Sep 10, 2014I recently discovered that my iPhone 4s has not been functioning the way it should be. My sound and speaker are not working. I can't even adjust my volume unless I have my headphones. I can't hear my incoming calls and they can't hear me. This happens every so often and its been happening for the past two days. Is there anyway of fixing it? My phone is no longer under Apple's warranty.

Apr 12, 2015I switched from my s4 to the s6 and I am having bluetooth complications with my pioneer avh p4400 headunit. I did some google-ing around and found that a a few others are having the same problem but seeing as the phone came out a few days ago not everyone is inquiring about it. Bluetooth audio does not auto connect/play like it did on the s4 and there is no song info/description displayed which then renders the track skipping buttons useless on the headunit. I found an app to fix the auto connect issue at least.
I am using Google play music so this is kind of unusual. I am not sure if it is an s6 only issue having something to do with the new touchwiz or if android 5.0 is using different bluetooth protocols than prior. Everything is updated to the latest firmware. I was debating on upgrading to the 4100nex but if this issue is going to be present there also I would rather not have an extra expensive paperweight.

Jul 12, 2011i have a GSII and recently bought a Lexar 32GB Micro SDHC class 10 to put my music on. I have a Sony bluetooth head unit in my car which acts as my hands free and the added bonus of connecting to my music on my phone thus having no need to change CD's or have your friend be a DJ next to you. This worked perfectly with my previous Sony Ericsson W995 phone however now I have the GSII these two things happen: -
1) I might be imagining it but I think I hear crackling in the music when playing over the bluetooth, might just be my speakers but can't remember conciously hearing and noting this to myself on my old phone and when my mate connects his 3GS iPhone to it there doesn't seem to be this problem?
2) There are definite, noteworthy interruptions in the playback over the sound system however the music hasn't been paused on the phone and so I miss bits of the songs! This is both unusual and annoying as you can imagine!

Nov 6, 2015When I have my headphones plugged in, the music plays both in them and still comes out from the phone. This also happens with conversations... When my headphones are plugged in, the sound from the other person speaking comes out loudly from the phone, so everyone can hear it! This does not happen when the headphones are not connected. Then the sound just comes from the phone, and conversations are more quiet.

I have tried different headsets, earplugs and speakers, the problem is the same with all of them. I have tried looking at the settings, both on my phone and other applications. I have also googled it, and I have tried to restart my phone.  And I have checked if they really are inserted correctly. What I can do? I just want to hear my music in piece and keep my conversations for myself.

Jan 22, 2012im trying to figure out whats wrong with my photon, its been almost a month and when i get a notification (email,text,ect) i dont find out untill hours after i recived it because my phone doesnt vibrate. It vibrates when i get a call and when im using the keyboard but not when i get a notification. I have the vibration for notifications turned on but it doesnt seem to affect anything. I dont get any notification vibration feedback when my phones on vibrate or its on sound.

Few days ago:
Situation: Must go from A to B by train.
Problem: Don't know when train comes.
Solution: Nokia 5800 web browser, train time table site.
Obstacle: "Memory Full. Please go and jump out of your window"
Solution II: Not using Nokia.
Two days ago:
Situation: Three electricity counter readings must be submitted.
Problem: No paper and no pen in pockets, only Nokia.
Solution: Take a photo, simple as that.
Obstacle: Tried to view the photo, but the media button randomly didn't work. Restarted and it works again. Now why would a media button randomly stop working??
Obstacle II: Phone is restarting for ages.
Solution II: Not using Nokia. Use -- paper!!, simple as that.
Some time ago:
Situation: Need to know what time is it.
Problem: No watch on my hand, only Nokia in pocket.
Solution: Unlock the keypad and see what time is it.
Obstacle: On sliding the touch lock the screen goes black and the phone starts to vibrate and does not stop, making me embarrassed to the people standing by, because now I have vibrating **bleep** in my hands!!!!
Solution II: Take out the battery, consider putting the phone in the trashbin, not using Nokia.
Ask what time is to the old lady while Nokia restarts as the old lady crosses the WHOLE COUNTRY!!
Not so long ago:
Situation: Must make an important phone call.
Problem: People don't make phone calls by brainwaves, now do they?
Obstacle:Made the phonecall, said "Hello" and <zappp>, no more phonecall, the phone randomly restarts. Now it never had been so bold before this.!! I thought it has a phone call protection against rebooting during a phonecall, but NOOOOO, it of course doesn't wooork.
Solution II:Not use Nokia.
Yesterday:
Situation: Insurance company must have sent me an invoice.
Problem: Out of curiosity can't resist checking email while mobile.
Solution: Open e-mail account, press the Connect button.
Obstacle: The Connect button does not respond.
Solution II: Press it harder, TWICE!!!!
Obstacle: The screen fades out and the phone restarts.
Solution III: Not use Nokia.
Before a week:
Situation: Must find an address I don't know, and reach it.
Problem: Don't know where it is.
Solution: Use Nokia Maps, oh excuse me, OVI maps.
Obstacle: The search returns no results. Now, how can you not find this??? Blahblah street 143 - what's there not to find??
Solution II: Not use Nokia, use Google Maps (definitely not on Nokia). Found it.!!

Situation: Let's enjoy some great music on this not-nokia-sony-ericsson Bluetooth headset by using the ultra-fabulous NokiaTrashPress XMusicPerience, it's supposed to be great, isn't it?
Solution: Pair Headset to Nokia 5800, and turn on the music player.
Success!! - it works ow wowowowowowowwowow i'm so freakin' excited.
Obstacle: The second track made no sound.
Solution II: Check what's wrong.
Obstacle II: The media player has shut down by itself.
Solution III: Not use Nokia!!!!!
And I could write many more of these..Now, I have performed countless hard resets, trying to optimize every little bit. SOO little applications installed!!Symbian platform brings a great idea within itself. But it just doesn't work on Nokia phones..Didn't Nokia invent this Symbian? Then why doesn't it work???And this has been so far my experience with any Nokia Symbian phone regardless of the price, regardless of the market segment, regardless of the phase of the moon.And I am very suspicious that the same is going to be with Symbian^3 5 7 9 whatever...I just don't care anymore...My next cellphone budget goes to either Apple or Windows mobile, Android, HTC or anything else that's not Symbian and not even close to a NOKIA, because Nokia it's just a parody of a cell phone, no wonder why the USA and Japanese market doesn't love Nokia, not just because most of them are very ugly, just because they don't work...
HTC One M9 :: Original Headphones Not Working On Device But Work On Other Phones?
Dec 1, 2015I was trying to listen to music as usual using the orginal headphones that came with the M9, however it did not detect it and the sound played through speakers instead. So I tried them in three different phones and they worked just fine, so then I thought it was the jack socket, but I tested two different headphone (Phone and computer) and by some miracle both worked. So now I'm seriously confused whose fault is it? The headphones or the socket?
I managed to get the headphones working on the M9 for about 20 seconds before they stopped working again, I did it by pressing harder and fiddling with the cable, but now it won't work at all, despite the other headphones working just fine.

May 6, 2011I'm stuck in the 80s with a corded phone again. It works fine if it's plugged in. But when I unplug it and try to use it, a white screen will flash and then it turns off completely. It automatically tries to reboot, but fails on most occasions. I have to hard reboot to get it to work again and still have to have it plugged in. Anyone have ideas on how to get this to work??

Apr 17, 2010My sons Nokia was recently repaired under an insurance claim for water damage. After approx 2 weeks of recieving the phone back from the insurers the phone starting bhaving eratically - not allowing him to play music, showing the phone was charging when it wasnt plugged in. Well before i had chance to do anything about this the phone is now completly unresponsive, it turns on and off but when it is on none of the keys work, the touchpad doesnt work when you slide the screen up and down it does nothing. Does anyone know if this is something likely to be linked to the repair or if it is likely to be a seperate problem with the handset (possibly covered under warrenty) and just a coincednce?

Sep 13, 2015I seem to be caught in between a rock and a hard spot When ever my wife sends me an MMS on her I-Phone 5 I get the text immediately, but if she includes a picture it takes up to 25 minutes to get that picture in the galaxy default messaging app. We are on an AT&T Plan with unlimited texting in the Pacific North West. This is an ongoing problem since the release of the galaxy 6. I called my AT&T guy and he says it's an ongoing problem with I-Phones and Galaxy phones and as far as he knew there was no fix yet. I would like to be able to receive text and pictures (mms) from an I-Phone without having to wait 20-25 minutes for the picture to be downloaded. Also, If I chose to have Wi-Fi turned on, the picture never comes in on my phone, I have to turn Wi-Fi off to even receive the picture at all.
