Jun 7, 2012My phone won't ring. it only vibrates. The volume is turned up and it will let me select a ringtone (and hear it), but when I have an incoming text or phone call it will only vibrate. It is not in airplane mode or anything.

Jun 14, 2012My phone is constantly on vibrate and won't play ringtones, text tones or keyboard clicks. It does however play the tone for my alarm clock! The tab on the left hand side of the phone is switched to loud and so is the bottom icons where the up menu is hidden (near the screen orientation)Also I have checked and double checked all the settings for tones and they all work fine when I am in it, but as soon as a call comes in it only vibrates!

Jul 10, 2012I have a Blackberry Torch 9800 software version 6.0 with bundle 2342. All of a sudden my phone will not ring. I have tried numerous battery pulls, changing the ringtone, and changing the profile with no success. My phone is almost 2 yrs old so I believe the warranty has expired. It will still vibrate but not ring. Even when I try to switch ringtones, the "try it" feature is silent and I get no preview when I view my ringtone list. How do I get my phone to start ringing again?

May 12, 2010Using a Nextel Curve - when a call comes in the phone vibrates first, then begins ringing. I miss calls all the time at home because I don't hear it vibrate, and it only rings for about 5 seconds. I've downloaded ringers that are 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds in length and it doesn't make a difference. Vibrate, vibrate, ring for 5 sec, missed call... Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The silent switch is not set, If i go into the settings menu, the ringer menu files are missing.All other sounds work flawlessly, music plays, keyboard clicks away and voicemail, and text alerts come through, it's just the ringer that's problematic.I have attched the screen shot of the settings page here below.

Mar 12, 2012when I plug my phone in at night or charge it, it will not ring it only vibrates if someone calls or texts me it will only vibrate. I have checked the slider button on the side its not stuck on anything like that, the sound settings are fine i have a ringtone for both calls and texts. I have called apple and they suggested to do a back up and restore which i have done that and the phone will ring with a call but not a text so i'm still having the same problem.? My husband has the same problem & we got the phones at the same time, ( we thought it was a setting and we weren't familar with them yet) I have looked online and havent managed to find a resolution to this issue yet.

Whenever I switch it to silent mode I will set my phone down and the bell symbol will continue to pop up as if I'm switching it on and off of silent mode. Every time the symbol pops up it vibrates.
