Is it not possible to to uae wifi direct with other brands like Samsung S3,5,6 or others? Because im trying to copy some huge file using wifi direct but it was unsuccessful.

He's using the built in Samsung wifi direct and I'm using superbeam (as apparently the M8 doesn't transfer files without third party software. We can connect but as soon as he tries to transfer a file it fails.
We did try Bluetooth but the speed is a joke and it failed part way though anyway. How to send files from a GS5 to an M8 via wifi direct?

I connected my N5 and N7 via wi fi direct successfully and trying to transfer some pictures from N7 to N5. In Gallery app there is NO "Wi Fi direct" option in the "share" menu for the selected picture. So how could i transfer file(s) between my devices?

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy x10i keeps dropping its wifi connection. it is in an "excellent" signal strength area. i can now see that is related to my poor mobile network coverage at home. when the mobile network signal drops, then the wifi turns off and the turns on again, scans and reconnects. when the mobile network connects again (after a minute or two) the wifi turns off, then on again, scans and reconnects. this cycling is happening every minute or two. which leads to lots of frustrating network errors. exact issue described below with Internet clip: [url]. things improve if i turn off 3g and set network to gsm only.

When connected to Wifi it shows connected whereas the the Mobile data sign does not disappear unless as quick. Only after the Mobile data signal is disabled after 10 secs the connection starts working.

Followed all the Pwnagetool guides to the T and when I get to the very last part, I got error message 1600, unable to restore. Surfing around I believe that my iPhone can not be jailbroken? Is that the case? iPhone just gets stuck in DFU or recovery mode and have to restore the iPhone with original apple firmware. On the last try I got a completely black screen and the iPhone only came back to life when I restored it with apple software. Any help is appreciated. I think because I have the lastest bootrom or loader I can not jailbreak as Pwnage tool doesnt support it yet. DAMN! I wanted Proswitcher and Backgrounder.
