Sep 2, 2010I have changed my phone to a blackberry bold 9000, and I have upgrade my plan to a 3gb BIS and it has already been activated. However, my phone is unable to detect the BIS at all.

BB Bold 9000 :: Reload Software 513 - Unable To Detect Phone Through Desktop Manager 4.6
Aug 24, 2010I've got a blackberry 9000 device that I cant seem to reload. My computer (2 of them) have not been able to detect it through Desktop manager 4.6. Some things I've tried were detecting it with Javaloader's USB wipe, but that didn't work as it would not detect. I've tried two separate batteries, still to no avail.
It seems for some reason this blackberry cannot be detected. The device is relatively new, not used for more than a month. I'd love to get this issue resolved with some help.

Jun 19, 2010i got problem with my bold 9000. This morning my bb suddently hang and i tried few times take out the battery but when the phone reboot, it still stuck at date and time popup. ('please confirm current date and time')
I've change to another battery also but still not working.Plan to re-install the OS but when connect to pc, my windows dont even detect the bb.

Jun 6, 2010When I go to option > memory,I only see free space of 100MB,I have got my SDmicro card of 2GB inserted, but it shows: A media card is not presently inserted in the device.And when I receiving a 4MB music file from a friend through BB messenger, its automatically declined and shows: There is not enough space in the folder.How come? How can I overcome this problem?

Jul 11, 2010I have been going through this forum for a while and have tried all of the fixes that I can find to no avail. I have a brand new Windows 7 64-bit machine, that never had the Desktop Manager installed. I have installed version 5.01 off of the web site. Windows is able to see the Blackberry in the Device Manager just fine and I can also see the internal storage available under My Computer and I can access all folders. The Virtual Ports (COM3 and COM4) are also available in Device Manager.
I went through and followed the clean uninstall and reinstall instructions and various other suggestions that I have already seen. For whatever reason, the Desktop Manager still won't see the BB. When going into Options in the Desktop Manager, it shows that USB is selected but still nothing under PIN.I am connected to the straight USB port on the back of the computer and have tried several there.

Jan 20, 2012I want to download app from blackberry world but can't log on using my blackberry id as usual. But when I use my email and pass word to log on blackberry id through blackberry website, it has no problem. I tried to set new password and log on again but I still doesn't work?

Sep 17, 2010I am unable to send out emails (inbound emails are ok) after setting up my Bold 9000 for Internet Service email (using the Internet login mode). Device/Host are already registered and Service Books sent repeatedly (via Internet and also directly by the local Operator) but no resolution yet.
1. The service books for the 3 email accounts (yahoo, gmail,...) I set up are 'ticked' OK for the ones tagged as CICAL but those tagged CMIME seems to be deactivated (no entry sign).
2. The device was already wiped out (via repeated login failure) before the email setup steps
3. Although wiped, some earlier corporate settings seems to remain (security policy still showing corporate entity version, user info fields are also blocked and remain blank) - I prefer not to have to wipe the device again due to data and settings already in place. Had the following error when posting. What is it about "to" that's unacceptable? Now the body text of my post has embedded control codes

Dec 11, 2011I am having BlackBerry Bold 9000... i was out of country so i wasnt using my bold for a month now the battery has totaly drained i charged it for 3-4 hrs but no luck then i googled for this and got a method that keep wall charger on and remove the battery and put it in after 30 seconds. This showed up a sceen with battery and a bolt but now the red light glows for 50-60 seconds then the white screen with bolt and battery comes up then screen goes off and red light lit up. this is coming repetedly that is screen.

Feb 20, 2010I am using AT&T as my carrier and I am unable to connect to internet (Web Browser or e-mail)
without Wi-Fi. I have already tried:
1. Unplug the battery multiple times
2. Host Table Resend
3. Resend Service Books
I am able to make calls etc. but e-mail internet only works when I use my home Wi-Fi connection but not using 3G. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what I could try. I have called AT&T and the only suggestion they gave is to wipe the device which seems rather drastic.
BB Bold 9000 :: Unable To Disable Firewall
May 27, 2010I have a Bold 9000 that 'used' to be on a BES with Enterprise policies and such. I've gone through the company to remove all policies, and have even gone through the trouble of resetting the handheld using JLcmder.Everything was great been using it for about 6 months. I have finally upgraded to OS 5.0 and tried to install Sirius Radio on it, but get the error that my firewall policy will not allow it?
Checking my firewall, I noticed that it is in fact enabled with a lock beside it.I'm not sure if it was always enabled, but would of suspected that both the reset device settings and the removal of the policies would of done this?In any event, I've gone through the JLcmder and reset the settings. This allows me to disable the firewall. However when I try to restore my apps and data, the firewall setting goes back to being enabled and unlockable.Is there anyway to reset this and be able to restore my old data, apps and such without having my backup enable the firewall?
I've also tried backing up a net new config (after the reset device settings), then loading my old backup and trying to copy over the firewall policy (from the net new config) to no avail.On a side note, has anyone who has upgraded to 5.0 notice that their General Settings under their Security Menu has disappeared?

Apr 14, 2010I have BB Bold 9000 (v.4.6.0.303). I upgraded the BBM to verion 5 (5.0.0.57), and cannot send any media files using BBM - whether it's a picture, voice file, you name it. The options simply don't exist in my BBM menu.

The Wireless AP is a Buffalo Nfinity B/G/N and I have several other devices connected, two Wireless N laptops and a Wireless G Ethernet bridge, no issues at all there.The phone sees the network, asks me for the passphrase and tries to connect, but then fails with "Unable to obtain IP address".MAC filtering isn't enabled and the AP is currently set to WPA2-PSK AES but changing that to other options seems to have no effect, same failure message on the Blackberry each time.

Mar 23, 2010I'm running 5.0.0.314 with Blackberry messenger 5.0.0.57.First of all, when i try and backup my blackberry messenger contacts it says it will send a confirmation email to my email address, but it just stays pending forever. I never recieve the email. Sep 9, 2010I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 and was updating the latest application on it yesterday. Due to low battrey my laptop turned off before the sofware was properly installed. I have tried the following:
1) to take out the battrey and switch on the phone and tried to load the sofware again but that does not seem to work as the desktop software does not recognise my phone it says unknown device.
2) I have tried to use the update option in the website but that also does not seem to be working
The screen is showing the following message when turned on: Application permissions: The application saftey driving is attempting to access the phone information. I am unable to move the trackball to the appropiate option.
