View 1 RepliesI left my iPhone on the table and I came back in about 30 minutes later to find it in direct sunlight, will this damage the iPhone in any shape, way, or form? For example, the display, battery, etc.?

iPhone 4S
Is there anything I can do to make it so it's not as terrible to look at the screen outside if there is a little sun?
View 17 Replies View RelatedEven though I'm eligible for iPhone 4 upgrade and love my iPhone 3G I'm seriously considering switching to VZW simply because at&t is intolerable here in NYC (first it was data, now it's voice).I set my sights on Incredible and played with it at the VZW store. I can live with it fine. One thing that concerns me is screen visibility under sunlight. I use iPhone quite a lot on the street and really grew to appreciate how visible its screen. Any opinions from those who used both phones on how Incredible stacks in this regard against iPhone?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI keep playing with the settings I want my Screen to stay lit when I am outdoors? I got this clear black display, and I go in sunlight, and it dimms so much I cannot see it at all. I have played with a bunch of settings and it keeps doing it?

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I had my bold for about 3 months now... I'm always constantly on it; always checking BBM's and text messages. One day I noticed that the cursor would move as I am typing a message. I was like wtf but I ignored it... then it kept happening and I noticed that this only happened when I was outside and had my phone out...
I tried using my phone under my desk lamp and there's nothing wrong it. It's something about the sunlight when I'm using my phone that makes the trackpad move in different directions.
Its screen lost sensitivity, i can't operate the phone freely, is it need a expensive price to cure it ?

View 5 Replies View Relatedin the old S5 you could enable "glove mode" to improve touchscreen sensitivity, with this option enabled you could use a simple pencil as a stylus.
I know it's enabled by default in the S6 (even without an option in settings) but it's not as the S5 was (no pencil stylus here).
Ok so I am having some really annoying issues with screen taps. texting on this thing freaking sucks, I don't know if its just screen lag or the screen is not reading my finger taps. Any fixes to make the screen read better??????
View 1 Replies View RelatedI followed the directions to adjust my Android Galaxy S6 Edge but when I went to "Display " to find the "Sensitivity Setting" there was none. Idk if it's been uninstalled or deleted. Either way, can I get it back if so?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat effects do the following three adjustments have on touchscreen response and what do the various levels actually mean in practical use?
Tap Interval - 100 to 500?
Hover Period - 100 to 1000?
Swipe Sensitivity - 0 to 6?
I am having problems with my screen. Will not time out even though I go back to settings and redo or change. The screen dims for a moment randomly and then lights full again but will not time out. Also there are a few random times when it seems to loose all touch sensitivity (I cannot unlock!) or if it is unlocked cannot do anything - screen seems to be frozen. And now the proximity sensor doesn't work - the screen is still active once it is up to my ear and it's dailing random numbers while I am trying to talk.
View 8 Replies View Relatedjust got a E7 last week. Great phone for my needs but I find the touch screen a little too sensitive that a slight brush would activate e.g the call dial pad or the options menu in the home screen. This usually happens when I try one handed operations as I try to stretch my thumb across the screen.
Does anyone know where & how to reduce the sensitivity of the touch screen so that it will only register a touch when I deliberately touch it?
when I use the phone while plugged in, scrolling around on the screen sucks. As I swipe on screen, it sometimes won't swipe but will just launch apps that your finger touched last during the swipe. If I swipe slow, it seems to help but sometimes refuses to move and will just launch what ever y finger was touching last when I lift off the screen. It's really annoying and makes the phone useless plugged in because you can't navigate the phone consistently. When I unplug it, it works flawlessly. It's instantly better.
View 8 Replies View RelatedDon't know if this was posted before, but I've found out that the screen sensitivity issue is related to screen brightness settings. If I switch auto brightness off and set it to medium, then the issue disappears. However, if I set it to high I can reproduce the issue immediately.
Touch sensitivity in settings is set to normal.
Does anyone know if you can alter the screen sensitivity on an s2 running ics?

I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice that with the high-sensitivity option turned on for the screen, I'm able to jab at the screen without actually touching it and register touches! Its slow, but I've typed this post without touching the screen!
View 5 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, the screen on my at&t gs6 doesn't seem as responsive as it should be. It often misses swipes I make while playing games or in the ui it also seems to take a bit longer than normal to register taps while typing.
I searched settings and developer options and I see no way to increase screen sensitivity.
Also happens a lot when pulling the drop down menu.
I got a Samsung Rogue for Christmas and the user's manual is not very helpful. I setup the mobile email for my yahoo account but can't figure out how to open jpg files that are either attached or emedded in the email. Also is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the touch screen, it takes a lot of pressure to select the options.
