View 1 Replies View Relatedi've just bought a xperia x10 mini pro... after reading the entire user guide, i still can't find the "counter" for total outgoing call time and outgoing sms. Anyone knows where to find this in the phone? previously when i was just W910i, this function was easily located.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have iPhone 4s and I wish to stop the outgooing SMS sound which is annoying, especially at nights. I have disabled the option of SMS sound in Settings>Sounds>Text tones as None.
I have also disabled the option of sent mail in Settings>Sounds>Sent Mail to None. Still the Whooosh sound of outgoing SMS is not stopped.

Just received my new iPhone 4S and when making a call I am unable to hear ringtone and answer from caller is very faint.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1.1 with AT&T: When I place an outgoing call, there is no ringing tone on my end. I can hear the person when they answer, and they can hear me. This is happening with all numbers, not just specific ones (both cell and land lines). I've tried switching to speaker phone, which makes no difference. I've checked my bluetooth setting, and am not connected to another source. I'm not in airplane mode, or Do Not Disturb. My operating system is up to date.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOn several occassions, I've heard my iPhone 4S - while locked and set down flat -- make a sound that is similar to coins rattling or a piece of glass breaking. I checked all my alert sounds and no sound like that is even an option. When I pick up the phone and unlock it after, everything is fine and there's no message displaying.

Has anyone else noticed a crackling noise (like bad reception / interference) when placing calls? I want to say what I notice is when I'm getting the ring back while waiting for someone to pick up is the "only" time I hear it. The audio in calls seems to be ok. It's sounds like a weak signal or interference. As far as I know (though I use my phone more for data than voice).I haven't noticed anything horrible as far as reception/call audio in calls, aside from when calling my mom, but I think that's her (she's famous for leaning on the mic or mumbling and trailing off). I start to think I must be old (I'm not) and losing my hearing (I'm not) but then I just realize it's herI don't know if it's because usually when I make a call I just unlock the screen and make the call and it was trying to re-start any data sleeping modes and such or if it's something else...
View 3 Replies View RelatedI was facing the problem of contacts & call log after updating the 2.1(multitouch update). My call log doesn't record the incoming, outgoing and missed call. Sometimes it records and sometimes it doesn't.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy call log only shows the latest call to/from a contact/number. (If I had a missed call from someone, it won't show up after I've called them back). Is there anyway to change that so it will show multiple calls / missed calls from the same number?

I just bought a new iPhone 4S and wonder where, if anywhere, there is an outgoing call counter. If there isn't, are there any good apps for this purpose.

I try to call and the person receives the call but doesn't hear anything. What's happen in my phone is that after the call the window freezes and to turn it off I need to restart the phone. I am not receiving calls either.

My first iphone 4s which I got at the end of March did this from day one. Whilst on a call, a loud shrill tone would cut in and it was so loud I had to take the phone away from my ear; it lasted up to 20 seconds then the call would cut back in again. On the other end, the person I was speaking to wasn't aware of anything, no noise but it went kind of dead for the duration. This problem was intermittent, not on every call, sometimes twice in one call.
I took the phone back to apple who exchanged it straight away for a new handset which was brilliant service. The very first call I made on the new phone-bang, exactly the same thing. I could not believe it. I got to wondering if it may be the brushed steel protective case so I changed that for a plastic one but it still does it. Not as often as the first phone but it still does it. Any ideas what it could be? I am almost embarrassed to go back to apple again but it can't be me can it? The phone is only 2 weeks old!

How to get the total incoming call duration and total outgoing call duration?

When I make a call, people can't hear me, or just barely if I speak very loudly. I can hear them perfectly. I have three bars or better. Did I reset some voice volume or something?

There is no sound when you answer or call out but there is sound for everything else. Not sure what else to try to get it working again, did a hard reset on it s few time but now thats not even working to fix the problem.

Whenever I complete an action that requires sound (refreshing Twitter, refreshing Blinkfeed, playing a song, typing on the keyboard) there will be this short popping noise afterwards. When I hold the top speaker to my ear after doing one of these actions I can hear something going on in the phone like it's powering on/off or something and then at the end there is this pop noise. I turned off "Touch Sounds" bc that was causing it to happen constantly but there doesn't seem to be any way around this outside of disabling all sounds on the phone.
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust noticed that whenever the phone wants to make a tone through the speaker, it will have a lot of background noise along with that sound. That background noise will prolong for a few second after finishing the tone it's supposed to make, then goes back to being silent.
For example, if I start typing on my keyboard, the phone obviously will play the key sound. The background noise will start but then will go back silent a few second after I finish typing.
I recently picked up a 9790 from Telus and I have noticed that it is randomly losing sound on outgoing and incoming calls. With outgoing calls it dials out fine and connects to who I am calling but I don't hear the ringing when the call goes out and I can't hear the person on the other end when it connects. When I receive a call I hear my ringtone but when I answer it I can't hear the person on the other end.The only way I can talk to someone when it is acting like this is to switch from headset mode to speaker.I played around with my phone and sound but could not find a fix. The only thing that works is a battery pull but even that is only temporary. So far the longest I can go is two days before I have to do another pull.
Any ideas on what could be wrong or should I just take the phone back and get a new one? I've heard this is actually an issue with the 9790 so I am a bit worried about replacing it when it could happen again.
I just got my wife the S6 Edge on Verizon this past weekend. While everything seems to be awesome, she is now telling me that she doesn't get a ringing when she dials out unless she puts it on speaker phone. Tried turning off Advanced Calling, multiple reboots, soft reset, and a factory data reset. Nothing seems to fix it.
Is this a setting that I'm missing? Or a bad device?
During Incoming and Outgoing Calls, I have to activate the speaker phone for the person on the other line to hear me. Is this an issue that I can resolve myself (settings or physical dust) or do I need to send my phone in?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have had my xperia x10 for just under a week and whenever I make a call the receiver complains of a spitting noise in the background it is intermittent but nevertheless everyone I call complains about it. I do not hear it myself and have upgraded the software. Do I just have a faulty phone?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have the following Problem on my 9810 with OS 7.1 (but it happend with 7.0 as well). As soon as I perform a call, the handset has a calm flickering noise in the background. Every click of this noise is about half (or less) second long. The noise dissapears, if I switch to the loudspeaker, use BT headset or the cable headset.I first thought, that is is a problem with the headphonejack, as the phone for some reason could think, I am still in headphone mode. Therefore I tried to stick the headphonejack in the plug an d twist an turn an bit, in order to get the problem solved. But it did not.
Further I could find out, that the flickereing noise seems to be parallel with the flickering of the proximity sensor, but I am not sure about this. But I think, that maybe the on and of of the proximity sensor produces the noise.Does anyboday have an idea how I can get rif of this, since it is very, very anyoing.
I am not able to make any outgoing call from my Nokia C7 with Vodafone Sim inside it. After sometime I put some other card and It started working fine. I thought the problem is with Sim hence I put my Vodafone Sim in other phone and It also worked fine.
Whenever I am trying to make call from Nokia C7 with old Vodafone Sim it gives error "NO ANSWER".
But I dont understand that why Nokia C7 is not working with Vodafone Sim which was inside it since I purchased the phone.
For the past week or so, I can not make an outgoing call to save my life. After about 30 tries, my outgoing call would get through. But usually it says "Congestion" and I'm not able to make a call. I did that Alt+L,G,L,G thing to clear the log and that isn't helping. I can do everything else on my phone like text, use the internet, BBM, and I can even receive calls! I just can't call out
