My phone won't ring. it only vibrates. The volume is turned up and it will let me select a ringtone (and hear it), but when I have an incoming text or phone call it will only vibrate. It is not in airplane mode or anything.

The tab on the left hand side of the phone is switched to loud and so is the bottom icons where the up menu is hidden (near the screen orientation)Also I have checked and double checked all the settings for tones and they all work fine when I am in it, but as soon as a call comes in it only vibrates!

I have a Blackberry Torch 9800 software version 6.0 with bundle 2342. All of a sudden my phone will not ring. I have tried numerous battery pulls, changing the ringtone, and changing the profile with no success. My phone is almost 2 yrs old so I believe the warranty has expired. It will still vibrate but not ring. Even when I try to switch ringtones, the "try it" feature is silent and I get no preview when I view my ringtone list. How do I get my phone to start ringing again?

I miss calls all the time at home because I don't hear it vibrate, and it only rings for about 5 seconds. I've downloaded ringers that are 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds in length and it doesn't make a difference. Vibrate, vibrate, ring for 5 sec, missed call... View 7 Replies View RelatedOn several occassions, I've heard my iPhone 4S - while locked and set down flat -- make a sound that is similar to coins rattling or a piece of glass breaking. I checked all my alert sounds and no sound like that is even an option. When I pick up the phone and unlock it after, everything is fine and there's no message displaying.

I have the X6. The phone rings and I unlock the keyguard using the slider on the side of the phone and the phone stops ringing. Then in order to answer the phone I press the green button on the bottom left of the phone or I press answer call on the screen and then I can speak which I suppose sounds fair enough. But I just think that something is wrong because surely the phone should continue to make the 'ringing' noise until I actually answer the call rather than going mute just because I have unlocked the keyguard.. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how the phone works?

I had just got done texting my girlfriend, and so I set my phone in my pocket like usual. 5 minutes later I took it back out and it just didnt turn back on, I tried everything to fix it. I tried checking if it was the battery and it wasnt, I tried rebooting it and it didnt work either. I know its not the screen because it would at least vibrate or make noise or light up but the only thing that lights up is a lil green light at the corner when I plug it to charge.

When I make phone calls, I am unable to hear anything, even a ringing. Sometimes I can finally hear people after about 20 seconds, sometimes I can't hear anything at all. This also happens sometimes when other people call me. Is there any way for me to fix this problem, or is it finally time for me to consider buying a new phone?

If you click on the upper part of your trackpad does it not make a clicking noise and do you feel it click down? mine doesn't , but every where else it does( middle, left and right and bottom). I did the trackpad fix and my trackpad is very solid and even now.
