So, i just got my iphone 4 like 15 minutes ago. I am syncing it now, but just noticed a yellow tint on a line on the bottom.I know some people said it went away and was just because of the screen 'curing'. Did yours go away?

Phone never was in the water or never was dropped. It is very visible in the screen diagnostic mode when the screen turns white.
My iPhone 5s has just recently developed a yellow spot on the lower part of the display. It appears to be burn in but it wasn't there when I put it on the charger and now it is. I've tried re-booting, erase and restore but nothing seems to work. it's only present on light backgrounds not on dark ones. Even pitch black backgrounds have no trace of the yellow haze.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am from Bulgaria and yesterday I bought Nokia x7. After only 4 hours the phone freezed on maps and stayed like for like an hour. Finaly I managed to turned off and on and there was a yellow spot on the screen. Its visible only on lighter colors. I brought it back and they sayed that I could be my mistake but I didnt do anything to it only downloaded some aplications from ovi store.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my new Bold 9900 about two weeks ago. I noticed today that there is thin black line that across my camera screen. This line is near the bottom of the camera screen and is in photos I take. This line will move downwards as I zoom in and disappears if I zoom in enough (and won't be in the pictures taken when zoomed in enough).
This line doesn't appear when I change to video camera. BTW my conveneice key which currently on the default option (camera) is EXTREMELY hard to activitate...I need to press REALLY hard!
I read many many E52 phones suffer Internal GPS fix problems. I don't beleve this is an hardware problem, but only a software bug. My experiments say this:
1) Start phone, start Ovi Maps -> No lock at all. (only 1 blinking line in bottom left corner)
2) Start phone, start McGuider (Sygic) navigator -> E52 locks quite immedeately. (in the same place!!)
3) After GPS is locked, start Ovi Maps again. Now also Maps works great!
4) Also the gps built-in application under Menu->Applications->GPS->GPS Data has the same behaviour as Ovi Maps.
I've noticed that my phone captures something and appears on the bottom a mm size whitish line, looks like its a small portion that doesn't get filtered with the rest of the picture. Couldn't find anything online about it I bet its just mine. Chance anyone sees this themselves??

But im pretty sure thats not true.So I want to add a line with iPhone 4 then once I receive her, put it on my primary line, use a dummy phone on the new line, and cancel data on the new line. It works out because I need a new line anyway, I have unlimited data on my primary line, and it saves me some $$ in getting the iPhone at full discount price.
The only thing I was worried about was being able to cancel data, but the ATT rep said I can cancel data at any time. And to order online, I would need to add the single line to my account and order it, once I receive it then I can switch to family plan.Will I need to do the same call ATT and give them IMEI's of everything to swap? Anyone done something similar?
My wife's line isn't eligible for an early upgrade. AT&T wants 599 for an iPhone 4. Has anyone thought about. Doing this if you're in my shoes? Add a new family line and get an iPhone 4 for 199 and port out your old line and get an early termination fee of around $100 since she has had the phone for a year. Therefore the cost of a new phone is $299. AT&T said that I would have to wait 60 days to port the line back in otherwise it would be considered a win back.

I am currently using a refurbished black iPhone 4 that was given to me as a replacement phone at an Apple Store back in July 2011. As of last week, the a yellow mark has appeared in the upper left side of screen. I went to the Genius Bar and the only option I was given was to throw down $149 on another refurbished phone that, for all I know, will mess up in another 8-9 months.

When I returned, the phone had drained 60 percent battery and there was a yellow spot on the bottom right of the screen. The yellow spot quickly went away after a few minutes of usage, but it was definitely there.
Is this normal for a phone to behave like this if exposed to heat?
