I have a Blackberry Bold 2 9700. Till 2 weeks ago it worked perfectly, 2 weeks ago while I was sleeping my phone ranged, then I pressed a button(I am not sure but should be the mute button) and suddenly it started to ring only once(then it starts the vibration) while in holster. I looked every setting of it but could not find anything wrong.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I call my phone I hear 4 rings on the phone I am calling from. However the blackberry itself only rings twice and just vibrates in between. I do want the vibrate option but would like to hear four rings instead of two.
View 2 Replies View RelatedChecked all my settings and volume!! Phone still does not ring, this is happening since i reset my iphone and used my ipod touch backup as a restore. I have since reset my phone as a new iphone but the iphone still doesnt ring when called (even after making sure the settings where correct and the volume was up!)

My phone no longer rings to announce incoming calls?

I've been using Package Disabler Pro and I'm not sure if its something that was considered bloatware or not by the app. I enabled all the disabled packages and it still does does not come back.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just noticed this, and I'm not sure how long it's been happening, but I can't find any setting to get the phone to vibrate when I receive a text message. I can have it make a sound or be silent, and the phone vibrates just fine when I get a call.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI read that the update would "improve the keyboard functionality". Well I updated this morning and my keyboard no longer vibrates when I touch a key, or if it does it is barely noticeable. Is this intentional? Was a setting changed/re-set due to the update? Is there a way to control the amount of vibration when you push a letter? I am missing the space bar constantly because it doesn't vibrate.
View 2 Replies View RelatedFirst off I KNOW it is not on silent.
I was adding a custom ringtone and accidentally edited vibrate and hit replace all.Now it no longer rings on any profile.and yes i did change it so it plays a ringtone again, and nothing.I even restored the profiles to yesterdays backup.and nothing works.
I recently downloaded the new update for my Blackberry Tour, and I have noticed that my phone is not remembering its settings (im assuming). When I have my phone holstered, it only vibrates twice and does not ring (though I have it set to Always for the ringtone) for my MMS/SMS messages. When its out of holster, it will only do the default text messing sound. I am not sure how to fix this though I have rebooted it twice in attempts for the settings.
View 4 Replies View RelatedBeen a happy Sprint user since 2005 and have used various dumb phones and smartphones. The Photon is my 3rd Android.I have noticed that each phone , whether smartphone or not, has the same issue that has caused me to miss incoming phone calls here and there - the caller dials my number and hears several rings before my phone actually starts ringing. The phone goes to voicemail before I have the opportunity to answer the phone. The solution for my phones has always been to adjust the Slot Cycle index from the default setting of 2 to the setting of 0. This causes the phone to poll towers more frequently, thus the phone is more quickly aware of a new incoming call. The only negative implication is that the phone goes through battery a bit more quickly during the day...but it's really only a tiny difference. I've done this on my phones, on my spouse's phones, my mom's phone, etc.
Since the Photon's battery life is so much better than my prior phone (EVO 4G) I am very comfortable in adjusting the Slot Cycle index, so I obtained my MSL from Sprint and attempted the adjustment by going to the Dialer:##DATA# ->tap green Dial icon -> to the Data Settings menu...tap Advanced->From there you can see that the Slotted Index is set to 2. So I wanted to change the setting but can't get to it from Menu->Edit->enter MSL code->VerifyI called Sprint about this issue, and in the past they have helped me to change the setting. I have called more than once and have been dealing with the more advanced Tech Support team. No one at Sprint can figure out how to adjust this setting on the Photon.
This is a company iPhone. It stated passcode is expired; I changed it. Now new passcode comes up invalid and locks phone for longer and longer periods.

My iPhone GS3 has somehow set itself to silent, it just vibrates. The ringer volume is max but on settings it says Silent. How do I adjust this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedIt is not my mute button, the volume is turned up and the settings are correct. It is also not related to use of headphones.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince the latest iOS8.1.1 update done my phone is not working properly. When ever I get a call, I am not able to hear the ring sound, phone turns to silent & vibrate mode. After this observation I have tried these many options to resolve this issue...Â
1. Did Rest all settings
2. Did Network all settings
3. Spoke with Apple support > suggested to do phone restore through itunes> but no issue problem still exist. Â

when I plug my phone in at night or charge it, it will not ring it only vibrates if someone calls or texts me it will only vibrate. I have checked the slider button on the side its not stuck on anything like that, the sound settings are fine i have a ringtone for both calls and texts. I have called apple and they suggested to do a back up and restore which i have done that and the phone will ring with a call but not a text so i'm still having the same problem.? My husband has the same problem & we got the phones at the same time, ( we thought it was a setting and we weren't familar with them yet) I have looked online and havent managed to find a resolution to this issue yet.

When I record video and then replay the file, the image flickers and vibrates. When I send the file via text message to contacts, the image still flickers on their devices as well. However during facetime, the image broadcast from my phone does not flicker. Is there something wrong with my phone's hard drive? camera app?

Can not get my 4s to make ringing sounds on anything.
, I can only get it to sound when i test a sound.
My iPhone will now only vibrate when the screen on the right hand side is pushed down. The side of my iPhone has previously come slightly apart (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=881919) which I glued together. But it didn't get the vibrate going again.Anyone know how I could fix this? Or how much I could sell it for whilst not vibrating..?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had a 3GS iphone for about a year and a half and just last month it has started to randomly vibrate. Whenever I switch it to silent mode I will set my phone down and the bell symbol will continue to pop up as if I'm switching it on and off of silent mode. Every time the symbol pops up it vibrates. Sometimes it will do it five or six times in a row when it's just laying on a table. How I can make it stop?
