Last week, I found out that all the contacts, bookmarks, email & text messages on my blackberry had been deleted. Since then, I have not been able to send emails. Just now, I was able to send a service book to my phone from the blackberry website. I got emails from 'Activation server' and I confirm that I can now send and receive mails. The challenge now is that I cannot view attachments in my email. Each time I try, the following error comes up: 'MORE REQUEST CANNOT BE COMPLETED. SERVICE BOOK INFORMATION NOT FOUND'
View 4 Replies View RelatedWe purchased two 9800 Torch phones and both are having the same issue. Word, Excel, and PDF files all open fine on the devices. However, some emails will be received with attachments but the phone does not give the open or download attachment options. If you forward the message from the device, the attachment will still be attached. The issue is intermittent and I have not been able to pin down any consistently as I have received several emails with attachments successfully. The emails that will not give the attachment options also do not have the little paperclip on the email icon from the messages view. Again, hen this exact email is forwarded the attachment will arrive at the destination.
BES version 4.1.7.19
Both users had no issues on prior devices with multiple attachments opened daily.
I have a curve 8520 & ever since I upgraded the to OS 5 I have been unable to open email attachments as the option isn't there. I have found out that the Attachment Service is no longer installed on my handset & when connected to the Desktop Manager it is not in the application list so there is no option to install it. How do I go about installing the attachment service?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am unable to open attachments from one individual at a particular company, but I am able to open email attachments from other individuals at the same company. Prior to the start of this problem I was able to open attachments from this individual. I am trying to open these email attachments through my AOL account on my Pearl. I am also unable to open these attachments when I logon to AOL with my laptop; they show up on the new mail list but when I open the email, no attachment shows up. Is this an AOL problem or a Blackberry problem?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from ios ver 4.something to 5.1.1 on my Iphone 4. I can't open any mail attachments (Jpegs, excel, pdf's). When I click on an attachment it shows that it is downloading the file and then when it is done, the attachment icon blinks and nothing happens. It used to work fine before - I have 2 gmail accounts setup on my phone -they've been on my phone for the past 1yr and working fine. Rebooted the phone by pressing home and power. I deleted the accounts and re-installed with no luck. I went into Mail settings and set images to auto load - no luck. Turned wifi on and off I desperately need this for my work - I've been using Safari to login into Gmail.

I upgraded from an N8 to the Lumia 920.I weekly receive work emails which have attached to them either xls, doc or PDF files which I was able to open directly with my N8 with Quick office or Adobe PDF reader. Not only that, I could download and store the said documents straight to my phone and open with the Microsoft apps too.On the Lumia I'm unable to do either, even though this has Office 365.I'm unable to open any attachment straight from email with it's inbuilt office suite.I do own Office 2010 on my PC, but what do I need to do to integrate with Office 365?When I added my email address it just duplicated the account and still didn't open attachments?

#1 when on my internet browser, it sometimes requires me to zoom in and sometimes click a link severel times before it will actually go to that link. I am wondering if its something to do with the new verizon update or if my phone is messed up?
#2 I cannot open any attachments in my email anymore. Any jpeg, pic, or pdf attachments pull up saying my phone does not support those attachments.
Just got a new Tour because the original one had trackball issues. I uploaded everything to my new tour and re-setup my email. Since then I have been unable to open email attachments. View 9 Replies View RelatedI am brand new to the Nokia 710 and I have my AOL email account linked up to the phone. I am able to send and recieve emails just fine.My problem is that when I try to open/download any attachments like a Word or PDF document that are in the emails, they never open. They start to open but never do. I can open these attachements on my old Palm Pixi rather quickly and without any trouble so I know it is not the files that are the problem.
I've searched both this USA forum and the UK one and didn't see anyone else with the same issue... so did I not set up something properly with the phone?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem opening attachments in my emails. They are usually jpg or png files, which I have never had an issue opening before. I choose "open attachment" from the menu, and the little red clock that appears next to the file just stays there. If i click the trackball, i get a prompt to resend the request, but clicking "yes" doesn't do anything. I recently upgraded to leaked OS .662, but I'm not convinced that is the problem because a coworker has OS 4.7.1.40 (original OS) and he is also experiencing the same problem.

Contact your wireless service provider."Now I'm not saying I don't enjoy spending an afternoon chatting with Rogers but is there anyway to fix this without having to waste an afternoon?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have 3 users all with blackberry torches 2 of those users are on Telus Network and connected to BES Express the thrid user is on Rogers Network and not connected to BES Express The Rogers user is able to download any attachment, the Telus users are not. Each user got the same email with the same attachment, a csv file. I know blackberries can't read csv files, but the user can downlad the attachment to the BB and change the extensipon to .txt, then they will be able to open the file. Like I said the Rogers user can do this, but the Telus ones can't. The BES express policy is the default one, which as far as I can tell, is blank.

I was able to forward attachments in email that I received, but all of a sudden today, the email has started to act funny. I was forwarding an email with attachment to my work account, the attachment gone missing when I was sending the email. The content of the email was fine, but just the attachment could not be attached to the email forwarded. it said "No message service configured". This is really strange, as I can still send email out only without attachment.
I wiped my phone to try and restored the data from the blackberry protect.
Cannot understand why my 9790 will not forward email attachments after I have viewed same on my device? Attachment is a pdf which I opened in Basic Viewer not Docs.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have two separate business e mail accounts running on my E75. One uses mail for exchange and the other connects directly. I understand this is the maximum number of accounts I can have, so have to connect to my hotmail account via the web browser. None of that is a problem. The problem is that I can't open attachments sent to me by hotmail on my phone. i can see them at the top of the message but I can't click on them and open them. The phone is normally good at opening attachments on my work e mail addresses (word, excel, pdf etc) but with Hotmail there seems to be nowhere to click.
