I have an iPhone 3gs 16g white that I bought used and therefore no longer under warranty. Last night he started to get very little phone line and even in places where before now took up the message "service unavailable" how can I fix this?

I have recently purchase nokia x6 from dell.com. When I start Ovi maps navigations, it takes a while to connect to the sattelite and it takes aroung 10-15 minutes. Once it is connected, it is cool. It did not bother me for couple of planned trips, but when I'm lost, I have to pull over and wiat for it to connect and start. I've updated ovi maps and the phone software as well.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo the update is available for the UK phones and I updated my 5530 to the v.20 firmware. Unlike what most users say that the phone is faster, I dont really find that to be the case. When I startup, it takes awhile longer. Sometimes the wallpaper appears and then disappears and then reappears again with the contacts bar and everything. The problem really seems to be the home screen. Every time I go back to the home screen or click on menu, theres a black line in the center, a flash n nothing happens or a flash n it works. Sometimes, the flash is not there and the menu just opens up. I dont really know how to explain that, but I hope uve got an idea of what i'm saying. I'm wondering if I should soft reset.
View 7 Replies View RelatedNeed some help, recently just bought a Bold 9700 and it was doing fine i.e. browsing, instant message (IM) and emails, but problems surface recently my phone went thru a software upgrade.Problem: device takes longer to register to BIS even though the network sservice status showed "BIS connected via mobile network", I cannot browse, IM or even email...
- I tried to register all the numbers in my HRT but not able to recieve the registration email, only after almost 30mins or so...
- also i realised i have many items in my HRT containing GPRS SG... and Wi-Fi... is this normal?
The 2 things for me is the fingerprint scanner takes just a bit longer to where the extra delay is noticeable, and my battery is draining a lot quicker than before.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs this the same as an upgrade swap? I actually talked to ATT via online chat, and they said once an iPhone 4 is ordered, its stuck to that line. But im pretty sure thats not true.So I want to add a line with iPhone 4 then once I receive her, put it on my primary line, use a dummy phone on the new line, and cancel data on the new line. It works out because I need a new line anyway, I have unlimited data on my primary line, and it saves me some $$ in getting the iPhone at full discount price.
The only thing I was worried about was being able to cancel data, but the ATT rep said I can cancel data at any time. And to order online, I would need to add the single line to my account and order it, once I receive it then I can switch to family plan.Will I need to do the same call ATT and give them IMEI's of everything to swap? Anyone done something similar?
My wife's line isn't eligible for an early upgrade. AT&T wants 599 for an iPhone 4. Has anyone thought about. Doing this if you're in my shoes? Add a new family line and get an iPhone 4 for 199 and port out your old line and get an early termination fee of around $100 since she has had the phone for a year. Therefore the cost of a new phone is $299. AT&T said that I would have to wait 60 days to port the line back in otherwise it would be considered a win back.

Yesterday evening, I charged my phone at 7 having 28% and when i checked after an hour it was only 40%. Really? 12% in an hour, that's so slow to me. I'm hating on my phone. Can I pre-Oder at an ATT store (for the $199 price) using an upgrade from another line on my family plan? Normally, I would go ahead and order from apple, but I read somewhere else (on these forums) that apple can't do it as their system cant access upgrade eligibility/etc, so I would need to go to a ATT store.So basically... am i forced to camp out at an ATT store to ensure I get one on launch, or can I pre-order and have one waiting for me? If it wasn't for the new micro SIM, I would have just upgraded the other line and switched the SIMs.

I now have 2 confirms, 2 order statuses, 2 32G's at $299. I would like to cancel the ATT order, don't see a way to do it as it's "processing"
What do people think? One will be canceled somewhere along the line? I don't want both canceled....and only 1 want dang phone to come on the 24th.

So, i just got my iphone 4 like 15 minutes ago. I am syncing it now, but just noticed a yellow tint on a line on the bottom.I know some people said it went away and was just because of the screen 'curing'. Did yours go away?

So I placed a second order over the weekend which went through fine and I received it last week. The original order shipped out yesterday. Now I've got 2 iPhone 4's at upgrade pricing. I've already activated the first one and my contract end date has been updated to 2012. What do I do? I'd like to be able to keep the second one and have my wife use it; is this possible?
