I've noticed that my phone captures something and appears on the bottom a mm size whitish line, looks like its a small portion that doesn't get filtered with the rest of the picture. Couldn't find anything online about it I bet its just mine. Chance anyone sees this themselves??
View 6 RepliesI got my new Bold 9900 about two weeks ago. I noticed today that there is thin black line that across my camera screen. This line is near the bottom of the camera screen and is in photos I take. This line will move downwards as I zoom in and disappears if I zoom in enough (and won't be in the pictures taken when zoomed in enough).
This line doesn't appear when I change to video camera. BTW my conveneice key which currently on the default option (camera) is EXTREMELY hard to activitate...I need to press REALLY hard!
I dropped my phone (n85) and found out that my phone's capture key was detached and missing. Its so tiny and I can't find it anymore! THe capture key is only key that I could use to capture an image on my phone. Now I can't use the camera of my phone anymore. Is there any other key or way so I could still capture an image on my phone?or do i have to buy that tiny spare part just so i can still use the camera of my phone?

View 7 Replies View RelatedBasically I'm having some issues with my HTC Sensation, and I was just wondering if it was a common problem or if it's completely unheard of. What's happening is that whenever I press the home button on the bottom of the handset, it will take a screen capture (even when I don't press the lock button). It's kinda tempremental, however it's doing it about 3 times a day...and the only way to stop it is by restarting the phone!I have done a factory reset on the phone and updated all its software but that hasen't seemed to in the slightest.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI noticed a yellow spot on the left bottom corner of the screen and also yellow line across the screen (bottom).
Phone never was in the water or never was dropped. It is very visible in the screen diagnostic mode when the screen turns white.
I read many many E52 phones suffer Internal GPS fix problems. I don't beleve this is an hardware problem, but only a software bug. My experiments say this:
1) Start phone, start Ovi Maps -> No lock at all. (only 1 blinking line in bottom left corner)
2) Start phone, start McGuider (Sygic) navigator -> E52 locks quite immedeately. (in the same place!!)
3) After GPS is locked, start Ovi Maps again. Now also Maps works great!
4) Also the gps built-in application under Menu->Applications->GPS->GPS Data has the same behaviour as Ovi Maps.
I am observing that when I touch on screen on camera mode to take picture, it first flashes and zooms a bit and take picture.By the time it does all the actual posture is going away because of slowness. I used to observe this in other brand phones and really hard to digest in xperia neo it is happening.Is this correct behavior ? or anything can be done. Irrespective of flash light, there is couple of seconds delay while taking picture.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAs the title said, deleted photo's thumbnails appear in my N97's capture gallery. I capture an image or two and when I go to my Photos > Captured I see tumbnails of images I deleted a long time ago. When I open a file I still see an image that was deleted ower a year ago.
Only when I click "edit" do I see the recently captured image that I should have seen in the first place.I tried everything. Restore factory settings, delete everything the phone lets me in explorer... still the problem persists. Any ideas on how to fix this?
i just bought a new xperia ray a week ago. at first, the white line do not appear with the sony ericsson logo. i already updated the phone to 2.3.4. then after a few days every time i turn on the phone or plug the charger, a white line appears flashing at the bottom of the screen with the sony ericsson logo.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn some apps (and only some), at the very bottom of the screen there is a single row of white pixels that extends across the entire width of the screen, and is obviously most noticable in apps that have dark background colours. Just some things I've noticed:
- It isn't visible when on the lockscreen, or basically anywhere in the core OS
- It doesn't matter whether I'm using the light or dark theme, the problem remains the same
- It seems a lot less likely to happen/show when I'm in an app that uses an app bar at the bottom
- I think it's related to the display/positioning of app backgrounds, as I haven't seen this happen in apps that don't have backgrounds.

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust started happening today. When I turn my phone on, instead of getting the lock screen I get a white screen that just has the emergency call box at the bottom. I can get no further than this. When I touch emergency call, I can see the bar at the top with pending notifications, but no way to get there. I can hear the incoming text notification. I can receive a call. On the white screen, I can see the faint images of home and back at the bottom. I have rebooted, removed the battery. when I start in safe mode, I see the same white screen, but it does say safe mode at the bottom, but still can't do anything or get any further.

The home button, power button and sound button work fine, I have tried turning the phone on and off again and I have done a 'hard rest' I have even plugged it into the computer and done a back up and update. None of which worked and after the update the screen was completely unusable.Â
I have never dropped my phone or damaged it in anyway.

I've seen it many times being brightly black and white, and under Manage Connections it shows a Green checked symbol. But most of the time the WiFi icon is grayed out and under Manage Connections it has a white little line instead of the green checked symbol.

Camera will not capture images. Purely states 'unable to capture image'. Video camera comes up with coloured lines, no image. Reasonably new handset, have tried rebooting and clearing down all apps.

Before today, the phone was taking pictures in color. What happened? The only thing I've done differently was that yesterday, the phone froze for about 2 hours when I clicked on an application. I had to take the battery out to restart the phone. This morning, the phone will only take black and white pictures.
