my iPhone 4 will no longer charge. It is also not recognised in iTunes. There seems to be a problem with the connector slot. I've tried other cables and other computers/plugs but the connection is not being made.
It seems to me that the connection port is faulty.

HI my 4 S doesn't take the charge any longer, and sometimes when I turn it off and plug it, it takes a little bit of charge but doesn't hold it long, and the phone get super hot. What should I do to fix that problem, I have donwload all the last version and the phone is only a few months old.

my iphone 4 has died after running out of battery and now will no longer charge. I have tried different plugs and different cables, held both home and power button, left it in to charge for several hours. Nothing.
When I was charging it previously before it stopped working it kept stopping and recharging again, I could tell this as every few moments it vibrated twice as the phone does when you put it in to charge on silent. I was trying to sleep and I just gave up and stopped it. Since then it's just given up. It's not jailbroken and has suffered no damage and I believe it's on the latest version of iOS.
My iPhone 5 is over heating on charge and it is no longer showing anything on the screen. I was using it when the screen went white and it hasn't worked since. I have tried to both restart it and to restore it. as the screen doesn't not work it is hard to tell the condition of the phone. However it occasionally makes the lock noise when pushing the lock button and also occasionally vibrates when operating the side switch. I can not leave it plugged in on charge as it gets very hot and it is no longer recognised in iTunes unless i put it in recovery mode.Â

I am posting here because all of a sudden, 3 days after purchasing the phone (Nokia 5530 XpressMusic), it will no longer charge. I plug the charging cable into the phone but nothing happens ! (I charged the phone yesterday and everything was working fine).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my S6 the week it came out, so I've had it for a decent amount of time, without any problems until last week. One day I experienced a sharp battery drain, and plugged it in my PC to charge. To my surprise it wouldn't charge! It shows that it's charging, but it wont go up in charge. The only way to charge it now is with its own fast charger. I fiddled with it a bit, (cleared cache, uninstalled apps, etc. ) and I can say the battery drain problem seems to be fixed for now. But I'm still unable to charge it up via the PC (or a laptop) USB port.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a bug with my Nexus battery that no longer charge, the temperature of the battery is rated for -30 C but it does not recharge, whether in the ROM, the recovery, the bootloader , I ' have already connect - disconnect the battery several times but still nothing , I wonder if the fact that the phone has heated yesterday (CPU at ~ 85 C for 1 H) have damaged the sensor , I would like disabled or ignore it to allow charging of the phone.It happen once already , I just disconnected - reconnected the battery and it was gone, but here it does not work again.

Basiclly I am running corparte sync to Exchange and nothing else right now. I was running a live wallpaper and weather (turned off when battery would die) and same result no matter what I run. Heavy phone use or no phone calls. At my house I have a microcell, but work is low signal. Also Corp HQ where I spend 1 week a month has full H+ connection. All seem to last about 8 hours at all three locations. AT&T gave me a new battery and I have wiped 2 times in the last 2 weeks.

Now look at the pics, Display seems really high. I am on auto brightness, and have a screen lockout of 2 minutes. This screenshot was from 6 hours of use. No phone calls, vibrate and no signal when picture was taken. Display was used 28 minutes of 6 hours of use.
AT&T just tells me to either wipe device or turn of push on snyc. 8 hours is not right for a new phone with no calls and light use.
My E51 is jjust over two years old and will no longer hold a charge beyond about 30 hours
I have: replaced the battery, do not use Bluetooth, do not scan for wireless networks, cleaned the battery poles, removed the memory card on a trial basis, updated the firmware to the latest version. What else can I do besides return it to Nokia?
Our last nokia phones outlasted their shells over 5 years before we decided to replace them. This e51 has been great until now. Considering moving to another manufacturer.
My nexus 5 sometimes shows 1hours 40 minutes which is the exact time it should charge from 0 to 100 but sometimes it shows 3 hrs sometimes 2hr sometimes 6 hrs.I have a sony 5000 mah power bank. when i connect my nexus 5 to that with nexus 5 usb cable it still shows the same problem. I have connected a couple of chargers but still same problem.

So my iphone 3gs 16 gig would not charge. Tried it in the computer and wall charger. i read online and most answers was to get a new batterie. Since my iPhone battery was already bad i bought a new one. I installed it right and it started up. However i pluged it in and it would still not charge. I just picked up two new nokia icons off ebay.. it was listed as new at least.. came in a box etc..
If i plug it in to charge.. it charges at about 1% per hour if that.. turn the screen on and it drops several percent,. use it unplugged and it rapidly discharges maybe 15% or more in a very short period of time.
Im guessing i got a bad batch?
Its very odd that both phones exhibit the same behavior.. and just for kicks i left 8.1 on one and put 10 on the other.
I have a Bold 9000 and it is draining the battery very quickly doesnt even last a few hours with a couple of calls and when its flat will only charge if I take out the battery and put in on a universal charger it wont charge with the blackberry mains charger, car charger or usb connection.I have bought two new batteries and all the same thing, turned off all applications I can see.The phone was bought new from an ebay seller in December and I cant get any response now from them and they are no longer on ebay.I have seen something about updating the system.

I then went to move my phone plus charger upstairs so i could charge it overnight, plugged it in with the same charger it worked with earlier and no sign of charging. After updating my 4s to iOS 5.1, I can no longer turn it off. The slider only go halvway to the right and slip back by it self under my finger. The unlock slider behaves the same way. ITunes says that the phone is updated to the last version. There simcard has not been locked by the provider. Is this a bug in this software update?

I downloaded the new IOS upgrade over the wknd and this may be a coincidence, but I can no longer get a screenshot by pressing power, then menu. I have the iPhone 4s for reference.
