It won't make any keypad noises either and my volunme buttons on the side of my phone don't work either..I have tried restoring it, but it does nothing..

My phone will no longer make or receive calls and I can't text after upgrading to iOS 8.1.1. I've tried everything except chucking the phone out the window. I have reset it multiple times, turned it off and back on, reset the network settings, reset all settings, toggled the airplane mode switch, and done a complete factory restoration. What else is there to do? I can't get a new phone for another year.

So I can receive texts from everyone in my contacts and who I normally text, but this one girl in my contacts has been telling me she receives my texts but then complains when I dont answer her, but I have not been receiving these texts. So I am curious as to what could be the problem with my Iphone 4? Ive updated it to 5.1 today to see if that was the problem but we are still having issues, and I also checked that she is also using verizon.

I have a problem with an iPhone 4 GSM with iOS 5.1: until last week it perfectly worked and then it started to not have any signal bars and therefore I can't receive and send either calls or texts. Oddly enough though I can still connect to the web. I forgot to mention before that the iphone is factory unlocked.I tried to reset the settings and then to format the device but nothing changed. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have recently noticed a disturbing situation with my BB Bold 9700. I can set the audio profile to Silent (like when I am in the movie or theater) but when people with specific ringtones call, the phone still has the audible ring.
I have tried all the tips I have found on this site and other sites. However, nothing seems to work. It only happens with people who have custom ring tones set.
Every time I set my phone profile to "silent" or "vibrate" calls continue to audibly ring through normally. I went into my provider with my problem, and they're trying to tell me that its not possible for me to have custom ringtones set up and have the vibrate/silent work at the same time. According to them I either have to have my phone on vibrate all the time, remove all my custom tones, or just turn my phone off when I want it to be silent! My friend has the same phone and is on my family plan, and he has custom tones and his vibrate/silent still works as it should, so I know that its possible. All I want is to be able to have my phone not ring while in class or at the movies.

My wife has a 3GS with a strange problem: starting about a month ago, text messages send to her phone number vanish into the void -- I my phone they go as imessages and show as sent, but she never sees them. Several of her coworkers have startet to complain about the same thing. I can either just pick up an old conversation where she was texting me from her phone and reply, or start a new text and pick her iPhone's number, either way it looks to me like it was sent but she doesn't see it.
if she sends me a text, I see it, but it says it's from her @me.com email address. And if I send a text to her @me.com email address she gets it on her phone. But almost exactly no one ever thinks to sent her a text at that email address instead of her phone number...

trust that someone will be able to assist phone was working perfectly until yesteday afternoon when i tried to make a call it said call failed as well as recieving it goes to voicemail i have contact my network subsbribe problem not on there side ,when i try and send a message it gives me supplementry error :unknown and general error ,my bis is working perfect as well as everything else just the call failed problem ,,i am practically begging for assistance so anyone that could assist will be much apreciated .oh tried the removing batt while phone on removed sim card put into another phone no problems.

I have a 3.1 Firmware JailBroken by Blackra1n since it was released.2 weeks ago I lost the ability to send and receive text messages, I'll send them and no error shows but the person never receives them and I never receive theirs, NOT a network problem as far as a can tell.
