It is a HTC one mini s2 which I got a week ago, whenever I plug headphones in and listened to music and unplug the earphones the internal speakers no longer work for anything, not sure what to do?

Mi Xoom has stopped playing any sound through the internal speakers. They worked fine in the beginning, but a week ago they were muted for games, video and music. However, i do get the sound through headphones.The speakers are not broken, as i get notification and alarm sounds normally.I tried the factory resetting, but without success...Problem might have come up when i tried headphones for the first time or when downloading some volume control app -unfortunately i cannot say precisely when the problem occurred.

I'm playing music with headphones plugged in, Whatsapp notification sound plays through speakers.
That's fine.
BUT suddenly during notification, the music ALSO plays through the speakers for a few seconds! This is really frustrating because I receive messages throughout the day and don't want everyone around me to be disturbed with what I'm listening to (in library, on bus, etc.).
Nothing I try works.
Before Lollipop, Whatsapp notification would play on speakers and audio still through headphones. That was fine.
Just wondering if this is a bug or intentional? Whenever I have my headphones plugged in and I get a text notification (or any notification really) the noise plays through my headphones and through my speakers on my N5. Is this intentional and is there any way to stop this? I only want the noise coming through my headphones when they're plugged in.

I have a problem with my Lumia 610. Everything worked fine until the earphones stopped working even though they're connected. I'm sure it's not them causing the problem because I've tested the phone with other earphones and it wouldn't recognise them as well. When something is played the sound simply comes from the speaker. The FM radio also doesn't work and shows information that earphones are not connected.

I don't want another pair of them, I'm looking for an alternative set of in-ear earphones with a mic. Can anyone suggest something that has been tested with an N900? I bought a pair of Klipsch S2m earphones which had been suggested, but they don't work, they make a strange and loud clicking noise, so it seems the N900 is sensitive about which earphones/headsets work.Ideally I'm after earphones that have a cable, so I can use them on an aeroplane. Don't mind if they are Bluetooth too, as long as wired use is possible. I don't mind if special buttons don't work, as long as the audio and mic work correctly.Can anyone suggest anything that has been proven to work in practice?

The device simply doesn't always react on the pressed key. I sometimes need to press the middle button on the Purity few times for the song to Pause or Resume. Same issues I experienced with the Original Nokia's Earphone. I've been using several Nokia Lumia 800 devices and I experienced same issue on all of them.

The sound still comes through the phone speaker.his can be sorted with a factory reset or briefly removing the battery. When operating ok the little headphone icon appears at the top of the screen and headphones sound great. But it does not remain operational!I found that the fault appears whenever I put plug the phone in for a charge with the phone switched off (as recommended). Last night I repeatedly switched the phone on whilst it was charging and checked the phone with headphones about every hour about 4 times and it worked every time. View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought this phone specifically for listening to music, however it has a fatal flaw for me.I plug in the Nokia supplied earphones with or without the remote control, or standard earphones of any kind and the radio picks up stations and MP3's play beautifully.For 30 seconds.
Then the earphones disconnect or the radio stops playing and tells me to connect the wired headset, though it has not been disconnected or even budged on the table.I then stop the MP3 player or radio. Still not unplugging the earphones, and they miraculously reconnect again..I have just tested it and this happens with phone calls as well.I have updated the firmware to 10.01 and everything else works fine, just this disconnecting problem.

All media on the phone won't play sounds through the built in speakers but when I plug in the earphones I can hear it. When I connect the phone to the pc and it sync to iTunes and disconnect the sound comes back but after a while it just goes again. The Os is up to date.

I washed my iphone 4 and had it replaced with iphone 4s. After 1 month of usage, the speakers now only work when the phone rings, using speaker phone, or Siri.No sound emits when using iTunes or playing movies, Netflix, etc. I plug in my earbuds and sound works for all apps and the sound bar at the bottom of the screen is visible - when I unplug the earbuds, the sound bar disappears.
