BB Bold 9000 :: Unable To Connect To Internet Without Wi-fi
Feb 20, 2010
I am using AT&T as my carrier and I am unable to connect to internet (Web Browser or e-mail)
without Wi-Fi. I have already tried:
1. Unplug the battery multiple times
2. Host Table Resend
3. Resend Service Books
I am able to make calls etc. but e-mail internet only works when I use my home Wi-Fi connection but not using 3G. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what I could try. I have called AT&T and the only suggestion they gave is to wipe the device which seems rather drastic.
I am running 18.104.22.1681. My browser says unable to connect to the internet please try again later. If issue persists please contact your service provider. I have a bis connection andd full service. Email andd viigo both work.
For some unknown reason my Blackberry refuses to connect to my home Wifi. The Wireless AP is a Buffalo Nfinity B/G/N and I have several other devices connected, two Wireless N laptops and a Wireless G Ethernet bridge, no issues at all there. The phone sees the network, asks me for the passphrase and tries to connect, but then fails with "Unable to obtain IP address".MAC filtering isn't enabled and the AP is currently set to WPA2-PSK AES but changing that to other options seems to have no effect, same failure message on the Blackberry each time.
I just bought a blackberry bold and it not connecting to the internet. theres a message that says "unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. if the problem persists please contact your service provider." i did that but it didnt help.
I am using BB Bold9700. Once I connected wifi everything is OK and same time I can browse through it. After 2nd day same wifi showing as connected, then trying to brose showing "Unable to connect to the internet please try again later. I this problem persists please contact your provider"
I am using Blackberry 9900 smartphone with OS version7.0 Bundle 1346 (V22.214.171.1241, Platform 126.96.36.1994)and i was initially able to connect to internet via apps and browser but after a while, i am unable to connect to internet via the application in the phone such as Facebook, Twitter, What's App and etc. I try 3G and wifi with no success but weird thing is i am still able to do web browsing via the blackberry native web browser. Have Google and found user with similar problem in the link [URL]The only way that i can able to use the app again is by taking out the battery and put it back to reboot the device. Then i will be able to use it for 5-8 hours where this problem will happen again.
Im at a hotel in florida and my 9700 connects to the wifi, but when i go to load an internet page it takes about 2 minutes and then says unable to connect to server or something along those lines, the internet works perfectly fine on my laptop.
I am using a Blackberry Bold 9780 for 10 months now, offlate having a difficulty connecting to the internet using Wifi connectivitty. I have not updated any software ever. The device shows it is connected to the Wifi router but when I try to open any websites, returns a blank page.
I'm blackberry 9780 user version 9780/188.8.131.525 and indosat im3 (indonesia) provider with full data plan. Since last night I cannot browse with browser and always get "unable to connect to the internet..." Message. I has restart and pull the batteries but still not work. I still can use bbm, facebook and browsing with opera browser
I recently deactivated my Blackberry Bold 9000 (v184.108.40.2064 operating system) from AT&T since I ported my cell phone number to US Cellular who had better coverage in my region. I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."
I have a bold 9000 and I can not connect to the internet. Carrier is AT&T and I live in the North East (NYC area). Worked fine up until yesterday (Jan 25). Now gmail, facebook, browser - none work. I've tried the battery pull, turning on/off the network, run a diagnostic test from mobile network options. In the mobile network test i get the volling anomolies "Blackberry PIN-PIN: No" and it says can't connect to my email (gmail).
I have realised that my phone is unable to connect to the internet even though I am able to send and receive emails from my phone and my wifi connection is fine. I've tried taking the battery out, resending service books to my phone and I have also went to the register now option in the host routing table but there is no change every time I try to use the internet browser. It loads for a while and then the message "unable to connect to the internet try again later appears".
Using my desktop PC, I found an interesting application on URL... and I would like to get it working on my BB Bold 9000. I have never downloaded an app. I'm pritty new here. How do I get an app installed on my BB? Any reference to info on the web is also welcome.
My current BB works perfectly fine, just that for some reason I cannot open the internet browser. It is 100% connected to the wifi. ( I do not have data plan) But Browser would not open. and leaves a message "your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Serive Book entries". I've tried going to rogers and fido and all, but they all suggests me to go call them instead. Therefore, I did but I ended up calling different departments, but neither of them could get me to the right department. and I'm sick of being pushed around.
I had a Pearl for 2 years and then it broke in July but my mom never stopped paying for the extra 30 dollars for the internet and stuff and then I got a Bold 3 weeks ago and up until like 5 days ago it let me on the internet. It will let me go to a site but then won't let me go anywhere else. For example it will let me go to google.com and then I will google something and it goes to the AT&T world phone page and something pops up and says "A problem occured while trying to render the page" anyone know why it's not working?

At this point I am at a loss for a next step in troubleshooting.
I'm trying to connect via bluetooth my bold 9000 to my 9790.I can pair them Ok, I can access from the menu "connect" on my 9000, but not on my 9790. When I try to connect from my 9000 (as I don't have a choice) I get prompted on the 9790, but when I accept, I get a "connection to blackberry 9790 failed" on the 9000 screen.Weirder, if from the 9000 I try to transfer contacts, it tranfers only the fist contact from my list, even though I enabled the "all contacts" for both devices.
I'm having trouble with my internet. i can use my WAP browser but i do not see my regular internet browser, not even in the options menu. also my bbm does not work. i cannot send or receive bbms. i can send out emails but not receive them. my apps that connect to the internet will not work, ie berryweather, facebook, appworld. i get a message about contacting my provider and upgrading to a service plan that allows me to browse. all this just happened all of a sudden on this phone. i've tried reloading the OS back to the original .167, and numerous battery pulls. nothing seems to work. is there an outage or something? even my wifi wont connect to my internet at home. it says connected but its greyed out.
I'm using Nokia C2-03 from a month When I tried to connect internet on my PC using Nokia PC suite it showing a message "There's a problem with connecting to TATADOCOMO" Even I tried with manual settings but no use While using on mobile it connects well?
I just spoke with those from verizone wireless and they said that a verizon device is unable to connect to the internet outside of USA. My blackberyy 9530 storm bought from ebay is unlocked and works fine on gsm network here in Spain, but i have no internet... i wonder if is because what they said or just my blackberry is mesed up?
I have a blackberry torch 9800, I don't have a data plan. I use a wifi signal with other phones, but my blackberry doesn't allow me to browse or view apps online. The error "unable to connect to the internet please try again later" appears. The phone has a clear signal of the wifi, i've tried various other hotspots, my other phones work perfectly. The blackberry says it's connected to the wifi, but no internet browsing is possible. What else can I do other than rip the battery out to re-boot?
I've had the iPhone 3GS. I've been unable to connect to the internet via 3G. It works perfectly fine via WiFi and I've tried the SIM in a different handset and it works fine, so that's not the problem. Strangely, it does however work in certain instances, for example I can receive WhatsApp messages and some push notifications, but it will not load internet pages, Facebook, Twitter etc. I've also noticed that the battery is running down quicker than usual. I've tried resetting the network settings, along with resetting the phone on several occasions, neither of which seems to have worked.
I've been having some connection problems lately for no apparent reason. One day, my connection settings went hiwire and changed, though no one had fun messing with them. I re-applied the connection settings, but my phone keeps randomly disconnecting from the Internet. I usually turn it off and restart it in order to get connected once again. But in a couple of hours, the problem resurfaces.
i bought Nokia X2-00 last week...unfortunately, the phone can not connect to internet. i've contacted my service provider..they gave me the setting for internet connection..they also advised me to switch off the phone, remove the battery and sim card..but then i still could not connect to internet. i also checked the software using nokia Ovi Suite..since the phone is using the latest software,i reinstalled the software..but then, whenever i tried to connect to internet...these messages would appear 'Link not available' or 'no network connection.unable to download'..
