BB Bold 9000 :: Unable To Register Email And No BBM Display Photos?

I'm running 5.0.0.314 with Blackberry messenger 5.0.0.57.First of all, when i try and backup my blackberry messenger contacts it says it will send a confirmation email to my email address, but it just stays pending forever. I never recieve the email. (not in junk or deleted) I am however able to recieve emails on my blackberry device whenever my email account does recieve an email.Secondly everyone on my blackberry messenger list doesnt show their display pictures nor does display picture changes on the other end of my contacts.Anyone know how I can fix this or is this an issue?

Since two days, I am unable to register my professional e-mail. In the configuration, I enter my e-mail adress and enter the password received from Administrator. The message error says: no reply from company server The IT team, cancelled the account and re-create a new one with password and I still have same problem.The opertaor Maroc Telecom couldn't help me; they say I need to provide the password of the company's server; information I can't provide?

I have a Bold 9000, bought new and unlocked about 3 years ago. It was working fine with all services like BBM and push email working flawlessly on Idea Cellular. While out of town, my Bold 9000 seemed to run out of battery and wouldn't turn on even after attempting to charge it. It would continue to flash 11110000, where 1 indicates a flash of red LED and 0 meaning LED off. Once home, I had to reload the OS on the device. I have the latest OS5 running of the system. And since the device was security wiped, the settings were set to the defaults. But the handset fails to register and instead of 'EDGE' it shows 'edge' or sometimes 'GSM'. I am however, able to make phone calls and send/receive text messages. So far I have tried the following: 1. Hard reset the device numerous times and after every change of settings, leaving the battery out for 2-10 minutes 2. Ensured that the firewall is off 3. Send registration message from Host Routing Table, which is empty 4. Manually set the APN to 'blackberry.net' in TCP/IP 5. Enabled Data, Data roaming and network is 2G only. I have called up Idea customer care and they ensure that my services are working fine and asked me to only perform the steps listed above. This was confirmed by using my Idea sim card on a friend's Torch 9800. Her handset is successfully registered using my sim card and can use BB services. I tried her Airtel sim card and my Bold still failed to register on that network.

after I restored my blackberry after upgrading my OS I can't seem to get any email or wifi access.My HRT table has absolutly nothing. When I resgister now It doesn't have any respond other than registration sent.
What can I do to get all of my service books and get my email again.Or how can I re-register my hotmail and yahoo mail back into my blackberry?

i am trying to register on my carriers BIS webpage, via a browser on a pc.i get the following error,Your account is not accessible via HTML browser. Please use your device to access BlackBerry Internet Service.i can access email settings on the device and configure email, however i prefer to do this via a webpage.in the email settings app on the device, when i press the menu button i dont get the create user account as outlined here blackberry support doc ?my 9780 is on OS 6, and i guess the support doc linked above was written for a previous version of BIS?

The auto-display has stopped working on my Bold 9000 for just text messaging. I am not sure what the exact name of the feature is, but it automatically displays an incoming text or email provided I remove the phone from the holster with in a few seconds of its arrival. I use the flip-top holster that came with the phone.
The feature is still working for email, but not working for texting.
It may seem like a small thing, but this is one of my favorite things about this phone. Its smart, it knows that I am looking at my phone when it vibrates so I can see what text or email I just received. I like not having to click an extra button to see an incoming text.

I have been using Bold 9780 for a year now without a problem. Because I Changed my password for my email account (Gmail) yesterday, I needed to update it on my Bold also. But when I tried to access Email Account Management, I got a message "Unable to open email setup application. Contact your wireless service provider". I did, and they told me that the only remedy would be to clean install the operating system. As I would like to avoid this, I searched the web a bit, and found the advice to setup my email account online. I tried this, but got an error message saying that my device was not registered, although I did register it a few minutes earlier (Houst Routing Table -> Register now). I re-registered, reboothed the device - same error.

This has happened at least four times, when I listen to my music from the bold it says there is an error. This makes the bold freeze, and the only way it to turn off the bold, which takes forever. Has this happen to anyone else?

coaxed by the desktop app, I changed to 5.00822 on my bb bold 9000 my phone history is now two lines for each entry which i find really annoying; you can only see half as many entries at a time.How to change back to a single line display alludes me - can someone tell where I find that option?

I'm a new user and love my BB. I've just used my camera in a store and want to download the pictures to my PC so that I can view them on a bigger screen but cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this.
I read an earlier post re downloading from a memory card - I checked - I don't have one!
I tried opening the device via My Computer but it tells me to insert a disc in drive F (the one the BB is inserted in already!)

I need some help setting up my Blackberry Bold 9000. I bought it off of Ebay and I have already wiped with memory. I need help setting up my email account and all of that stuff. When i try to set up a personal email address the only option I get is for setting up a Work email. This is what it says "I want to use a work email account with a BLackberry Enterprise Server"

I just got a refurbished Bold after dropping my original one too many times...Now whenever I get an email on my Yahoo! account, I also get a text message from some random number with "Mobile EmailOZMAIL ########" in it, and I have no idea why.
Current OS is 4.6.0.304, I'm on AT&T.

I take new photos on my blackberry 9900 they wont open or display... so the photo shows for the few seconds after i have taken it, then i can send it to someone if i want to within about 5 min of taking it - then if i try to access it later the photo doesnt open and i just get the picture icon instead? The first 30 odd photos I took in the begining are still there but all my newest ones dont open, I have tried downloading them to my computer but then it says :file format not supported on all the defective photos? And i tried restarting, taking out the battery, taking out the memory card??

I have been going through this forum for a while and have tried all of the fixes that I can find to no avail. I have a brand new Windows 7 64-bit machine, that never had the Desktop Manager installed. I have installed version 5.01 off of the web site. Windows is able to see the Blackberry in the Device Manager just fine and I can also see the internal storage available under My Computer and I can access all folders. The Virtual Ports (COM3 and COM4) are also available in Device Manager.
I went through and followed the clean uninstall and reinstall instructions and various other suggestions that I have already seen. For whatever reason, the Desktop Manager still won't see the BB. When going into Options in the Desktop Manager, it shows that USB is selected but still nothing under PIN.I am connected to the straight USB port on the back of the computer and have tried several there.

I am unable to send out emails (inbound emails are ok) after setting up my Bold 9000 for Internet Service email (using the Internet login mode). Device/Host are already registered and Service Books sent repeatedly (via Internet and also directly by the local Operator) but no resolution yet.
1. The service books for the 3 email accounts (yahoo, gmail,...) I set up are 'ticked' OK for the ones tagged as CICAL but those tagged CMIME seems to be deactivated (no entry sign).
2. The device was already wiped out (via repeated login failure) before the email setup steps
3. Although wiped, some earlier corporate settings seems to remain (security policy still showing corporate entity version, user info fields are also blocked and remain blank) - I prefer not to have to wipe the device again due to data and settings already in place. Had the following error when posting. What is it about "to" that's unacceptable? Now the body text of my post has embedded control codes

I am unable to sign in to Yahoo! Messenger and receiving the error "Invalid Yahoo! ID or Password," however I am able to sign in to Yahoo! Messenger on my computer. I have changed my password and re-installed the application but still didn't work. I also tried to reboot device and pull out the battery but still cannot sign in. My Blackberry type is Bold 9000 OS 5 and Messenger installed is version 2.5.125. Need help to solve this trouble and clearly advise.

I am having BlackBerry Bold 9000... i was out of country so i wasnt using my bold for a month now the battery has totaly drained i charged it for 3-4 hrs but no luck then i googled for this and got a method that keep wall charger on and remove the battery and put it in after 30 seconds. This showed up a sceen with battery and a bolt but now the red light glows for 50-60 seconds then the white screen with bolt and battery comes up then screen goes off and red light lit up. this is coming repetedly that is screen.
