Sony Ericsson :: K800i - Phone Keeps Turning On And Off / Now Frozen With White Screen

I turned my phone off then on. In the process of it starting up it kept on turning on and off by itself. I had no chance to do anything before it wouldn't turn off again. The battery said it was full but everytime it turned back on I could see it was loosing life. I went to plug it in to charge but that wouldn't help as it wouldn't charge while it was turning on and off all the time. I tried to take the battery out. I have taken the memory card out. Now it has frozen with a white lit up screen.
My K800i turns itself off every (est.) 10 seconds after I turn it on. I tried taking the mem.card off & changing the batt but it didn't solve the prob.I used the master reset(all setting) but it wasn't successful because at the midst of the procedure, it turned off.Now whenever I turn it on, it only says "please wait" (probably because of the reset I did) but it would not continue even if I wait for a couple of hours.I tried updating it with Update Service but it failed. I tried several times and same things happened.
My k800i has been absolutely fine for the 4 or so years i've owned it but recently trying to start the golf game it came installed with has crashed the phone sending into an auto restart.Today instead of restarting, the phone crashed and had a few pixels on the screen in dark Grey but wouldn't change so i had to remove the battery. Now whenever i turn on the phone, the screen display is completely white and the phone vibrates once. I have tried removing the memory card, letting the phone sit for a few minutes before trying again etc all with no success. After googling this problem it seems fairly common but I didn't want to download different software that could damage it permanently. Does anyone know a good solution to this?

My phone was working good. I tried to update the software using SE update service. When I press C and connected the cable the software checked connected phone and replied product can not be identified, remove the cable and reinsert the battery. I did so. But now phone is not working when I try to switch it on, the screen just blinks with a light but no text on the screen. I tried to flash the phone too but it is also not wokring XS++ shows something link this.

I just tried to install the Ice Cream Sandwich unofficial firmware and when I tried to reboot it got stuck on the Sony Ericsson screen. Taking out the battery doesnt help, neither does doing any combination of buttons to get to the boot menu. I have Clockword Mod Recovery, but I cant reach that either. I did keep backups, but since I cant reach the phone in anyway, I cant enable them.
I have k750i for a long time and it was working very well . I was not making pictures for a while , and now when i try to make a picture : 1.open camera ( on back ) ==> am in camera mode 2.i press button for making pictures 3. i see grin spot in upper left corner 4. spot blinks few times ( i hold picture button ) 5. i hear a sound, but then picture is not "frozen" on the screen? when i look in folder with pictures there is no picture What could be a problem ? Am i doing something wrong ? Could it be a problem to button that's makes pictures ? Is there any other button that i can use if this one is not working proper any more?
I am getting no sound from the speaker on my k800i. I can not hear ringtones, or music. The sound does work on the ear phones, and the phone is not in silent mode. The volume is set high. I can hear the voice of other callers. Any ideas?
I have a Sony Ericsson K800i and until two days ago it was working just fine. But then it displayed the "No access to network." message and I couldn't make or receive any calls. I tried to restart the phone, to take off the battery, to reset the settings, to set a network manually etc etc but still nothing.
And while it is searching for a network, it is draining the battery too. It was fully charged this morning, and now it's only 25%. Normally, it should take 3-4 days to reach that power level. I should mention now that I'm in roaming in Munich, Germany since three weeks, and my phone bills are payed on time, so it shouldn't be an mobile operator problem.
My phone (K800i) has displayed no network coverage for almost a month now, I have tried network search auto and manual, and I have tried my SIM in other phones and it works fine. Does anyone have any suggestions because I am fed up of this phone I am having to use while I try and fix my own.

I have a problem with battery.I let recharge all night and still Says "Low Battery" all the time and battery icon is not full but empty and a red light near infrared turn on and off i don't know what to do can someone help me with it please
I know many people have written about this but I have a dead SE K800i. I have tried updating via SEUS and it says it is updating but phone still does not turn on. I have also tried updating with wotan client but get only so far and then nothing.
I'll be buying a 2nd Hand/Pre owned k800i this coming June 10,2010 and would have to know your ideas on what drivers are okay. I've been searching about these drivers, I did find some great drivers from modders like number 1 and more. but, my concern is, I still don't know the specs of the phone i'll be getting since the owner barely uses the phone and has no idea about modding. I'll post additional info once I get the phone. I would like to improve the camera (for pictures), video (can we upgrade it to QVGA instead? and 35fps if its good), i also would like to change the UI to mimic the k810i's and lastly the sound driver so that it would be louder. If there's anything better to modd for my phone, would really appreciate.
I took a K800i phone apart to fix it, achieved the fix, and put it back together again.Now the power button (not the rubber bit you touch but the tiny button underneath it) has well gone!I can't figure out whether it's fallen out, snapped off, been pressed to hard into the unit or what.Thing is, this is the 4th time I've managed to do this with 4 separate phones and want to learn how to (a) avoid the problem and (b) ideally fix it.Can anyone give me any advice on this?
i have k-800i device,i cannot open my inbox,sent items or drafts.It is not highlighted at all.Similarly when i send the messages to this device.it doesn't show any notfication or does not receive messages.What could be the problem? How can be rectified?

my k800i phone dropped dead and i have been trying to fix it.When i start the phone it blink red from ir port and the screen turns white. I have been trying to flash but cant really figure out how to do it exactly and find the files to do it. I updated the CID to 52 instead of 49 with XS++. I just dropped my cellphone and it turned off. when i tried turn it back on, appeared a white screen and nothing more. the keyboard is normal and the screen blinks between white and black. I tried to update via SEUS and flash with a2uploader tool and aerix application BUT nothing happen.
I was playing music through the Walkman player, when the audio suddenly cut off and a very loud buzzing/crackling replaced the music. The screen had frozen, and the buttons had no response. The screen then exploded in a rainbow of multicolored dots, like that on a TV with no signal, before turning black. Now I cannot turn the phone on. I have tried taking the battery out and replacing it, and charging it, and holding the power button for ages. I have also connected it to the computer via the USB cable, but there is no response on the computer or phone.
I'm currently having a problem most of the time whenever I move the joystick downwards on my K800i phone, instead of scrolling down a menu, my phone thinks I've pressed select and pushed the joystick button. This is particularly irritating especially when I'm writing texts. Using the predictive text option and when I'm trying to scroll down in my address book to either call someone and my phone thinks I've pressed 'select' and calls somebody, I didn't want to call and sending somebody a text. In the meantime, I'm just moving the joystick upwards whenever I have to scroll through menus.
I've had my phone for about 2 1/2 years now and it was perfectly fine until now. I also have another minor problem which occurs rarely. Sometimes my phone is locked and when I get a text, The phone display stays dark and the phone doesn't function for me to unlock the phone. I have to open and shut the camera shutter for the display to light up the display and for the phone to function.
How can I disable the internet connection since the phone switches onto internet at random when I do not what to go on line and I am getting unneccessary charges
