When texting, I seem to have to push harder than normal to actually do anything. Is there a way I can adjust the sensitivity of my keypad? I have had the phone for a few weeks and just really started noticing this. I seem to remember on my S3 and/or S4 that I can adjust the sensitivity but can't find anything here.

View 3 Replies View Relatedin the old S5 you could enable "glove mode" to improve touchscreen sensitivity, with this option enabled you could use a simple pencil as a stylus.
I know it's enabled by default in the S6 (even without an option in settings) but it's not as the S5 was (no pencil stylus here).
Ok so I am having some really annoying issues with screen taps. texting on this thing freaking sucks, I don't know if its just screen lag or the screen is not reading my finger taps. Any fixes to make the screen read better??????

I followed the directions to adjust my Android Galaxy S6 Edge but when I went to "Display " to find the "Sensitivity Setting" there was none. Idk if it's been uninstalled or deleted. Either way, can I get it back if so?

View 7 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, the screen on my at&t gs6 doesn't seem as responsive as it should be. It often misses swipes I make while playing games or in the ui it also seems to take a bit longer than normal to register taps while typing.
I searched settings and developer options and I see no way to increase screen sensitivity.
Also happens a lot when pulling the drop down menu.

View 4 Replies View RelatedAny way to adjust the settings so you can't swipe the cover of the dot view to answer or not answer phone calls? I figured out how to turn off some of the other features I don't like (like the double tap to turn on), but so far I haven't found an option for this other then turning dot view itself off entirely. The reason I don't like it is I keep accidentally hanging up on people when I pull my phone out of my pocket with the case closed. Seems silly to me to even have that enabled. I do like the other features though, like turning on the screen when I open the case or showing caller ID through the cover.

on a Samsung S6 -- holding down the 1 key - When voice mail ask for a password -there is no keypad . I tried the page button on the left bottom and get a small sized half a pad then upsize it -- then when I type in a number it inserts a dash after the third digit.. how do i get just a plain keypad to type in a password?

I have had a Samsung Galaxy S2 since christmas and I love it. However I have noticed more and more a fault I am having with my keypad. It doesn't seem to matter if I am using messaging, internet, facebook or something else - when I am typing quite often when I hit the 'd' key it just stops typing. It doesn't seem to happen with any other letters - just 'd'.
Once it has done this I cannot get it to type again. It will recognize suggestions where it shows spelling corrections (I am using swype keypad) but nothing is written on the screen. Even if I come out of it and go back it still wont work, the only way to get it to work again is to go into task manager and end the task and then start again.
I can't seem to get the keypad sweeping working. The box is checked in the settings but when I slide my finger across the keypad to make a word, I simply get the last letter i swipe on.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI set a photo as my background on my X6, but the image re-sizes itself so its bigger in the home screen and not all of the image appears on the screen, alot is cut off.
I cant quite figure out how to adjust the image so that it stays the same size when its used as my back ground, or how to re-adjust the image back! Its annoying because it means my pictures are limited as to what can be on my background, im having to chose really far away shots becaus they appear close up when used as a background!
I've had this problem once before in that my xperia play will not adjust to the right brightness settings. If I go outside and look at it I can see it a little but not enough to do anything with it and if I go inside it just goes to I can't see it at all. Last time this happened waited a while and it just suddenly started working. Do you think I should wait and see if it comes on or just take it and see if they can find out whats wrong with it.

No ringer for calls, no sample sounds while browsing the sound picker, etc. until the phone is restarted. Latest build (M) and rooted.

Ok I've noticed and I have my auto brightness checked off and my brightness level at 70 percent.. Why is it that I notice on home screen and while using apps that my back light dims just a tad every so often.. Its like the screen dims about 10-15 percent quite often.. The first phone I exchanged for another one and this one does the same thing. Only thing I did n changed on the phone is that it's running Art.
