On several occassions, I've heard my iPhone 4S - while locked and set down flat -- make a sound that is similar to coins rattling or a piece of glass breaking. I checked all my alert sounds and no sound like that is even an option. When I pick up the phone and unlock it after, everything is fine and there's no message displaying.

I just shifted from Samsung S4 to Sony Xperia Z2 supposing that Z2 has best feature as on date. It seems it's true till some extent however I am struggling with the call quality issue specially other party is not able to hear my voice clearly.
I tested it many times now it's very frustrating, everything is fine during usage of headphone but again same problem when I am taking calls directly from my cell.Â

For some reason when using a Bluetooth headset (Used a Sony MW1 Smart Wireless Headset Pro, set and a Fiat Blue&Me Car Bluetooth) the sound keeps breaking off both for me and the person I’m calling. I get long brake after witch the sound returns for a while.

When using a wired headset there is no issue like this. nor do I have the issue when i do regular phone calls using the sets

Furthermore sometimes the Bluetooth sound doesn’t turn on at all, so I get no sound neither on the loudspeaker nor on the Bluetooth set although the BT volume is set to max
My phone won't ring. it only vibrates. The volume is turned up and it will let me select a ringtone (and hear it), but when I have an incoming text or phone call it will only vibrate. It is not in airplane mode or anything.

I had just got done texting my girlfriend, and so I set my phone in my pocket like usual. 5 minutes later I took it back out and it just didnt turn back on, I tried everything to fix it. I tried checking if it was the battery and it wasnt, I tried rebooting it and it didnt work either. I know its not the screen because it would at least vibrate or make noise or light up but the only thing that lights up is a lil green light at the corner when I plug it to charge.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenever I complete an action that requires sound (refreshing Twitter, refreshing Blinkfeed, playing a song, typing on the keyboard) there will be this short popping noise afterwards. When I hold the top speaker to my ear after doing one of these actions I can hear something going on in the phone like it's powering on/off or something and then at the end there is this pop noise. I turned off "Touch Sounds" bc that was causing it to happen constantly but there doesn't seem to be any way around this outside of disabling all sounds on the phone.
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust noticed that whenever the phone wants to make a tone through the speaker, it will have a lot of background noise along with that sound. That background noise will prolong for a few second after finishing the tone it's supposed to make, then goes back to being silent.
For example, if I start typing on my keyboard, the phone obviously will play the key sound. The background noise will start but then will go back silent a few second after I finish typing.

For the last two days, I havent been able to make or receive calls because I either have no sound or static. I was chatting with AT&T online support and he tried resetting and other various options to fix it but finally advised me to take it in to a store and get a new sim card. I just did that and still, I do not have sound. I havent damaged my phone in any way, I havent dropped it or wet it....I checked to see if its still under warranty but of course, it expired. IPhone isn't even a year old. It breaks down even with a little amount of apps running. It breaks down and restarts. I have done the pressing and holding of the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds.
