I have tried multiple resets, checked all the settings and the slider switch on the side. I didn't notice there was no sound until I got home from the store with it.

I recently discovered that my iPhone 4s has not been functioning the way it should be. My sound and speaker are not working. I can't even adjust my volume unless I have my headphones. I can't hear my incoming calls and they can't hear me. This happens every so often and its been happening for the past two days. Is there anyway of fixing it? My phone is no longer under Apple's warranty.

View 1 Replies View RelatedNokia 6233 was the loudest phone ever and it still is, and of course the sound was clear and loud. Now Nokia are producing new music phones with the name XpressMusic and pity they arent louder than Nokia 6233.
The 6233 wasnt a music phone but it still its perfect for music, why would someone need a loud phone? Of course for listening to music.
So i was wondering maybe Nokia should make their XpressMusic real, i mean really for music and they defininately need to be loud as 6233.
Does anyone know if Samsung plan to make a proper dock for the SGSII? I like the idea of just having a dock on the side so when I come home I can just sit it in there and it will be connected to my TV/AV system and charging. I know the MHL link will allow this but don't like having cables all over the place!!!

I Have one favorite and it seems to be me from my google+ account. I can find no way to add favorites to this screen even though i have favorites in my contacts menu on the phone.Anyone with a car dock have any luck with this feature?I have tried creating new contacts and modifying existing ones. But when the phone is hooked up to the car dock-which is suppose to help the phone be "hands free"- the sound won't work. In other words, when I get a text and it says, "say Listen to hear your text" I can't ? This also happens when I try to use the navigation. I can see and it works fine, but I can't hear the instructions unless I take it off the dock, which is where I need it to be.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I dock my Atrix in my Laptop Dock it recognizes the Atrix but I'm unable to make or receive phone calls. I tried docking my Atrix during an active call and it continued to stay active but after disconnecting I could not make another call while docked. I use Voice to make and receive calls and even disabled this to see if that was the problem. Is this a setting issue or a bug?

I thought the cradle software was supposed to automatically mute those notification sounds, but there must be something I've not set right somewhere. Anyone know how to fix it?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've searched here and several other forums without success for an answer to how to suppress the notification sound that occurs when inserting the Droid 3 into the HD dock. I did see another thread that seems to mention this but it deals more with ongoing notifications throughout the night and I don't have any problems with that. don't want to use silent mode because I want calls to come through, but I don't want the notification sound to play on insert. I've tried the Bedside dock app becuase it selectively suppresses notification sounds (no email alert, can choose phone or SMS alerts). Bedside works great to handle email notifications but it insn't active until after the dock insert sound has played.This is a real nusiance when my wife is already asleep when I place the phone in the dock.

It vibrates when i get a call and when im using the keyboard but not when i get a notification. I have the vibration for notifications turned on but it doesnt seem to affect anything. I dont get any notification vibration feedback when my phones on vibrate or its on sound.

If I have my headphones plugged directly into the dock itself the volume is considerably lower and have to have the media volume all the way up. When I have the headphones plugged directly into the phone the sound levels are normal. Would really like to be able to just keep my headphones plugged into the back of the dock - how to increase the dock volume?

For the last two days, I havent been able to make or receive calls because I either have no sound or static. I was chatting with AT&T online support and he tried resetting and other various options to fix it but finally advised me to take it in to a store and get a new sim card. I just did that and still, I do not have sound. I havent damaged my phone in any way, I havent dropped it or wet it....I checked to see if its still under warranty but of course, it expired. On several occassions, I've heard my iPhone 4S - while locked and set down flat -- make a sound that is similar to coins rattling or a piece of glass breaking. I checked all my alert sounds and no sound like that is even an option. When I pick up the phone and unlock it after, everything is fine and there's no message displaying.
