After updating to iOS 5.1.1 I no longer have the repaly and shuffle icons in my itunes. How do I correct this?

When I open my music app, there should be the replay and shuffle buttons on the top of the app, under the song title, but the other day they disappeared after I downloaded a podcast. I have restarted my phone, updated, and restored, but nothing has fixed it. I can still choose shuffle from the playlist screen, but if i choose a specific song, it won't let me shuffle.

i'm posting this because someone else posted about it but the subject wasn't precise. on our iphone 4 with 5.1.1 there is no replay or shuffle icon. i just checked my daughter's ipod touch 4g with 5.1.1 and the icons are there. is anyone else missing the icons on their iphone?

I have been using iOS5.1 (iPhone 4s), but i suddenly realise that I cant find the repeat and shuffle as well as the airplay options. I have been using the repeats etc so I do know where it is. I just cant access them anymore. This is following yesterday's episode of yahoo mail nightmare. I have done the reset settings, and the home+off button but no help, still no repeat.

on my iPhone 6 and iOS 8.1.1 since 01DEC2014 I see the followi problem:
When updating my apps in the App Store I no longer see the app's icon and all related fotos within the updated app.
The app is updated and works fine.
All apps updated before 01DEC2014 are displayed properly in the App Store.
On my iPad running on iOS 8.1.1 everything is fine, too.

Whenever i update an app and (in the app store) there is a new icon.. i never actually get the new icon it stays the same as the one i previously had..the only app that updates the icon for me is Pocket God and i know that there is a problem because in the description for the app's update it says "new icon"arrgh i dont kow if this is making any sense, but is there any way to make sure your apps have the most recent app icons? The unlock slider behaves the same way. ITunes says that the phone is updated to the last version. There simcard has not been locked by the provider. Is this a bug in this software update?

after updating my iphone to ios 5.1.1, i no longer have sound. i have checked to make sure the sound options are on, and they are. the side buttons don't even allow me to increase/decrease volume. when i try to play music from my ipod/spotify/Internet etc. there is no sound, and there is no volume bar at the bottom of the screen. i am not sure what to do.

I just installed Vlingo 4.5 and now the missed call, calendar etc icons no longer appear at the top of my screen. I have done a battery pull and when booting up the icons will flash up on the screen but then disappear again. Has this ever happened to anyone? Anyone know how to fix this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo about 20 minutes ago I connected my iPhone to my computer and iTunes prompted me to update it. I accepted, but as it was applying the updates some type of error popped up. Long story short, it failed to update and now when I turn on my phone it's frozen with the screen showing the USB cord & iTunes icons. I've tried:
-Shutting it down by holding the sleep/power button
-Shutting it down by holding the Home + sleep/power button
-All of my USB ports on my computer
-Reinstalling iTunes
As soon as I turn it on, it briefly shows the Apple icon then it goes back to the same screen with the iTunes/USB icons. When I connect it to my computer it makes the connection sound but it won't register on iTunes.
Is there a way to rearrange icons for apps on phone and ipad in iTunes while having multiple screens open. It looks as if you can only move apps when you double click one screen, but then you don't see the other screens so it is kind of hard to put apps on different screens according to kind....
Is it really that much of a pain to move icons? It is for me now...Or are there video's available for people who need visual clues?

I performed a factory reset today to remove MySpace from my phone (I was unable to remove it any other way) and now I am having an issue with my phone.A number of my notification icons are now showing in gray instead of in color. The two that stand out the most are email notifications from POP emails (the red stamp) and from Gmail. Each of these now shows as a gray icon. This is minor, but annoying that my phone is behaving differently than it should. I am running 2.3.4 and have tried multiple resets (full resets removing all data and media)

I was syncing my iPhone 5S to iTunes on my laptop when I noticed that suddenly two important icons were missing from my iPhone's Home Page: the App Store icon as well as the iTunes Store icon. I just bought the iPhone 5c. When I plugged it in to my old itunes it synced all of my old music. I wanted to start fresh so i made an icloud account and deleted all of those songs. I then signed on with my new account. After this, itunes will no longer display my phone as a device.
