Can unlocked t-mobile 8320 phones on the at&t network access BIS?I can not get mine to work and I feel like I have tried everything in the book. We just bought it so I am trying to see if the phone came to use broken.

I am new to all of this stuff, and i just bought a used at&T curve 8310, i have tmobile and when i put my sim card in it reads my contacts and "t mobile" reads at the top of the screen but i cant make calls.
please help i have no idea what i am doing with this stuff.
I have the 8330 on the Sprint network. This would not be a problem but it does not automatically turn it back on when I charge the battery. Is there any way to set it so it automatically turns it back on when the battery charges?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had my BB curve for almost a year - and have to regularly synchronize to get emails; but for the past 3 days I have not been able to access net work - even to check emails to see if connection needs updating. just keep getting the same message: unable to connect to the selected provisioning server. when i turn off, pull battery, the turn on - the BB looks like it is trying to synchronize and connect, but it quits after a few seconds.

1) I was looking at my buddies phone, and his keyboard doesn't light up. Is there a setting somewhere? Or is it possible this its just not working properly? I've owned plenty of bb's but never ran into this before. So I'm thinking something is wrong with the phone.
2) Is there a way to toggle between 2 profiles? I know how to do it with other bb's, but I can't figure it out on his phone.

View 4 Replies View Relatedmy curve 8320 keeps rebooting randomly. I got it 2nd hand from a guy. It will reboot randomly, be it while running an app or just sitting still on the table. Even while recharging. I have tried everything from formatting my memory card to running on minimal apps added into my bb. I have also upgraded and downgraded the OS frm v4.5.0.124(which it came with) to .81 to .182.I haven't tried using a new battery,maybe that will help? or is it a hardware prob, which would cost alot to repair.=( Please help? It goes to blank(no light on), and the only way I can turn it back again is to take out the battery from the cell phone and put it back again.Now I can't even do the same thing and turn it on anymore! I have many rigtones that i have made on my MC, I aslo understand the process of highlighting a contact in the address book & pushing the app button & selecting add custome ring tone. The problem is it gives me two options, (Device Memory & Preloaded Ring Tones) it doesn't allow me the option of searching the media card witch is where the rigtones that i want are stored. I have loaded a new OS, have done multiple swipes, a have done multiple battery pulls, multiple host routing table registrations, have reentered my PIN and IMEI number at the att BIS login multiple times, have sent service books multiple times, and then just generally fulled around with the settings ALOT.I have switched my SIM card into someone elses phone which showed 'EDGE' and their SIM card into my phone which showed 'edge'.
Is there any hope for me? What can I do? What should I do? Also I want to thank BigbadWulf for the helpful OS installation instructions. I would link it but I'm a big newb and thus don't have the privilege.

I have a Blackberry Curve 8320. Yesterday night, the "battery too low for radio use" sign appeared. I plugged it in for about an hour but the sign would not disappear so I did a battery pull. Radio turned back on, but now the phone will not charge. The lightning icon still shows up by the battery but it is stuck at 5%. Any suggestions?

My T-mobile 8320's trackball has learned the new trick of only working when the phone is in bright light!The symptoms: If the keyboard light is on, the trackball doesn't work. If the keyboard light is off, the trackball works normally. The trackball light never goes off, but stays at least dim even when the screen is blanked and the keyboard light is off. In fact, it is on even when the phone is in the holster.The phone has never been abused, nor experienced water or anything.
I've done the battery pull to no avail, and played with the keyboard/trackball settings and the backlight settings with the same results.T-Mobile says to try a master reset. I'll do that after I figure out what data is on my phone that will need replacing.

I got recently Verizon BB Storm 9530 and I unlocked it. I have my unlocked BB Storm 9530. But I am trying to connect to my storm browser it says some error. It says I shuld contact to my service provider or something like that so I cant use network on my storm.I contaced my service provider in Estonia also (Tele2 Estonia) and they said they can't do nothing because they dont have experiences with Blackberry.
