Samsung :: Rogue - How To Open Email Attachments Jpg Files / Way To Adjust Sensitivity Of Touch Screen
Jan 6, 2010
I got a Samsung Rogue for Christmas and the user's manual is not very helpful. I setup the mobile email for my yahoo account but can't figure out how to open jpg files that are either attached or emedded in the email. Also is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the touch screen, it takes a lot of pressure to select the options.
I have just purchased the S2 and the touch screen it to sensitive for me. Is there an option to adjust the tap sensitivity that only when I really push the screen the operation start?
Ok so I am having some really annoying issues with screen taps. texting on this thing freaking sucks, I don't know if its just screen lag or the screen is not reading my finger taps. Any fixes to make the screen read better??????
just got a E7 last week. Great phone for my needs but I find the touch screen a little too sensitive that a slight brush would activate e.g the call dial pad or the options menu in the home screen. This usually happens when I try one handed operations as I try to stretch my thumb across the screen.
Does anyone know where & how to reduce the sensitivity of the touch screen so that it will only register a touch when I deliberately touch it?
I am having a problem opening attachments in my emails. They are usually jpg or png files, which I have never had an issue opening before. I choose "open attachment" from the menu, and the little red clock that appears next to the file just stays there. If i click the trackball, i get a prompt to resend the request, but clicking "yes" doesn't do anything. I recently upgraded to leaked OS .662, but I'm not convinced that is the problem because a coworker has OS 4.7.1.40 (original OS) and he is also experiencing the same problem.
I just upgraded from ios ver 4.something to 5.1.1 on my Iphone 4. I can't open any mail attachments (Jpegs, excel, pdf's). When I click on an attachment it shows that it is downloading the file and then when it is done, the attachment icon blinks and nothing happens. It used to work fine before - I have 2 gmail accounts setup on my phone -they've been on my phone for the past 1yr and working fine. Rebooted the phone by pressing home and power. I deleted the accounts and re-installed with no luck. I went into Mail settings and set images to auto load - no luck. Turned wifi on and off I desperately need this for my work - I've been using Safari to login into Gmail.
I upgraded from an N8 to the Lumia 920.I weekly receive work emails which have attached to them either xls, doc or PDF files which I was able to open directly with my N8 with Quick office or Adobe PDF reader. Not only that, I could download and store the said documents straight to my phone and open with the Microsoft apps too.On the Lumia I'm unable to do either, even though this has Office 365.I'm unable to open any attachment straight from email with it's inbuilt office suite.I do own Office 2010 on my PC, but what do I need to do to integrate with Office 365?When I added my email address it just duplicated the account and still didn't open attachments?
#1 when on my internet browser, it sometimes requires me to zoom in and sometimes click a link severel times before it will actually go to that link. I am wondering if its something to do with the new verizon update or if my phone is messed up?
#2 I cannot open any attachments in my email anymore. Any jpeg, pic, or pdf attachments pull up saying my phone does not support those attachments.
I am unable to open my email attachments regardless of jpeg, txt or pdf formats. The error message received is "This attachment type cannot be viewed on your device".I am actually trying to open a jpeg attachment.
Just got a new Tour because the original one had trackball issues. I uploaded everything to my new tour and re-setup my email. Since then I have been unable to open email attachments. This is the error message I have been getting: More request cannot be completed. Service book information not found. I have also not been able to receive calendar requests.
My Bold 9930 can't open VCF cards sent as email attachments. When I try to open or download the card I get a message saying "Ths attachment type cannot be viewed on your device."
I can't open any email attachments on my 9900. I have followed the online advice but it just keeps saying "more request cannot be completed? Service book info not found". I have sent the service books but still no good.
I have never had a problem opening email attachments on my torch until yesterday. I have rebooted and made sure all my device software is up to date and still no joy.
I am brand new to the Nokia 710 and I have my AOL email account linked up to the phone. I am able to send and recieve emails just fine.My problem is that when I try to open/download any attachments like a Word or PDF document that are in the emails, they never open. They start to open but never do. I can open these attachements on my old Palm Pixi rather quickly and without any trouble so I know it is not the files that are the problem.
I've searched both this USA forum and the UK one and didn't see anyone else with the same issue... so did I not set up something properly with the phone?
Last week, I found out that all the contacts, bookmarks, email & text messages on my blackberry had been deleted. Since then, I have not been able to send emails. Just now, I was able to send a service book to my phone from the blackberry website. I got emails from 'Activation server' and I confirm that I can now send and receive mails. The challenge now is that I cannot view attachments in my email. Each time I try, the following error comes up: 'MORE REQUEST CANNOT BE COMPLETED. SERVICE BOOK INFORMATION NOT FOUND'
I just want to know if there is pdf available for my bb curve 8520,because I'm not able to open some attachments that's been send via email. It says I'm opening an attachment that can't be viewed on my device.
A friend emailed me a couple of pdfs by attachment. I downloaded them and saved them, and opened them with Quickoffice. However, I cannot find them. They are not in the downloads folder, and when I open Quickoffice they do not appear in the Recent Files. The only way to find them is to go back to the original email. Where would they be stored? (One reason that I'd like to know is so that I can delete them: at the moment the only way seems to be to delete the email, which I don't want to do).
We purchased two 9800 Torch phones and both are having the same issue. Word, Excel, and PDF files all open fine on the devices. However, some emails will be received with attachments but the phone does not give the open or download attachment options. If you forward the message from the device, the attachment will still be attached. The issue is intermittent and I have not been able to pin down any consistently as I have received several emails with attachments successfully. The emails that will not give the attachment options also do not have the little paperclip on the email icon from the messages view. Again, hen this exact email is forwarded the attachment will arrive at the destination.
BES version 4.1.7.19 Both users had no issues on prior devices with multiple attachments opened daily.
I can't send files/attachments over 5mb...I run my phones on the Nexus through the main outlook account and are I am using an 'exchange' system/server...
