View 6 Replies View Relatedmy n97 wouldn't charge nor turn on whatever I just see the little led charge light on, I understood this is a software problem with the battery management program which is ridiculous but found myself without a phone so decided to remove battery and take off the plug to an old phone and connect the + and - directly to the battery for 10mins and conected the battery back up turned phone on and connected it onto the main N97 charger and it started normally.

It was on 80% battery, but it left it on charge over night and when I won't up still nothing?. It didn't go near any water or I didn't drop it or anything. I've tried the reset buttons about 6000 times and when I plug it into itunes it doesn't do anything at all and it doesn't even go into the recovery mode? I was recently received a brand new Bold 9700 from an aunt in Canada and I had only been using it in the UK for 3 weeks when the screen suddenly went completely white.I can still receive calls, and I can hear bbms and emails arriving but I can't see anything at all. I've have tried the battery pull many times but it still remains the same. I've been told that RIM usually offers a year's warranty on new products but because it was bought in Canada, none of the networks here in the UK are willing to take it in for repair.

About 2 - 3 times a day my bb 9700 screen will blank out and go completely white. I would have to do a battery pull and then my bb will restart and everything will be fine. I have wiped my phone, downgrade the software and upgrade it again. Still nothing is resolved with it blanking out 2 - 3 times a day.

Right, I've had my blackberry for a few months now, it was bought from someone else. Only recently, my phone has been turning itself off and giving me the "white screen of death" but I've always managed to get passed it by removing the battery then restarting it. But today, it has turned itself off, reloaded to the main screen where it then freezes, the screen goes white and it says "app error 523 - reset". Ive clicked reset about a billion times and it keeps doing the same thing over and over again. I downloaded blackberry desktop/device software but it won't find my device. I tried that app wizard loader thing, but that didn't work either. And yes, my phone is charged.

I obviously tried to do a full reboot, remove and replace the battery but it does not resolve the issue. Is this a defect? I turned my phone off then on. In the process of it starting up it kept on turning on and off by itself. I had no chance to do anything before it wouldn't turn off again. The battery said it was full but everytime it turned back on I could see it was loosing life. I went to plug it in to charge but that wouldn't help as it wouldn't charge while it was turning on and off all the time. I tried to take the battery out. I have taken the memory card out. Now it has frozen with a white lit up screen.
