IPhone 5s :: IOS 8.0.2 / It Won't Turn On After Updating Software

I was trying to update the new software on my iphone 5s and all the sudden it turned off! and said I had to connect to iTunes and so I did but it kept giving me errors and I kept trying to reboot it with the home and the top button but it wasn't working then it said that I had to restore to factory settings and so I did! then it turned on for like half an hour then I lost it! I tried everything and its the battery was full and I still couldn't get it back!!
I finally decided to update my iPhone 5s to 7.1.1 today, and now my iPhone is completely irresponsive. At first the iPhone had the "preparing update" screen up, so I figured I'd play some video games as I waited. After about 10-15 minutes I checked my phone again and it wouldn't turn on. I tried pressing and holding both the home button and the power button, but the screen remained dark and non responsive. I then plugged it into my wall charger, only to get the same black screen. This is the first time I've updated iOS on my iPhone as it is relatively new, but from what I can remember with my iPod Touch 5 it did not shut the entire system down when I updated it. Should I be concerned or is this normal for updating?
After updating my 4s to iOS 5.1, I can no longer turn it off. The slider only go halvway to the right and slip back by it self under my finger. The unlock slider behaves the same way. ITunes says that the phone is updated to the last version. There simcard has not been locked by the provider. Is this a bug in this software update?
i was updating my 5130 (bought 3 yrs ago) when suddenly it shut off, then i read it was part of the update...until it never turn on.totally off.everytime i pressing the power button, not even a light or whatsover comes out.i charged it but still nothing happened. i tried my friend's battery (same model) still nothing happened.

I TRIED updating my nokia 5230 by using OVI suite and during update my nokia 5230 suddenly turned off and updating stopped. I disconnected usb cable and tried to turn on the set but it wont turn on. I tried to recharge it and restart it but it also didnt work. Now its still off and I don`t know what to do anymore.
I have a model N900 and the problem is.Four days ago I was updating software for my N900 on Nokia.com site and, when the updating was finish my N900 goes to restarting again and again, until I remove a battery! I tried to turn on the phone but PROBLEM was same!RESTARTING constantly.Please does anybody know, how to fix this PROBLEM and is it maybe a factory error?
As soon as I restore iphone 4 firmware in itune, the power turn off and doesn't turn on again thought I press the power .It seems dead.Hardware damage?
It's my boyfriend's iPhone & we've dropped it plenty of times in the past going on 6 months now, so you can imagine it has plenty of cracks & the back had come off to where we taped it back on. Recently - a few days to a week ago I dropped it & it seemed fine until I tried taking a picture of our cats and the camera opened to a black screen. Everything else works fine except the speaker when we call out we have to put it on speaker for someone to hear us - already tried cleaning out all the ports. I don't want him to go to the iPhone store and have them complain about all the issues wrong with the phone and go extreme bill on him either. Yes I have tried restarting his phone, I just don't want to completely reboot it when it's under his mom's account & her iCloud. & The front facing camera works.

My iPhone will not respond to anything. It will not turn on or off with the power button. The home button is not responding. When I hook up my iPhone to charge, there was not even a sound it made when hooking it up. What should I do? I have thought about hitting the power button and the home button at the same time to maybe reset it...does that work?
My phone went dead , I think battery was completely flat , now the phone is off , the screen won't even show the battery sign. How can I turn it back on ?
I replaced my iPhone 4 yesterday at the Apple store and they gave me a new one with version 4.0. Well, I want to update my phone only to 4.0.1..not 4.0.2. Is there a way this can be done without going to 4.0.2 through itunes or anywhere else?
I have went to an apple store for iOS upgrade in my iPhone 3GS. They told me that I have to pay Service Charges for upgradation..!!Do i have to pay for upgradation of iOS as the device is still under warranty?
I'm trying to update my iPhone from 4.0 to 5.01. When I go through the process of backing up and then downloading the new version, I get the following response: "The iPhone could not be updated because the firmware file is not compatible".
The reason that I am doing this in the first place is that I recently got a "personal hot spot" for my new iPad. I'm told that I can't access my "personal hot spot" with the older version thus the attempt to update.
Heard about OS4 from apples own website, which states the 3gs can update to OS4, yet when i update it only shows version 3.1.3?does anyone know what the reason for this might be and how can i solve this problem?
so i tried to update a jailbroken/unlocked iphone from os 3.01 to 3.1.3 and i keep getting "unknown error 1604, unknown error 2006, and unknown error 9. these errors happened when i tried to update it and restore it from recovery mode. need help!
Whenever i update an app and (in the app store) there is a new icon.. i never actually get the new icon it stays the same as the one i previously had..the only app that updates the icon for me is Pocket God and i know that there is a problem because in the description for the app's update it says "new icon"arrgh i dont kow if this is making any sense, but is there any way to make sure your apps have the most recent app icons? I'm using and iPhone 4 running 4.0
iPhone 3GS, 32 GB, nearly full memory (only 0.58 GB free, although there was 3.6 GB of 'other' memory in the bar shown in iTunes).
Started the update from iOS 5.01 to iOS5.1, downloaded to phone OK, phone rebooted, now it's stopped at the point where the silver apple is shown with an empty progress bar.
The phone does show up in iTunes at this point, correct serial number / phone number, but shows the entire memory bar full with the yellow 'Other' memory category.
The phone won't finish booting, can't get to the user screens on the phone.
