Maybe the solution is staring right at me, but I can not figure out how to use the phones internal speakers for music playback that's loud enough to hear? When I use the speaker option for hands free phone calls, it's loud and you can clearly hear, but not so with playing music or a video.

Phone rings BUT no music or video sound of the internal speaker Iphone 4s shows that it either can play on apple tv or dock connector. Dock connector is check but I don't own a dock connector.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMi Xoom has stopped playing any sound through the internal speakers. They worked fine in the beginning, but a week ago they were muted for games, video and music. However, i do get the sound through headphones.The speakers are not broken, as i get notification and alarm sounds normally.I tried the factory resetting, but without success...Problem might have come up when i tried headphones for the first time or when downloading some volume control app -unfortunately i cannot say precisely when the problem occurred.

The weird part is phone calls work perfectly through the bluetooth speakers, but throw doesn't work when playing music. The device also seems confused - the throw icon is highlighted in cyan, and the device under the menu is also highlighted, but the audio continues to play through the phone's speakers.
It has the same behavior with my UE BOOM speaker and with my car's system (mObridge MOST). My phone's software build number is 17.1.1.A.0.402.
I just buy the chrome Z5P. It is a pretty good phone. 4K mon, good design.
However, the music performance is worse than Z3. The background noise is too obvious.
I can play the files through the file manager but not the google play or the default music player. I have even downloaded third party music players with no luck. I tried moving the files around to the default music folder, and even the folder with the samsung song that came with the phone. No luck.
My last phone (nexus 4) recognized the files instantly, even found the album art and organized all of them no matter where the files were located. I really don't understand what the problem is, I thought this was supposed to be an upgrade.
Would putting the files on a micro SD card work at all?
My iPhone won't play any music thought the speakers but will work with headphones or auxiliary cords but ringtones still work.

I am new to the mp3 world. I am trying to play the music app through my car stereo using the headphone jack and the cars Aux port. The issue I am having is the vocals are horrible. Can barely hear them and they sound like I am in a empty hall. When I am listening out of the phone speaker all sounds fine. Should I be connecting a different way? Or is there a setting I am missing somewhere? I tried playing with the built in eq but not much difference.

If I am listening to music and send a text it will stop the music for a second or so, then start playback up through the speakers then switch back to the headphones.
Now if I am having a conversation with someone via text this is quite irritating as sat on the bus and every so often my phone just plays music quite loud for a second before going silent.
I use poweramp and have tried the audio focus options there but I never had this issue on my older s4 with poweramp also. I am having to resort to just not listening to music at all.

My iPhone 4 has not been able to play music or video through my speakers. It thinks it is still connected to my iHome, so it trys to play anything through the charge port which of course no sound comes out. Can anyone help me with this issue? I can still play through my headphones and it will play through my Apple TV if I tell it to, but I just can't get any sound to come through the speakers.

However, when I plug in external speakers to my phone, the music sounds like it does through headphones. When I remove the speakers from the phone, the music plays louder than when I have speakers plugged in.

My Galaxy S6 keeps randomly pausing music playback while I have it connected to the aux input in my car for no apparent reason. Phone is rooted on the stock AT&T Rom and has been restored via ODIN twice without any change. It did this before root as well without change. I have disabled nuplayer in the dev settings and tried resyncing my library multiple times thinking it was due to corrupted files. This clearly is a samsung issue and seems to be apparent with older generations of the Galaxy series as well. Having to keep fiddling with the damn phone while I'm driving to unpause the music, raise the volume past the warning, just to do it again a few minutes later. Tried the stock music app as well as doubletwist, no changes. Could this be caused by some motion sensing feature that needs to be disabled?

I am using an audio cable to connect my torch to my car's Aux jack. Once connected, music won't play through my car's speakers. It only plays through phones speakers.

I assumed it had come to the end of what had downloaded so far but now any music and podcasts I listen to are muffled (like they have too much bass) and they stop and start when I use the external speakers. The sound quality before was so good! Playback is fine when I use the headphone jack. I installed all updates and restored the phone, but to no avail.
