Does anyone know if Samsung plan to make a proper dock for the SGSII? I like the idea of just having a dock on the side so when I come home I can just sit it in there and it will be connected to my TV/AV system and charging. I know the MHL link will allow this but don't like having cables all over the place!!!

View 3 Replies View RelatedI downloaded SwiftKey-X...and every time I reboot the phone..the dock first loads some of my apps..usually the last downloaded apps.Example..i switch the phone on, and where my contact/messaging/phone icons are..are now, FireFox, and 2 or others.This eventually fixes itself after about 15 seconds.If i remove SwiftKey, then this doesn't occur at all.

This is very annoying as it just ends up trying to listen to whatever music the radio is playing and then tries to work out what I want it to do.
I want it to sit there, charge and shut up lol... If I want voice activation i will launch that myself.
I just came from an Archos 5 Internet Tablet, which means that I'm pretty savvy with android, but several things are different (e.g. orientation, manufacturer's modifications).So, I have a few queries, the most important is about backgrounds.I am a keen photographer, and I was wondering what is the best way to crop a background on photoshop, so that it slides right into the homescreen with no trouble.I am guessing for the background, it would be 800px high, or perhaps less, depending on whether it is overlapped by the status bar or whether it begins underneath. If I wanted a non-moving background I would guess I'd want 480px across, but what about if I want a moving one?

I switched the airplane mode on in the plane and when I turned that mode offf, I got the message 'emergency calls only', which prevents me from making any calls. I bought a Danish SIM card but I got the same message. I have another phone with me (some old Alcatel) and both SIM cards work pretty fine there.

I can't even noticed it has vibrated (since it vibrates only once, comparing with a phone call). I have some programs like skype and viber which also can't listend if someone calls me.

I've set my location service for "high Accuracy" and still have to manually reset the location (and, often, force a reset) when I go from one place to another. This is silly and downright annoying. What else can be done?

The message goes away and my phone goes back to home screen. I can't make any calls. I can receive a call and text. When I text the contact list comes up, but not when I try to make a call. When I dock my Atrix in my Laptop Dock it recognizes the Atrix but I'm unable to make or receive phone calls. I tried docking my Atrix during an active call and it continued to stay active but after disconnecting I could not make another call while docked. I use Voice to make and receive calls and even disabled this to see if that was the problem. Is this a setting issue or a bug?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought the Atrix just for the docks (I have the car and lapdock) and after spending that much money I expect better from Motorola. I've updated to gingerbread if that help. The car dock hasn't rebooted the phone as much as the lapdock does but my lapdock is now useless.

View 2 Replies View RelatedToday I woke up and it said a photo sharing cable was plugged in and there was nothing plugged into it. So I restarted my phone and then it wouldn't keep any app open for more than 5 seconds and it would exit out of it and didn't let me use the back button but the left one and the home button still worked. It also keeps saying the dock is connected when it isn't and when I tried charging it it kept not charging after a couple of seconds. Restarted again and this problem continued and then my phone said it was overheating but it wasn't even hot and it would turn off and now every time I turn on the phone within 5 minutes it says it is overheating and shuts down but it is cool as a cucumber.
Also it won't let me charge it because the battery is "too hot" and it's only at 30% so should I take it back to verizon?
As of this morning, my phone no longer charges using the supplied Samsung charger. Additionally, when I UNPLUG the cable from my computer or the wall, I receive a notification saying "The dock is connected" which is obviously odd as I have actually just disconnected the cabling. Along with this message, the docking audible is heard when plugging in the charger on either the computer or the wall.
When I plug into my computer, the phone is no longer recognized as a USB device either which makes it difficult to back anything up at this point.
I do not have the lighting bolt or any blinking LED's while the charging cable is plugged in.
So far I have done the following to troubleshoot
- tried different cable on both the computer and wall
- power cycled the phone multiple times
- checked for system updates. I am up to date.
- cleaned / blown out the charging port
- cleared system cache
I have not yet done a factory reset for obvious (last resort) reasons.
When I use other digital devices I usually have to safely reject the devices. But when I plug in my iPhone 4, I don't see an option on the computer for me to safely reject. Is it ok to just pull the phone out?

The prl loads and shows up in the Phone's info file however when I check it in LGDownload it shows the 3010 prl but a SID/NID of 22/8 (verizon) After 4 days of knocking the settings around. I am now seeking insite and direction
