View 4 RepliesRecently, I upgraded my old os to v4.6.0.304 however though, I lost all my birthday reminders on all my contact list. The birthdays are there in the contacts but is not automatically updated to my calender. Same with my facebook. Before I updated my os, all my contacts + facebook birthday would show but not it doesn't. Isn't blackberry suppose to transfer birthdays automatically to my calender?

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry has worked fine for 13 months. Today I looked up a contact in Outlook on my laptop and I only had 11 instead of the 1200+ I used to have. I still have all the contacts on my device. When I synced my device with my laptop it only synced those 11 contacts. I can't get the other 1200+ into Outlook on my computer. Help!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm running 5.0.0.314 with Blackberry messenger 5.0.0.57.First of all, when i try and backup my blackberry messenger contacts it says it will send a confirmation email to my email address, but it just stays pending forever. I never recieve the email. (not in junk or deleted) I am however able to recieve emails on my blackberry device whenever my email account does recieve an email.Secondly everyone on my blackberry messenger list doesnt show their display pictures nor does display picture changes on the other end of my contacts.Anyone know how I can fix this or is this an issue?

If I download any application that has to do something with the contacts it only picks up the contacts. In sync with the new email. Settings > Options > Applications > Add-On
I can see "BlackBerry AppWorld 1.1.0.33"
But I cant see it anywhere else, and cant open it.
My current BB works perfectly fine, just that for some reason I cannot open the internet browser. It is 100% connected to the wifi. ( I do not have data plan) But Browser would not open. and leaves a message "your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Serive Book entries". I've tried going to rogers and fido and all, but they all suggests me to go call them instead. Therefore, I did but I ended up calling different departments, but neither of them could get me to the right department. and I'm sick of being pushed around.

I need some help setting up my Blackberry Bold 9000. I bought it off of Ebay and I have already wiped with memory. I need help setting up my email account and all of that stuff. When i try to set up a personal email address the only option I get is for setting up a Work email. This is what it says "I want to use a work email account with a BLackberry Enterprise Server"

Current OS is 4.6.0.304, I'm on AT&T.
Recently we both just got on Facebook. I was showing her how you can go into contacts and scroll right and see any status updates. She tried it on hers and it was in the dialer. I opened the drawer and hit the contacts icon and it just opened the dialer under the contact tab. Her phone is stock with Launcher Pro. My phone has Launcher Pro but works fine. I have looked all through her phone and done numerous searches and am unable to find the answer about how to get her back to all contacts. She did do the GB update, but I should still be able to see the contacts outside of the dialer. I can't even create a text group for her.

With this it is possible to synchronize messages, music and pictures. However, when synchronizing the calender or contacts with bluetooth Ovi Suite simply crashes.When synchronizing with the USB cable it gives either the message: "Sync Canceled Could not sync contacts. Reconnect the USB cable to your device or connect via Bluetooth. Then sync again. Error code: 80043c93" When synchronizing the calender it gives the message: "Sync Canceled Could not sync calender items and tasks. Reconnect the USB cable to your device or connect via Bluetooth. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9000 that keeps going to contacts no matter what icon I click on.I tried upgrading the OS and the phone worked fine for about an hour and then went straight back to only going to contacts. The same thing happens when I downgrade.I am unable to make calls or do anything from the contacts list. The phone is basically unusable.
I have tried the upgrade and battery pull and restore from back up.Does anyone have any suggestions of what this could be and how to fix it.

My Blackberry is just 2 months old and the icons for Text Messages and E Mail freezes when I click on them. In face the wholw phone freezes. I have to switch application and try some other Icon to get a response.

I was able to open an email setup confirmation from Blackberry but that is it. In addition I cannot surf the web or connect to the web. Verizon told me a defective phone but all else seems to work fine.Could it be a firmwear upgrade?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been going through this forum for a while and have tried all of the fixes that I can find to no avail. I have a brand new Windows 7 64-bit machine, that never had the Desktop Manager installed. I have installed version 5.01 off of the web site. Windows is able to see the Blackberry in the Device Manager just fine and I can also see the internal storage available under My Computer and I can access all folders. The Virtual Ports (COM3 and COM4) are also available in Device Manager.
I went through and followed the clean uninstall and reinstall instructions and various other suggestions that I have already seen. For whatever reason, the Desktop Manager still won't see the BB. When going into Options in the Desktop Manager, it shows that USB is selected but still nothing under PIN.I am connected to the straight USB port on the back of the computer and have tried several there.
i have a blackberry originally bought from the UK from a store with no contract so it was never registered in the UK. I brought it back to canada and got it unlocked and now am using it on FIDO, no problems with data everythings good.I can't seem to add any international contacts on BBM, well thats a guess, I've only tried adding UK pins and it just stays in pending and the other contact gets nothing, they try adding me and it stays in pending while i get nothing. I can add all canadian pins no problem? I called FIDO they said there is no block on my account of any sorts so it must be on RIMS side, i called rim they tried charging me 49$ to "look into the problem", I dont have 49$ to blow, so is there any other solutions or anything before i am forced to pay it?
