It's my boyfriend's iPhone & we've dropped it plenty of times in the past going on 6 months now, so you can imagine it has plenty of cracks & the back had come off to where we taped it back on. Recently - a few days to a week ago I dropped it & it seemed fine until I tried taking a picture of our cats and the camera opened to a black screen. Everything else works fine except the speaker when we call out we have to put it on speaker for someone to hear us - already tried cleaning out all the ports. I don't want him to go to the iPhone store and have them complain about all the issues wrong with the phone and go extreme bill on him either. Yes I have tried restarting his phone, I just don't want to completely reboot it when it's under his mom's account & her iCloud. & The front facing camera works.
