BB Curve 8520/8530 :: Blank White Screen And Constant Reboot - Replaced Screen But No Luck

I understand lots of people have had the same problem, but I just cannot find a solution which works for my Blackberry 8520!It has a white screen showing nothing, it boots once you put the battery in, and the only way to power it off is to take out the battery, I think it also keeps rebooting.I have replaced the screen - still white screen.I have re-installed the OS - still white screen

with my Blackberry 8520.It has a white screen on death everytime i turn it on, Although the alarm and everything will still go off as usaul so i know the phone is working. Ive tryed doing stuff with the software but im not sure im doing it all right due to me being a Iphone sorta person!

My curve 8520 shows a constant white screen when switched on every thing seems to be working i receive and make calls normal but the screen just remains white.

I've had my 8530 for a little over a month, every once in awhile after I end a call the screen goes blank but when I use the track pad the screen comes back in sections. After I use the track pad to scroll upper left then upper right the bottom right and bottom left the screen is normal. Has anyone else had this issue?

Recently my 8520 screen just goes white and stops working. It restarts when I charge the phone and works properly till the next white" out which is becoming more frequent as the days go by. I read up a fix that has to do with disassembling the phone but i dont know how to go about it. Does anyone have any other fix or a guide on how to disassemble the phone?

my screen randomly lining into pure white and becoming unresponsive. It requires a battery pull to correct the problem, and it doesn't seem to affect the way everything else is running. BlackBerry has had me do a 'clean install' on the device

the problem started with the 8520 stop working... it will load then started to fade to white screen after using the app loader to restore the os the problem got worse... now even the app loader wont detect the blackberry it will detect for a second after batt removal then the app loader wont detect it anymore

My Blackberry 8520 curve suddenly hangs giving a white screen and when i restart it - the screen remains white. After i put it into charge - then only a successful start is done. So the only solution as of now i have - is whenever my blackberry hangs - i need to remove the battery - insert it again - and immediately put it into charging via USB/Electric-Power. Even if i re-insert the battery - the white screen comes - unless and until i put it into charging Earlier i was guessing - my battery was weak.

my dog got hold of my 8530 and put a toothmark in the screen cover. The screen was also damaged meaning I could see white and grey stripes. I bought a new screen and replaced the old one. Now when I turn it on, I get the white screen and i cannot dial out or recieve calls. Basically the phone is dead. I was able to connect to my desktop and install the latest OS version. I put the old screen back in and I still cannot recieve or dial. I must have done something while taking it apart or putting back together? It is a very simple procedure so I would think it difficult to screw it up. Before I took it apart, i could get phone calls and dial out but i couldnt see the outgoing or incoming call screen. I took the battery out before I took it apart. Now when I connect to my desktop, the connection comes and goes as if you were plugging and plugping in the device.

I'm having major stress with my Blackberry Curve The screen keeps going blank and white, then the phone resets and keeps going round and round in circles blanking and reseting. A few times it has loaded up, but by the time I've sent a message it has gone blank again and reset.This last time it loaded up the screen said ... uncaught exception limit <=4 ... or something very similar.

I received an email from Blackberry saying a new SIM card had been installed. It had not since March. We followed the link and tried to follow the instructions. We did a hard reboot by taking the battery out, waiting a minute, and then putting it back in. About half way through, the screen went blank white, and we have not been able to get it to do anything else.

so i have a blackberry curve and randomly it just turns to a white screen and becomes unresponsive. When i take the battery out it has a white screen with a box, like the one that shows when its loading and then eventually it turns back to the blank white screen.Then only way i can get the phone to turn back on is by plugging it in the charger. Then again it randomly goes back to the blank white screen while im using it

problem is itermitent as in doesnt happen 100% everytime but when it happens it happens frequently and repeatedly
i can be using my phone and when i recieve a call or text it will freeze the screen will go completly white the red light on the front of the device will show then it will reboot it self this also happens when trying to open messages and emails and even when scrolling up and down the apps.
i have wiped my device with the blackberry software and reloaded it several times with different software bundles and each time the problem reacures even if i dont restore my personal settings and i have also removed the memory card.

After using my phone today...I locked it, and put it in my pocket. When I went to use it again the screen display was multicoloured...and then turned white! I can make and receive calls, but nothing is displayed on the screen except white. I took the battery out....nothing! I tried to hook it up to my computer to update the software- and the computer couldn't connect to it!

Because my first Blackberry Curve 8530 would not go passed the reboot screen, they sent me another one, once I connected it to my Blackberry Desktop Software in order to add my contacts and other backup information, it caused my Blackberry to shut down and now it will not go pass the reboot screen. It will finish, but then it will turn off and the process starts all over again.

My Curve 8900 shut down over the weekend. It won't come back on. It goes off and when I press the power button, the red light comes one, the backlit screen with the hourglass comes on and then it goes off again. A little while later, it starts the cycle over again, backlit blank screen, hourglass spins, bb shuts off.

My phone froze up for a long time. I took the battery out, waited a minute and put it back. Now my phone will not reboot completely. After the Sprint screen, an 'uncaught inception' message pops up, then it proceeds to verify security software.....the screen turns bright white and a tiny message in the middle of the screen says: app error 523 with the word 'reset' highlighted under it.....I can't do anything but click on it, for it to shut down and go through the whole exact thing all over again..

I have been reading some other posts on this board that seem to be close to my problem but nothing seems to be working. My phone was fully charged sitting in the charger all night as per norm, but when I woke up I hade a frozen white screen so I pulled the battery for over 2 min's then put it back in the red LED was constant for 15-20 seconds then off. I have tried charging it and tried putting on a new OS but as soon as I plug any USB in the phone the LED will go off and will not be recognised by my laptop nor will I get any charging LED.

I've had my BB for 8 months. I did not really do anything special to my phone except turn it on and hide it from my 14 month old. When I retrieved it, the screen is all white. I can not do anything with it. I am able to receive calls on it and I hear that I receive messages on it but I can not see anything! I can not do anything either, not even turn it off....I'm desperate! I've tried soft booting and even a hard boot, but agian nothing is working.

My BB Curve 8520 is 3 weeks old and yesterday morning it just turned blank white with a black line in the middle of the white screen. I can receivecalls and messages but can't view them. It goes blank after it goes idle. But after sometime the home screen appears and when it goes idle, it disappears again.

I am using a BB Curve 8520 Smartphone (EDGE WIFI) v5.0.0.681.From almost a month now i am facing a problem whenever i m using my phn for more than 5mins in a stretch.Even while browsing internet or during call the screen jst blurs and goes totally white and then i have to take d battery out nd reinsert it and it will try to restart for a min or so nd again go sompletely white midway.The only way the phn restarts is by reinserting the battery while being attached to the charger.Although it doesnt have battery issues as when the phone starts again the battery indications are correct and doesnt show a drained out battery.I upgraded software frm BB website and also tried deleting all the new apps that i had downloaded but still the problem wont go.The phn works perfect and doesnt freeze even once when constantly connected to the charger.But practically thats not possible

i've had my phone for about 2 years now and last week my screen made white lines until it got fully white so i rebooted my phone and it rebooted half way then my screen just when black and didn"t work anymore.So the next day i did a software update on my 8520 and it worked perfectly fine then a few days ago my phone is doing the same thing and it will only work when i have my charger on.

Whenever I try to reset my blackberry it will freeze at 75% and the screen will go off and it will do it all over again, when I connect my bb to desktop software it will come up with a message saying the device software needs updating during the update it says "reconnecting to JVM" and the desktop software will disconnect my blackberry is there anyway to stop this from happening.
