View 4 Replies View Relatedin the old S5 you could enable "glove mode" to improve touchscreen sensitivity, with this option enabled you could use a simple pencil as a stylus.
I know it's enabled by default in the S6 (even without an option in settings) but it's not as the S5 was (no pencil stylus here).
Ok so I am having some really annoying issues with screen taps. texting on this thing freaking sucks, I don't know if its just screen lag or the screen is not reading my finger taps. Any fixes to make the screen read better??????
View 1 Replies View RelatedI followed the directions to adjust my Android Galaxy S6 Edge but when I went to "Display " to find the "Sensitivity Setting" there was none. Idk if it's been uninstalled or deleted. Either way, can I get it back if so?
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, the screen on my at&t gs6 doesn't seem as responsive as it should be. It often misses swipes I make while playing games or in the ui it also seems to take a bit longer than normal to register taps while typing.
I searched settings and developer options and I see no way to increase screen sensitivity.
Also happens a lot when pulling the drop down menu.
I have a problem with update. When I plug phone to PC and run KIES I cant see what software I'm running on my phone. Due to that I cant update to ice cream sandwich on kies. How do I come back to stock kernel or what to do to let kies to update original software ??

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Advanced Task Killer which I'm finding really useful. I have an ignore list set and it kills the apps that aren't being used regularly. However, I'm wondering why these apps keep restarting again. The sort of things that keep restarting are Gallery, Messaging, Yahoo! Messenger, Email, Skype, Maps, etc. I'm sure that I'm signed out on all of these apps and have the settings set such that they shouldn't keep restarting/synching. Are there any apps similar to 'msconfig' in Windows where you can tick which things you want to start up and what you don't?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've only had the phone a couple of days and I downloaded 3g Watchdog to keep an eye on my data usage and noticed that my total has been increasing even though I'm not surfing, emailing or downloading. Is there anything I could switch off so that the data usage only increases when I actually DO something?

I have an S2, running latest firmware and cannot add my IMAP account to it. I have my gmail, hotmail and exchange accounts setup fine. View 2 Replies View RelatedAny good app to speed up Internet access on Galaxy S2 running ICS. Wifi connection is fine, it's when I am connected via 3G that speed drops and applications such as facebook takes a long time to open and sometimes I encounter timeout errors. For a phone with such a fast processor this is a little bit disappointing. My question therefore is there an app that can run in the background to speed the 3g connection up?
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy phone says its has the following - ndroid version: 2.3.3Baseband version: I9100BUKG1Kernel version: 2.6.35.7-I9100BUKG2-CL342890 root@DELL102 #2Build number: GINGERBREAD.BUKG2ies says may phone has the latest firmware (Kies also updated) but since I updated the phone about 3 weeks ago it keeps restart (as if powered off/on) at various times (during calls, internet access, running apps). View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm finding it really annoying that sometimes when typing part of my palm hits the corner of the phone which brings up the multi task window. Is there a way to reduce the sensitivity of the keys?
It would of been good if they only work when hitting the centre of them and not the edge of the phone.
Having issue using phone when in direct sunlight or when in wind. Lowered screen sensitivity still having the issue.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat effects do the following three adjustments have on touchscreen response and what do the various levels actually mean in practical use?
Tap Interval - 100 to 500?
Hover Period - 100 to 1000?
Swipe Sensitivity - 0 to 6?
I am having problems with my screen. Will not time out even though I go back to settings and redo or change. The screen dims for a moment randomly and then lights full again but will not time out. Also there are a few random times when it seems to loose all touch sensitivity (I cannot unlock!) or if it is unlocked cannot do anything - screen seems to be frozen. And now the proximity sensor doesn't work - the screen is still active once it is up to my ear and it's dailing random numbers while I am trying to talk.
View 8 Replies View Relatedjust got a E7 last week. Great phone for my needs but I find the touch screen a little too sensitive that a slight brush would activate e.g the call dial pad or the options menu in the home screen. This usually happens when I try one handed operations as I try to stretch my thumb across the screen.
Does anyone know where & how to reduce the sensitivity of the touch screen so that it will only register a touch when I deliberately touch it?
when I use the phone while plugged in, scrolling around on the screen sucks. As I swipe on screen, it sometimes won't swipe but will just launch apps that your finger touched last during the swipe. If I swipe slow, it seems to help but sometimes refuses to move and will just launch what ever y finger was touching last when I lift off the screen. It's really annoying and makes the phone useless plugged in because you can't navigate the phone consistently. When I unplug it, it works flawlessly. It's instantly better.
View 8 Replies View RelatedDon't know if this was posted before, but I've found out that the screen sensitivity issue is related to screen brightness settings. If I switch auto brightness off and set it to medium, then the issue disappears. However, if I set it to high I can reproduce the issue immediately.
Touch sensitivity in settings is set to normal.
