Mar 3, 2011i just bought my nokia e5 last week. i realized that i cannot turn off the sound when i snap pictures with the camera. i've gone to the settings, it only allows for changed between camera tone 1 to tone 4. No way to turn off the sound at all.
Turned the phone to silent mode, but the camera sound remains. Does anyone know how i can get rid of that sound? (as it is quite irritating)

The camera app closes down and I'm back on the main screen of my phone, so I've then got to re-open the app to take another photo. I know it never used to do this, it's only been the last couple of months I've noticed it. It started doing it before the update to 5.0.1 so I know that didn't cause it... Jul 30, 2015If I take a picture, let the LG Camera app click (and sort of flash the screen), then immediately hit the Back button to exit the Camera app, the picture does not actually save.
I noticed this the other day, and just tried reproducing it. Take a picture, letting the camera click and actually take the picture. But before the Gallery thumbnail in the bottom-right corner of the Camera app has a chance to update, immediately hit the Back button to exit. Then go to the Gallery and see if the picture is there.
On my phone, it's as though I never took the picture at all. I have Verizon, on software 611A, and I am saving to the 32GB SD card from the LG promo.
I have lost at least 1 picture already from this. It would seem to me that if the camera clicks, then the picture should officially have been taken, and the app should definitely save it before exiting, even if it has to finish the process in the background.
If you take a picture on a normal digital camera, then immediately hit the power button, the camera will likely give a message like "Camera is busy", or something similar, preventing it from shutting down until it's finished.

This seems to be a ridiculous amount of memory to be consumed by just one application. I read in another topic that someone was getting "memory full" error messages when trying to download Ovi Maps, and the solution was to delete the "cities" folder prior to downloading /t5/Eseries-and-Communicators/Not-able-to-download-OVI-maps/m-p/883467#M83039 . Aug 11, 2011My E7 can no longer make any phone calls. Everytime I try to make a call its goes beep boop "connection problem" eventhou it has full bars. I got i going again by shutting it down, but now that has stopped working as well. Few time when somebody has called me it has dropped the call at the first second saying "connection problem".
