Jun 16, 2014I'm trying to get my mates GS5 and my M8 to play ball (or transfer a large file) with wifi Direct. Used to work fine when we were both using Samsung phones but not when I'm on the m8.
He's using the built in Samsung wifi direct and I'm using superbeam (as apparently the M8 doesn't transfer files without third party software. We can connect but as soon as he tries to transfer a file it fails.
We did try Bluetooth but the speed is a joke and it failed part way though anyway. How to send files from a GS5 to an M8 via wifi direct?

There are a few applications I'd like to uninstall though like the "Lets Golf" app if anyone can point me at how to do this I'd be grateful.
Further I'm not keen on having to sync and backup through Google, I would much rather do this direct to my PC without going anywhere near the cloud

Sep 15, 2011My XPeria X10 is not charging since 24 hours and it is prompting by asking charging phone, connect phone and other option and nothing was acknowledged after selecting any three of the options. I dont know why? I bought this phone with lot of passion(since it is sony made) 10 months back and i really regret of buying this phone now.It doesn't has any warranty as it is bought from Singapore and i'm in India now. Please help me out with a solution apart from suggesting me to go to Sony Ericsson Service Center(They only discuss commercials despite of criticality of the part which is failed and no customer service is to be expected). The phone support is one more farse that the technician will be a very normal person and he only suggest to take the phone to nearest sony ericsson service center without even listening to your actual problem.
